Well-founded TV acoustician
The nuPro AS-3500 is no ordinary soundbar - it can do much more. Thanks to an increase in cabinet volume compared to classic soundbar concepts with a shallow depth, it offers a fuller bass range with extended bass response. At the same time, it is possible to place a TV weighing a maximum of 65 kg on top of the nuPro AS-3500. Thanks to the Nubert high-tech chassis, the maximum output of 240 watts and the flexible connectivity, our soundplate can also replace the classic stereo system - and, thanks to the Nubert Voice+ function, impress with enormous clarity in voice reproduction. Dolby Digital and DTS decoders are also available.

TV-Soundupgrade
As an upgrade for the TV, the nuPro AS-3500 provides more foundation and clearer voices. With integrated Dolby and DTS decoders, the nuPro AS-3500 is open to a wide range of media and Voice+ optimises dialogue. When connected via HDMI eARC, you can conveniently control the volume using the TV remote control.
Stereo? Yes, please!
The nuPro AS-3500 has been developed for maximum detail reproduction and is therefore also suitable as a replacement for the classic stereo system. Your favourite tracks can be played via an existing CD or network player using the digital inputs, or streamed from a smartphone using Bluetooth aptX HD.
Our nuSubs are already waiting
Thanks to an outstanding 36 Hz lower cut-off frequency, the nuPro AS-3500's bass response and bass are at a high level. If even more bass power is required, we recommend a model from the nuSub series, such as the nuSub XW-700 - compact and powerful. Simply connect the soundbar with a cable and it will cut off at 80 Hz. The subwoofer takes care of the rest.
Perfect on the PC
A nuPro AS-3500 can also massively increase the acoustic performance on a PC - and at the same time, even monitors with a large screen diagonal can be placed comfortably and safely on the nuPro AS-3500. You can use the optical or coaxial input to bring the sound signals from games or music to the soundbar digitally. Alternatively, this can also be done via the analogue RCA inputs.

Remote control
The ergonomically shaped remote control with metal surface is clearly laid out and provides quick access to the inputs, volume, DSP modes, sound control and the Bluetooth pairing button for wireless connection to a smartphone.
Wide and loudness function
The best possible sound is the most important element in the Nubert DNA. That's why we have integrated adaptive loudness so that bass is reproduced with full volume even at low volumes. There is also a wide function that provides more spaciousness in the sound image.
Voice+ and tone control
Dialogue that is difficult to understand is a thing of the past thanks to our Voice+ function. You can individually adjust the bass range as well as the mids and highs. Your advantage: the acoustic tuning is customised to your personal taste.
Integrated Dolby Digital and DTS decoder
Modern films and streaming services usually come with a Dolby or DTS track. Our nuPro AS-3500 has integrated decoders for these widely used multi-channel sound standards for convincing sound quality at all times.
Colours
Our nuPro AS models have a satin matt finish and a multi-layer lacquer. The choice is yours: White or black offers a good option for discreet integration in any living room, or to create a targeted contrast. The fabric covers are always a neutral black colour and perfectly match the active speakers.

