Here you will find a summary of all terms used in the shop in one place.
PCM
Frequently used uncompressed sound format. All Nubert active speakers can process PCM sound.
Phase
Sound waves form a repeating pattern. The phase indicates at which point in its cycle you view the sound wave, from 0° (beginning) to 360° (end).
Player
A device that plays media. Examples: Record player, CD player, network player, smartphone.
Power amplifier
In a hi-fi or home cinema chain, the power amplifier is the device that drives the speakers.
Preliminary stage
In a hi-fi or home cinema chain, the preamplifier is the device that receives signals from the players and processes them for the power amplifier.
