The CS 30.3 CD Receiver combines AVM’s decades of experience in high-performance all-in-one devices with state-of-the-art technology. Built on the AVM X-STREAM Engine®, it offers seamless control via the new RC X App and versatile connectivity options, including HDMI ARC for TV connections, replacing complex stacks of devices and tangled cables.
High Performance in a Compact Design
Powered by the AVM X-STREAM Engine®, the CS 30.3 CD Receiver integrates decades of expertise in developing all-in-one devices with cutting-edge technology. Complete control is provided via the new RC X App, and with modern connectivity options like HDMI ARC, bulky device stacks and cable clutter are a thing of the past. AVM has miniaturized proven audio technologies from its flagship CS 8.3 into an elegant, screwless housing, creating one of the most powerful compact receivers in the world.
AVM’s X-STREAM Engine®
The AVM X-STREAM Engine® streams all high-resolution formats, including DSD (up to DSD256), and is future-proof with online updates. It features HDMI ARC, Bluetooth 5.0, digital inputs, and a USB-A interface. A standout feature is the new phono input stage for MM/MC and volume-controlled digital outputs. The HDMI ARC input also ensures simple TV connection and control.
The digital section of the CS 30.3 has been completely redesigned, drawing on AVM’s decades of experience. A selected ESS converter of the latest generation (9038 Q 2 M) delivers significant sonic improvements, enabling flawless and natural reproduction of high-resolution formats. This advanced DAC greatly enhances the playback of all digital audio sources.

Opening the Device
CAUTION: Never open the housing or other covers of the device. All maintenance must be performed by qualified service personnel.
Proper Disconnection from Power
DANGER: To fully disconnect the device from the power supply, use the power switch on the back of the device and then unplug the power cord from the outlet.
Operation During Thunderstorms
DANGER: Overvoltages caused by lightning strikes can damage or even destroy the device. If a thunderstorm is approaching, unplug the power cord from the outlet. Simply turning off the device with the power switch is not sufficient, as overvoltages can "jump" across the open contacts.
Cleaning the Housing
WARNING: Ensure that no liquid enters the interior of the device during cleaning. For safety reasons, unplug the power cable before wiping with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners, as these could damage the surface or markings of the housing.