Series overview
The nuPro AS-3500 uses the same technology platform as the nuPro SP models, specially optimised for use in a soundbar. This means that the active soundbase is ready-to-use. General Information
Never operate the loudspeaker unattended!
Danger of Electric Shock!
To avoid the risk of electric shock, the speaker may not be opened by the user. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the speaker. Service work and repairs are reserved for qualified specialists authorized by Nubert. If you need service, please contact Nubert electronic GmbH directly (info@nubert.de)!
Danger of Suffocation!
Never let children use or play with the speaker, remote control, or packaging unattended. There is a risk that children will get caught in the packaging film and suffocate. Make sure that children cannot remove any small parts from the devices! These parts, like the remote control battery, could be swallowed and cause suffocation. In case of swallowing any parts, contact a doctor immediately!
Danger of Injury or Damage!
When moving the speaker, take care to avoid injury and damage!
Caution!
Since the speaker can only be completely disconnected from the mains at the mains input on the rear of the unit or by pulling the mains plug from the socket, it must be positioned so that you have free access to the mains input or mains plug. If any of the following situations occurs, the loudspeaker must be switched off immediately and disconnected from the mains. Contact Nubert electronic GmbH (info@nubert.de) immediately:
- The speaker has been damaged or has fallen down.
- Power cord or plug is damaged.
- Objects or liquid have gotten into the loudspeaker.
- The speaker has been exposed to excessive moisture or rain.
- The speaker does not work properly or exhibits a significant reduction in performance.
- The loudspeaker smells burnt, develops smoke, or makes unusual noises.
Only use accessories recommended by Nubert!
Installation Instructions
Caution!
An unstable location can damage the speaker.
- Only place the loudspeaker on a flat, stable surface and make sure that it cannot be knocked over!
- Also make sure that no unintentional pulling can occur on the cables to avoid knocking over the speaker or damaging the connection sockets!
- Keep strong mechanical shocks away from the loudspeaker!
Caution!
Excessive heat build-up inside the unit can shorten its service life or lead to fire.
- Never cover the back of the speaker! Make sure that there is a clearance of at least 10 cm and sufficient air circulation in the back area!
- Do not operate the speaker and remote control near heat sources such as radiators or stoves!
- Do not expose the speaker and remote control to direct sunlight.
- Never place burning candles or similar open fire sources on the loudspeaker!
Danger of Explosion!
Installation in unsuitable locations can cause explosions. Do not use the speaker or remote control:
- in environments where there is a risk of fire or explosion!
- at extremely low or extremely high temperatures!
- near flammable gases or vapours!
- near strong dust!
- near flammable materials!
Danger of Electric Shock!
The loudspeaker carries mains voltage and voltages higher than 35 V AC or DC inside. It has no special protection against the intrusion of liquids or objects into the system. There is therefore a risk of lethal electric shock.
- Never touch the speaker with wet hands!
- Only use the speaker in a dry place!
- Do not operate it outdoors or in damp rooms!
- The loudspeaker must be protected from liquids of all kinds, including dripping and splashing water.
- Do not place any containers containing liquids (e.g., flower vases) on the speaker or in the immediate vicinity!
- If the loudspeaker is moved from a cold environment to a warm room, condensation may form inside the unit. Wait at least six hours until the loudspeaker has reached room temperature and is dry before switching it on!
- No objects of any kind may get into the device.
- Should the loudspeaker come into contact with liquids or should objects have gotten inside, please unplug the mains plug immediately and contact Nubert electronic GmbH (info@nubert.de)!
Danger of Injury or Damage!
For speakers with threaded bushings on the underside:
The threaded bushings may be used for upright mounting of the loudspeaker on suitable base plates or feet only. The threaded bushings on the underside of the loudspeaker enclosures are not designed for tensile loads and must therefore not be used as holders for hooks or similar devices in order to suspend the loudspeaker cabinet. A falling speaker may cause serious injury and damage.
Connection Instructions
General Connection Instructions
- Disconnect the mains plug before changing any wiring on the system!
- Make sure that all connections have been made correctly and that all plugs are firmly seated in the sockets before connecting the speaker to the mains.
- Use only the intended cables or plug connections for the connections! Failure to do so may result in damage or malfunction.
- If you want to disconnect connections on the loudspeaker, always pull the plug, never the cable!
- Ensure that all plugs are firmly seated in the sockets!
- Only use cables and accessories recommended by Nubert!
Danger of Electric Shock!
Faulty mains supply systems or excessive mains voltage can lead to electric shocks.
- All power supply or antenna systems connected to the loudspeaker must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and be professionally installed by an approved installation company.
- Use only the appropriate power cord to connect the speaker. Do not modify the power cord or its plug.
- Make sure that the mains voltage at your location matches the requirements of the loudspeaker! The correct power supply can be found on the label on the back of the speaker. It must not be connected to other power supplies.
- Devices of Class 1 construction must be connected to the mains power socket outlet with a protective earth connection. Make sure that the installation of the protective earth is carried out correctly!
- When laying the power cables, make sure that they cannot be damaged (e.g., by heating or mechanical stress)! Pay particular attention to the areas of the connectors and distributors!
Caution!
Overvoltage in the power supply system (e.g., due to lightning) can damage or destroy the device and power supply unit.
- An overvoltage protection element can provide a certain degree of protection against excessively high voltages in the power grid.
- However, the greatest possible protection against damage can only be achieved with the complete separation from the mains supply. In case of thunderstorms or danger of lightning strikes, disconnect the mains cable from the socket and any antenna plugs from your hi-fi system!
- If the speaker is not used for a long period of time or is unattended, the power supply should be disconnected. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket!
Remote Control and Battery
This product comes with a remote control and a battery. The following must be observed when handling remote controls and batteries:
- If the batteries are discharged, the range of the remote control will decrease significantly. If this happens, replace the batteries immediately.
- Always use high-quality CR2025 lithium button cells as replacement batteries.
- Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the battery into the battery compartment!
Caution!
Improper handling can lead to material damage.
- Do not drop the remote control!
- Do not expose the remote control and battery to water or other liquids!
- Do not operate or store the remote control and battery in locations with high humidity or particularly high or low temperature!
Danger!
Leaking or exploding batteries can pose a health hazard and cause damage to goods.
- If you do not use the device for a long time or if the batteries are depleted, remove the batteries from the remote control to prevent discharge, leakage of acid, or explosions.
- Leaking batteries must be replaced immediately.
- If you find a leaking battery, do not touch the leaking material and dispose of the batteries immediately!
- Do not touch leaking batteries!
- Should your skin, eyes, or mouth come into contact with the leaking material, clean the affected area immediately with water and contact a doctor!
Danger! Do Not Ingest Battery, Chemical Burn Hazard!
Ingestion of batteries can cause severe internal burns and death within a short time span.
- Ensure that batteries do not get into your body by any means, in particular that they cannot be swallowed!
- Keep new and used batteries away from children.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
- If you think that batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention!
Care and Cleaning Tips
Caution!
Improper handling of the speaker may result in damage.
- Always unplug the speaker before cleaning it!
- Before recommissioning, make sure that all connections are correct, that there are no short circuits, and that the speaker is completely dry.
- Never use strong cleaning agents or solvents such as petrol, spirit, or similar!
Enclosure
We recommend commercial window cleaner sprayed onto a cotton cloth. This allows almost all fingerprints and dust to be easily removed. Alternatively, you can also use window active foam.
We advise against the use of microfibre cloths! These can cause mini scratches in the surface.
Diaphragms and Speaker Chassis
To remove dust from a loudspeaker chassis, a lint-free cotton cloth is sufficient to wipe the membrane lightly with very little pressure.

