Acoustic upgrade for your TV
As a classic upgrade for the TV, the nuPro SP-200 provides more volume, more spatial width and always clear voices on the TV. When connected via HDMI eARC, you can also conveniently control the volume using the TV remote control. Alternatively, an optical and an analogue input are available.
Smart stereo pair
The nuPro SP-200 was developed for a stereo performance typical of Nubert and is therefore also suitable as a replacement for the classic stereo system. Content can be played via the digital inputs using an existing CD or network player. Or you can stream via smartphone - Bluetooth with aptX HD makes it possible.
Even stronger with nuSub
46 Hz lower cut-off frequency: Our nuPro AS-200 set plays quite low down. If you want even more and even deeper bass for a film, we recommend a model from the nuSub series, such as the nuSub XW-700. Simply connect the nuPro SP-200 with the appropriate cables. This separates the speaker at 80 Hz.

Remote control
The remote control with metal surface is high-quality and clearly laid out. It provides quick access to the inputs, the volume, the DSP modes and the sound control. There is also a Bluetooth pairing button to connect the smartphone directly.
Wide mode and loudness switching
We have built in an adaptive loudness function to reproduce bass at full volume even at low volumes. A wide function is also integrated, which makes the sound of the sound pair appear more expansive. Your advantage: maximum sound with minimum space requirements.
Voice+ and tone control
Dialogue that is difficult to understand is a thing of the past thanks to our clever Voice+ function. You can adjust the bass range as well as the mids and highs. Your advantage: always sound to your taste.
Dolby and DTS integrated
Blu-rays, DVDs and streaming content usually come with a Dolby or DTS track that offers an acoustically harmonious mix. In our nuPro SP sets, we support these codecs and thus elicit the optimum sound from the data stream. Your advantage: better sound and less configuration on the TV.
Colours
Our nuPro SP models have an elaborate lacquer finish and a matt surface. The choice is yours: White for a discreet look in the living room or timeless black as a statement for the music room? The magnetic covers in shades of grey provide contrast and a discreet, elegant look.

