Hello Volkmar, thank you for your pictures. What speakers and electronics do you have installed in your home cinema, and why did you choose this setup?
In 2021, the renovation of the living room was on the agenda. In this context, a new sideboard was planned to house audio technology. However, due to the impact of Corona and general supply challenges, the cost of wood had significantly increased, causing the sideboard to become considerably more expensive.
Therefore, I took my time with the decision and, in December, purchased a new Nubert system: nuLine 284, CS-174, and nuLine 34 for beside the sofa. An DENON AVR-X4500H served as the amplifier.
To get everything up and running, with the living room filled with the huge packaging material of the speakers, I decided on the spot to build a "temporary solution." Using the packaging of the nuLine 284, I created a sideboard in the style of what I had envisioned in white wood.
What fascinates you about home cinema?
In cinema mode during the evening in the darkened room, the Ambilight of the Philips TV, along with additional Hue strips along the ceiling and under the "sideboard," provides a perfect cinematic experience.
Which film and series should not be missed?
"Mr. Robot" keeps you guessing over many episodes, and "Babel" offers captivating moments.