Questions about soundbars
It usually helps to check the TV manual and look for the keywords "HDMI CEC" and "HDMI ARC". Often there are only small settings to be made in the TV menu, such as selecting the external audio system for sound output. We are also happy to help on the phone.

perfekte Soundbar
Ich habe die nuPro AS-250 durch diese Soundbar ersetzt. Auf der Suche nach einem passenden Teil, war klar, dass ich an Nubert nicht vorbeikomme. Leider kann man nirgends vor Ort Soundbars vergleichen (keine ausreichende Auswahl und meist keine Räumlichkeiten), weshalb ich mich auf Testberichte und Erfahrungen anderer verlassen habe. Außerdem habe ich bereits mehrfach gute Erfahrungen mit Nubert Lautsprechern gemacht. Natürlich ersetzt die Soundbar keine gute Stereoanlage aber mir reicht der Sound vollkommen aus, zumal ich nicht sehr laut aufdrehen kann. Der Sound bei niedrigen Lautstärken ist schon sehr geil, egal ob Fernsehton oder andere Audiosignale. Die Soundbar sieht zudem klasse aus, „verschandelt“ also kein Wohnzimmer. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und Anschlussmöglichkeiten sind gut und funktionieren prima. Eigentlich müssen sich Interessenten nur die Beschreibung hier auf den Nubert Seiten durchlesen, weil die Angaben und die Beschreibungen 100% stimmen und nicht geschönt sind.

