Hello René, thank you for your pictures. What speakers and electronics do you have installed in your home cinema, and why did you choose this setup?

AV Receiver: Denon AVR-4700H
Subwoofer Amplifier: Dynacord L1300FD DSP
Subwoofer: Single Bass Array consisting of 4x Subwoofers (Kit BS12 from fm-audio.eu with Chassis: GRS 12SW-4HE)
TV: LG OLED83C17LB (83”)
Network Switch: TP-Link TL-SG1016D
Players:
4K Player: Panasonic DP-UB824EGK
Streaming: Apple TV 4K
Gaming: Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch
I discovered Nubert through a friend's recommendation. My decision to choose Nubert speakers was made after a test listening session in Duisburg.
I opted for the Denon AVR out of habit, and I selected the amplifier for the SBA to leave room for possible future upgrades. A projector was not suitable for my living room, so I chose an OLED TV.
All devices are connected via a 16-port network switch through LAN, which was crucial for seamless streaming without loss of quality.
The front consists of a 38cm thick wooden construction. Behind the acoustic panels and fabric-covered frames hide not only the subwoofers but also 30cm thick porous absorbers. Additionally, the NuVero 70 is built into the wall as the center speaker.
The up to 65cm deep rear wall contains electronics (hidden behind the couch), the film collection, and LEGO film models arranged to enhance the cinema atmosphere. Behind the acoustic panels, there are 40-60cm porous absorbers for passive cancellation of the Single Bass Array. The NuVero 50 as Surround Back speakers are integrated into the wall.
The cube shelves themselves have 5cm absorbers from the manufacturer AixFoam on the back wall.
The ceiling absorbers consist of 8cm absorbers from the manufacturer AixFoam.
The Blu-ray shelf on the side is intended to showcase my favorite films/covers. It also features an 8cm wall absorber from the manufacturer AixFoam.
What fascinates you about home cinema?
What probably applies to everyone is good spatial and precise sound, along with rich bass. Additionally, I particularly enjoy choosing a movie with family and friends and having the cinema experience at any time. Popcorn is a must.
Which film or series should not be missed?
There are just too many good films. To name one: The Equalizer
