nuConnect ampX - compact integrated amplifier with impressive performance

The nuConnect ampX is a fully digital integrated amplifier that offers two 130 W outputs with a width of 23.4 cm. It offers one analogue input, two coaxial and two optical digital inputs, as well as a USB DAC and an HDMI ARC port. Of particular interest is the high-quality phono preamplifier, which boasts outstanding noise behaviour and the ability to switch between MM and MC. The picture is rounded off by support for Bluetooth aptX HD and our in-house wireless standard. This means that not only passive speakers can be used, but also nuPro X speakers. The nuConnect ampX thus becomes a smart hub.

Care and Cleaning Tips

Caution!

Improper handling of the speaker can cause damage.

  • Always unplug the speaker before cleaning!
  • Ensure the speaker is completely dry, and all connections are correctly made with no short circuits before resuming operation.
  • Do not use sharp cleaning agents or solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, or similar!

Housing

We recommend using standard glass cleaner sprayed onto a cotton cloth. This effectively removes fingerprints and dirt. Alternatively, you can use foam-based glass cleaners. Avoid using microfiber cloths, as they may cause micro-scratches on the surface.

Speaker Membranes and Chassis

To remove dust from a speaker chassis, use a lint-free cotton cloth and gently wipe the membrane with very light pressure. The tweeters on all Nubert speakers are equipped with a protective grille, so they can also be wiped gently. If dust cannot be completely removed, a makeup brush from a drugstore is suitable.