The nuPro SP models comprise 2 models, the compact SP-200 and the floorstanding SP-500. The models are always a complete pair and therefore ready-to-use. Safety Instructions
The entire operating manual, in particular the safety instructions, must be read in full before connecting and commissioning the device. For your own safety, be sure to follow all warnings and safety instructions in this manual and on the speaker. The user is not permitted to carry out any work on the loudspeaker other than the described work. Keep this document so that you have access to it at all times. Furthermore, it must also be handed over to possible re-owners.
Intended Use
This speaker is designed exclusively for sound reproduction in dry rooms. Use the speaker only as described in this manual. Any other use (particularly safety-relevant or medical use, installation in open environments like IP-certified products) is considered improper and may result in property damage or even personal injury. Nubert electronic GmbH does not assume any liability for damages caused by improper use.
General Information
Never operate the loudspeaker unattended!
Danger of Electric Shock!
To avoid the risk of electric shock, the speaker may not be opened by the user. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the speaker. Service work and repairs are reserved for qualified specialists authorized by Nubert. If you need service, please contact Nubert electronic GmbH directly (info@nubert.de)!
Danger of Suffocation!
Never let children use or play with the speaker, remote control, or packaging unattended. There is a risk that children will get caught in the packaging film and suffocate. Make sure that children cannot remove any small parts from the devices! These parts, like the remote control battery, could be swallowed and cause suffocation. In case of swallowing any parts, contact a doctor immediately!
Danger of Injury or Damage!
When moving the speaker, take care to avoid injury and damage!
Caution!
Since the speaker can only be completely disconnected from the mains at the mains input on the rear of the unit or by pulling the mains plug from the socket, it must be positioned so that you have free access to the mains input or mains plug. If any of the following situations occurs, the loudspeaker must be switched off immediately and disconnected from the mains. Contact Nubert electronic GmbH (info@nubert.de) immediately:
- The speaker has been damaged or has fallen down.
- Power cord or plug is damaged.
- Objects or liquid have gotten into the loudspeaker.
- The speaker has been exposed to excessive moisture or rain.
- The speaker does not work properly or exhibits a significant reduction in performance.
- The loudspeaker smells burnt, develops smoke, or makes unusual noises.
Only use accessories recommended by Nubert!
Installation Instructions
Caution!
An unstable location can damage the speaker.
- Only place the loudspeaker on a flat, stable surface and make sure that it cannot be knocked over!
- Also make sure that no unintentional pulling can occur on the cables to avoid knocking over the speaker or damaging the connection sockets!
- Keep strong mechanical shocks away from the loudspeaker!
Caution!
Excessive heat build-up inside the unit can shorten its service life or lead to fire.
- Never cover the back of the speaker! Make sure that there is a clearance of at least 10 cm and sufficient air circulation in the back area!
- Do not operate the speaker and remote control near heat sources such as radiators or stoves!
- Do not expose the speaker and remote control to direct sunlight.
- Never place burning candles or similar open fire sources on the loudspeaker!
Danger of Explosion!
Installation in unsuitable locations can cause explosions. Do not use the speaker or remote control:
- in environments where there is a risk of fire or explosion!
- at extremely low or extremely high temperatures!
- near flammable gases or vapours!
- near strong dust!
- near flammable materials!
Danger of Electric Shock!
The loudspeaker carries mains voltage and voltages higher than 35 V AC or DC inside. It has no special protection against the intrusion of liquids or objects into the system. There is therefore a risk of lethal electric shock.
- Never touch the speaker with wet hands!
- Only use the speaker in a dry place!
- Do not operate it outdoors or in damp rooms!
- The loudspeaker must be protected from liquids of all kinds, including dripping and splashing water.
- Do not place any containers containing liquids (e.g., flower vases) on the speaker or in the immediate vicinity!
- If the loudspeaker is moved from a cold environment to a warm room, condensation may form inside the unit. Wait at least six hours until the loudspeaker has reached room temperature and is dry before switching it on!
- No objects of any kind may get into the device.
- Should the loudspeaker come into contact with liquids or should objects have gotten inside, please unplug the mains plug immediately and contact Nubert electronic GmbH (info@nubert.de)!
Danger of Injury or Damage!
For speakers with threaded bushings on the underside:
The threaded bushings may be used for upright mounting of the loudspeaker on suitable base plates or feet only. The threaded bushings on the underside of the loudspeaker enclosures are not designed for tensile loads and must therefore not be used as holders for hooks or similar devices in order to suspend the loudspeaker cabinet. A falling speaker may cause serious injury and damage.

