Cartridges for vinyl players always require an additional amplification stage. In order to exploit all the possibilities of the analogue disc to the utmost limit, AVM has developed an audiophile phono preamplifier with a multitude of extensive comfort functions. With the OVATION PH 8.3, adjustments to the phono preamplifier can be made conveniently from the listening position to ideally reproduce different pick-up systems, arms and vinyl players. As with all models of the OVATION 8 series, an original OVATION tube stage with exclusive AVM 803 T tube technology and its unmistakably charming tube sound is used as the output stage.

Maximum comfort and comparability: With the OVATION PH 8.3 phono preamplifier, all common adjustments of a pick-up system (MM/MC) can be made and much more! From the listening position, it is easy to find the ideal and personal settings: Gain, load, mono/stereo, and also the equalisation curve as well as the subsonic filter can be comfortably adjusted and saved via remote control. There is no need to leave the listening position and ideal comparability, even between different arms/pick-up systems, becomes very easy.