Einfach sensationell….
Hallo Allerseits, hatte vorher die 225 max Soundbar die schon gigantisch war aber wegen der räumlichen Umgebung sollte was größeres her. Diese Soundbar bestellt was super schnell geht und was soll ich sagen - Einfach sensationell. Einfache Einstellungen am Gerät oder mit der Fernbedienung und das was herauskommt ist unfassbar. Trockener sauberer Bass mit klaren Höhen usw. Kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen … so macht Fernsehen etc. Spass. Die Fa. Nubert weiß wie man es macht. Beste Grüße aus München Stefan

Absolute Empfehlung
Ich habe mir vor dieser Soundbar, die Teufel Cinebar Ultima zum testen bestellt. Bei dieser Soundbar hat jedoch dieses gewisse etwas gefehlt. Der Klang war zu zentral und einfach nicht so klar. Nach einiger Suche bin ich dann auf Nubert gestoßen und habe mir nach einem Beratungsgespräch diese Soundbar bestellt. Und ich muss sagen, ich bin sowas von begeistert. Der Klang ist wundervoll. Ob für Serien, Filme oder einfach zum Musik hören. Durch die Einstellmöglichkeiten kann man sie immer auf die Bedürfnisse anpassen. Also eine klare Kaufempfehlung von mir. Nubert verspricht wirklich nicht zu viel. Wer für unter 1000€ ein klangliches Erlebnis für Zuhause haben möchte, liegt mit dieses Soundbar absolut richtig.

Der Wahnsinn !
Ich selber besitze dieses geniale Teil nicht ! Jedoch ein Freund von mir war auf der Suche nach einer vernünftigen Alternative zu einem Sourround Set ! Ich habe ihm Nubert empfohlen, da ich selber Standboxen, Regallautsprecher etc. Von Nubert besitze und sehr begeistert davon bin ! Als wir das Teil dann angeschlossen und Probe gehört hatten, konnten wir nicht glauben was hier abgeht.....der Wahnsinn ! Was für ein geiles Teil ! Egal welche Musik, Film oder Gaming.....hier wird sowas von abgeliefert ! Präzise, klar, räumlich und die Bässe sowas von gewaltig.....einfach nur genial ! Wer hier noch einen Subwoofer hinzuschaltet, sollte sich einen Termin beim Ohrenartzt geben lassen ! Die knapp 1000 Euro sind mehr als gerechtfertigt ! Besser wird schwierig !

This effect is particularly impressive given the compact size of the soundbar! Music recordings especially benefit from this smart algorithm. A new feature, the "Voice+" option, focuses on speech reproduction, making dialogues in movies or commentary in news programs and documentaries much clearer. Combined, Loudness and Voice+ make low-level television viewing much more enjoyable.
The nuPro AS-3500 is also the first Nubert soundbar with an integrated decoder for the Dolby and DTS audio tracks from DVDs, Blu-rays, and streaming services like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video. The powerful signal processor optimally prepares surround information for two-channel playback.
Setting up the nuPro AS-3500 is a breeze. Thanks to its ultra-flat profile, the soundbar fits perfectly under the TV. Its rounded cabinet edges, high-quality multi-layer lacquer, and detachable magnetic fabric cover allow the soundbar to blend seamlessly into any living environment. It is best connected to the TV’s ARC or eARC-enabled output via HDMI, enabling both audio signal and control information transmission. This allows you to adjust the soundbar’s volume with the TV remote and power on/off both devices simultaneously. Detailed settings can be made with the high-quality AS-3500 remote control included. Alternatively, you can use a rotary knob on the front of the unit; multi-colored LEDs provide essential information such as the selected input or volume.
The nuPro AS-3500 is recommended not only as a beautifully designed TV sound system but also as a compact stereo system for music enjoyment. Fully digital signal processing provides recordings with absolute authenticity and sound purity. Classic hi-fi devices such as network streamers or CD players, as well as game consoles, can be connected directly via the analog or digital inputs of the stereo board. Smartphones, tablets, or laptops can even connect wirelessly via the built-in Bluetooth receiver. With support for aptX HD (Android) and AAC (iOS), audio signals are transmitted in excellent quality. However, the nuPro AS-3500 does not support the high-resolution wireless X-Connect standard used to network nuPro X series models. With the optional nuConnect trX transceiver, nuSub series subwoofers can be connected wirelessly. Alternatively, standard active woofers can be connected via the sub-out using a cable.