General Connection Instructions
- Disconnect the mains plug before changing any wiring on the system!
- Make sure that all connections have been made correctly and that all plugs are firmly seated in the sockets before connecting the speaker to the mains.
- Use only the intended cables or plug connections for the connections! Failure to do so may result in damage or malfunction.
- If you want to disconnect connections on the loudspeaker, always pull the plug, never the cable!
- Ensure that all plugs are firmly seated in the sockets!
- Only use cables and accessories recommended by Nubert!
Danger of Electric Shock!
Faulty mains supply systems or excessive mains voltage can lead to electric shocks.
- All power supply or antenna systems connected to the loudspeaker must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and be professionally installed by an approved installation company.
- Use only the appropriate power cord to connect the speaker. Do not modify the power cord or its plug.
- Make sure that the mains voltage at your location matches the requirements of the loudspeaker! The correct power supply can be found on the label on the back of the speaker. It must not be connected to other power supplies.
- Devices of Class 1 construction must be connected to the mains power socket outlet with a protective earth connection. Make sure that the installation of the protective earth is carried out correctly!
- When laying the power cables, make sure that they cannot be damaged (e.g., by heating or mechanical stress)! Pay particular attention to the areas of the connectors and distributors!
Caution!
Overvoltage in the power supply system (e.g., due to lightning) can damage or destroy the device and power supply unit.
- An overvoltage protection element can provide a certain degree of protection against excessively high voltages in the power grid.
- However, the greatest possible protection against damage can only be achieved with the complete separation from the mains supply. In case of thunderstorms or danger of lightning strikes, disconnect the mains cable from the socket and any antenna plugs from your hi-fi system!
- If the speaker is not used for a long period of time or is unattended, the power supply should be disconnected. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket!
Remote Control and Battery
This product comes with a remote control and a battery. The following must be observed when handling remote controls and batteries:
- If the batteries are discharged, the range of the remote control will decrease significantly. If this happens, replace the batteries immediately.
- Always use high-quality CR2025 lithium button cells as replacement batteries.
- Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the battery into the battery compartment!
Caution!
Improper handling can lead to material damage.
- Do not drop the remote control!
- Do not expose the remote control and battery to water or other liquids!
- Do not operate or store the remote control and battery in locations with high humidity or particularly high or low temperature!
Danger!
Leaking or exploding batteries can pose a health hazard and cause damage to goods.
- If you do not use the device for a long time or if the batteries are depleted, remove the batteries from the remote control to prevent discharge, leakage of acid, or explosions.
- Leaking batteries must be replaced immediately.
- If you find a leaking battery, do not touch the leaking material and dispose of the batteries immediately!
- Do not touch leaking batteries!
- Should your skin, eyes, or mouth come into contact with the leaking material, clean the affected area immediately with water and contact a doctor!
Danger! Do Not Ingest Battery, Chemical Burn Hazard!
Ingestion of batteries can cause severe internal burns and death within a short time span.
- Ensure that batteries do not get into your body by any means, in particular that they cannot be swallowed!
- Keep new and used batteries away from children.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
- If you think that batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention!
Care and Cleaning Tips
Caution!
Improper handling of the speaker may result in damage.
- Always unplug the speaker before cleaning it!
- Before recommissioning, make sure that all connections are correct, that there are no short circuits, and that the speaker is completely dry.
- Never use strong cleaning agents or solvents such as petrol, spirit, or similar!
Enclosure
We recommend commercial window cleaner sprayed onto a cotton cloth. This allows almost all fingerprints and dust to be easily removed. Alternatively, you can also use window active foam.
We advise against the use of microfibre cloths! These can cause mini scratches in the surface.
Diaphragms and Speaker Chassis
To remove dust from a loudspeaker chassis, a lint-free cotton cloth is sufficient to wipe the membrane lightly with very little pressure.

der Hammer!
Ich habe diese Boxen gegen die Bose Companion PC Lautsprecher getauscht. Angeschlossen am PC über OPt. ergibt sich hier ein Soundvolumen das seines gleichen sucht. Der Unterschied ist brachial. Ich nutze diese Boxen zum Music hören, Zocken und Filme schauen. In allen Szenarien macht es einfach nur Laune zuzuhören. Und der Bass erst! Im loving it. Die Boxen sind das Geld wert!

Wow, mehr kann ich da nicht sagen. Bin beeindruckt, wie sauber der Ton ist und auch der Bass kann sich hören lassen. Der Kauf hat sich mehr als gelohnt.

Wahnsinn was Nubert da raus zaubert
Ich hab mir die Sp 200 eigentlich als Set mit dem xw 700 bestellt. Aber in meinem Raum benötige ich den Sub definitiv nicht. Was da an Kraft, Dynamik und Bass raus kommt hätte ich so nicht erwartet. Hatte davor ein paar Standlautsprecher einer guten Dänischen Marke mit einem separaten Verstärker was über das dreifache gekostet hat wie die nupro sp 200 und ich vermisse nichts. Im Gegenteil. Die Lautsprecher brauchen deutlich weniger Platz als die alten und ein Verstärker steht auch nicht mehr rum. Von mir gibt es eine Absolute Kaufempfehlung für die Lautsprecher.

Eine neue Dimension des Hörens
Habe zig Jahre Bluetooth Lautsprecher im unteren Preissegment benutzt. Sie waren schon gegenüber den SP-200 mickrig. Deshalb braucht man für die SP-200 schon ein großes Regal, damit die Teile Platz haben. Ich empfehle das tatsächlich im Vorfeld auszumessen. Mitgeliefert wird ein 3 m-Kabel für die Verbindung der Lautsprecher. Auch hier vorher ausmessen. Es wurde schon viel geschrieben. Möchte kurz meinen eigenen Eindruck vermitteln. Verarbeitung Super. Der Klang, die Dynamik, der hintergründige Bass sind für mich ganz neue Erfahrungen und Eindrücke. Auch wenn die Lautstärke mal aufgedreht wird, klingen sie überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Bass für die Teile gigantisch. Alle Töne kommen glasklar rüber. Preis-Leistung sehr gut. Für die meisten Wohnzimmer / Büros durchaus mehr als ausreichend. Von mir gibt es ein klares Super.

