HDMI/ARC Cinch Adapter

The Nubert HDMI/ARC adapter extracts an analogue audio signal from the HDMI data stream and allows sound control via the TV remote control. By using it, the output volume can be conveniently controlled via the TV remote control. This saves having to use several signal transmitters. This makes the adapter ideal for connecting speakers from our nuPro A series (e.g. the AS-250 and AS-450 stereo boards) to the HDMI/ARC port of a TV. Speakers from the nuPro X series already come with their own "DONGLE" adapter. The Nubert HDMI/ARC adapter is connected to the HDMI ARC port of the TV using an HDMI cable (optionally available). After the HDMI signal has arrived in the adapter, an analogue stereo signal is extracted from it, which is forwarded to both the stereo cinch output and the jack output. From there, the connection is made to the nuPro speakers, for example with the jack cinch cable (included with the nuPro speakers). For the connection to work smoothly, the following settings must be made:

1. The audio output via HDMI/ARC may have to be activated on the TV. Attention: Not every HDMI port supports ARC. HDMI ports with ARC support are marked as such (a look at the back of the device or in the operating instructions of the TV usually helps here).
2. The audio signal must be output in stereo in PCM format. A corresponding option can be found in the system or audio menu of most TV models.
3. For the nuPro speakers, the correct input must be selected (AUX).

Notes: Please note that your TV set must have an HDMI ARC connection and the setting options described above for the connection to work smoothly. Please consult the manual of your TV set or, if in doubt, contact the manufacturer of the set to find out how it works. Our hotline will also be happy to advise you; however, we cannot guarantee that the adapter will work correctly on every TV model - the choice and range is simply too great. In our experience, problems occasionally occur in connection with the Nubert adapter, for example with newer models from Samsung.

Please note: No power supply unit is included in the scope of delivery. The adapter is connected to a voltage source with 5 volts DC, for example a USB socket of the TV or a Nubert stereo board, using the supply cable. If neither is available, a commercially available USB power supply unit can also be used.