Build and Housing
The nuPro AS-3500 is a fully active all-in-one sound system. This means it connects directly to the TV, satellite receiver, Blu-ray player, or even game consoles, smartphones, or hi-fi equipment to play back movie sound, sound effects, or music. To achieve this, the sound deck uses a digital amplifier with 160 watts of rated power and 240 watts of music power, driving two tweeters, two midrange drivers, and two woofers across four channels. Frequency distribution is partially active, with a passive crossover separating low and mid frequencies. The signals are processed and enhanced by a powerful digital processor.
The housing of the nuPro AS-3500 is made of thick, low-resonance MDF wood fiber material and is carefully reinforced, providing a load capacity of over 100 kilograms for TVs placed on top. The rounded front edge minimizes harmful edge dispersion, contributing to precise sound reproduction. The bass reflex ports are located at the back of the cabinet, so a wall clearance of about ten centimeters is recommended. The subwoofers radiate downwards, with optimal spacing ensured by four spike feet. The elegant design and high-quality lacquered finish in black or white create a home-friendly aesthetic, further enhanced by the magnetically attached fabric cover (black in both versions). The status LEDs remain visible through the fabric cover.
The nuPro AS-3500 functions as a stereo system with left and right channels. The relatively wide housing enables a three-dimensional stage effect, which can be further expanded using the integrated Wide function ("Horizon Expansion"), maximizing the stereo experience. Specifically for movies and TV programs, the "Voice+" speech focus is also included, offering clearer speech reproduction. Purists can, of course, continue to enjoy pure two-channel sound.
Chassis
The high-frequency range is covered by two modern 25-millimeter dome tweeters, which are also used in other models of the nuPro series. Two polypropylene drivers with a diameter of 119 millimeters provide pronounced mid-frequency sound reproduction. In the low-frequency range, two long-throw drivers are embedded in the underside of the soundbar. All drivers are specially manufactured for Nubert and have been optimized over many development stages in collaboration with our engineers for their specific purpose.
Controls and Settings
The stereo board can be controlled either with the supplied remote control or using the rotary knob on the front of the unit. Key functions, such as volume control, are easily accessible through the TV when connected via the HDMI (e)ARC input. The included remote control, distinguished by its high-quality feel and elegant design, provides quick access to various sound settings.
Multi-colored LEDs around the rotary knob provide clear information about the selected input and device status and are easily visible through the detachable fabric cover.
Sound Adjustment
The soundbar offers several sound settings to tailor the playback image to the listener's preferences or the room’s acoustics. Bass and mid/high frequency playback can be adjusted in several stages. An adaptive loudness function automatically enhances low-frequency playback at low volumes. For expanded stereo staging, there’s also an advanced two-stage wide function to preserve the character of the recording as much as possible. Finally, for low-level playback of movies and TV shows, the Voice+ sound mode provides clearer, more understandable speech reproduction.
Connections and Audio Formats
On the back of the stereo board, there are four audio inputs. The most important is the HDMI input (version 2.1), which ideally connects to the ARC or eARC output of the TV (or another AV device like a receiver) and receives not only audio signals but also control commands from compatible TV models, such as volume control. Additionally, an analog RCA input, an optical, and a coaxial digital input are available to connect other hi-fi, AV, or entertainment devices. A sub-output allows the connection of an external subwoofer to further enhance bass reproduction (crossover frequency: 80 Hertz). The nuPro AS-3500 can also be paired with tablets, mobile phones, and other compatible devices via Bluetooth, enabling wireless audio signal reception. With support for aptX HD and AAC, high-quality transmission with minimal delay is achieved via aptX Low Latency.
The nuPro AS-3500 not only plays sound in PCM format but also decodes Dolby Digital (AC3) and DTS Digital Surround. The soundboard is therefore ideally equipped to play back audio tracks from Blu-rays, DVDs, or streaming videos and prepare them for optimal stereo reproduction. The correct format, output, and ARC function may need to be enabled on the source device.
Power
This soundbar comes with a practical automatic energy-saving function that switches the box on or into energy-saving standby mode when not in use. In this standby mode, which can also be activated manually via the remote control or rotary knob, the sound system consumes less than 0.5 watts. A toggle switch allows the nuPro AS-3500 to be completely disconnected from the power. The wide-range power supply allows this active speaker to be used at power voltages from 110 to 120 and 230 to 240 volts.
