Here you will find a summary of all terms used in the shop in one place.
Three-way loudspeaker
Speaker cabinet that uses at least three different drivers to reproduce the high, mid and low frequencies. Example: the top models of our nuVero series.
THX
Quality seal created by the Lucasfilm company for home cinema components. There are several THX standards for different hi-fi and video devices.
Tuner
Receiver. In the hi-fi sector, this usually means a radio receiver; in the TV and home cinema sector, it means the receiver section of a TV set.
Tweeter
The tweeter is responsible for reproducing high frequencies in a loudspeaker cabinet.
Two-and-a-half-way loudspeaker
A two-and-a-half-way loudspeaker is basically constructed in the same way as a two-way loudspeaker, but usually has additional drivers (exclusively) for the bass range.
Two-way box
Loudspeaker that uses at least two different drivers for reproducing the high and mid/bass ranges. Example: the models in our nuBox series.
