Jack plugs are widely used in audio, especially for connecting headphones. There are micro (2.5 mm), mini (3.5 mm) and large jack plugs (6.3 mm) as well as some intermediate sizes.

Stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface. An interface through which sound, image and other information such as network signals can be transmitted.

Hertz
Physical unit for frequency; in audio, it is used to indicate sound vibrations per second. Abbreviation: Hz. kHz means kilohertz (1,000 hertz).

A high-pass filters out (or attenuates) frequencies below a certain limit, while allowing frequencies above it to pass.

Horn loudspeaker
A certain type of loudspeaker in which a funnel concentrates sound and thus increases the pressure. There are no horn loudspeakers in the Nubert range.
