Care and Cleaning Tips
Warning!
Improper handling of the speaker may cause damage.
- Always unplug the speaker from the power supply before cleaning!
- Ensure that all connections are correctly made, no short circuits are present, and the speaker is completely dry before resuming operation.
- Do not use harsh cleaning agents or solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, or similar substances!
Cabinet
We recommend using a commercial glass cleaner sprayed onto a cotton cloth. This easily removes most fingerprints and dirt. Alternatively, you can use active foam window cleaners. We advise against using microfiber cloths, as they can cause small scratches on the surface. For veneered cabinets, use appropriate furniture care products.
Diaphragms and Speaker Chassis
To remove dust from a speaker chassis, use a lint-free cotton cloth to gently wipe the diaphragm with minimal pressure. The tweeters of all Nubert speakers are equipped with protective grilles, allowing them to also be wiped gently. If the dust cannot be completely removed, a makeup brush from a drugstore works well.