Box type and possible applications
The compact nuPro SP-200 active speakers are true multi-talents. In combination with a smartphone as a wireless Bluetooth player, they cut an excellent figure as a modern stereo system. One speaker on the left, the other on the right, plus power and connection cable - that's how uncomplicated hi-fi can be today. The nuPro SP-200s are equally at home on the desk, as desktop speakers on a Mac or PC, for video editing, music production or simply as high-quality multimedia speakers. Thanks to the HDMI/eARC port and the integrated decoding function for Dolby and DTS, the nuPro SP-200s are also an excellent alternative to a soundbar like our nuPro AS-3500. The compact speakers can be flexibly integrated into the living room and draw a wider stereo panorama than a sound deck. Wherever the nuPro speakers are used, practically all modern players can be connected to the various analogue and digital inputs, from the classic CD player to the games console.
Set-up and operation are as easy as can be. The nuPro SP speakers are delivered in pairs. The right speaker takes on the role of the master speaker, which controls the so-called client, i.e. the left speaker. You connect all source devices as well as the power cable to the master speaker, which you in turn link to the second speaker via the supplied connection cable (longer versions are optionally available). In this way, the two speakers form a stereo pair, which you can control either with the high-quality remote control supplied or with the rotary control on the front of the master. A ring of multicoloured LEDs serves as a status indicator that is easy to see even from a distance and in bright rooms.
The nuPro SP-200's many functions include bass and treble control, a loudness circuit that increases the bass pressure at low volumes, as well as the innovative "Voice+" mode and Nubert's tried-and-tested "listening zone expansion". The latter is particularly impressive in music reproduction because it makes the stereo stage appear even more three-dimensional and wider without distorting the sound image. The Voice+ mode, on the other hand, is primarily suitable for films and TV programmes, where it brings out speech from the rest of the sound and thus ensures better understandable dialogue.
The secret of the excellent sound of the nuPro SP-200 lies in the innovative digital amplifier technology. Because all sound signals are processed completely digitally and in high resolution all the way to the output, there is no noise such as the idling hiss familiar from some active speakers. In addition, the power amplifiers of the nuPro SP-200 are highly efficient. Both tweeters have a rated power of 20 watts each, the two woofers even rely on 40-watt power amplifiers. This means that the nuPro SP-200s are by no means only suitable as near-field monitors, but are also convincing at greater listening distances with their powerful output.
With the rounded edges of the cabinets made of acoustically advantageous wood fiber material, the silky matt sanded finish and the magnetically adhering fabric covers, the nuPro SP-200s are emphatically homely. If you prefer a more technical charm, simply remove the fabric covers. Available in black or white, the compact speakers harmonize with very different furniture and interior styles. The nuPro SP-200s are ideal on their own stands or mounts such as our BS-652, but the compact speakers also feel at home on work tables, lowboards or shelves.

Design principle and housing
The nuPro SP-200s are two fully active two-way speakers that can be connected to form a stereo pair. All audio sources are connected to the master speaker (the right speaker), which houses the signal processing, control and amplifier modules and controls the client (left). Single or mono operation of the speakers is not intended.
The integrated digital amplifier provides two times 20 watts for the two tweeter paths (left/right) and two times 40 watts for the midrange/woofer branches. The music output is two times 30 and 60 watts respectively. The sound signal first passes through the active DSP crossover and is then passed on to the amplifier modules. This enables a precise separation and linearisation of the frequency ranges, which is particularly beneficial for low bass reproduction.
The cabinets of both speakers are made of acoustically advantageous and robust wood fibre boards (MDF), which are beautifully rounded at the cross edges and sealed with a high-quality sanding lacquer in the colours black or white. The bass reflex ports are located on the rear of both speakers.
To emphasise the homely feel of the nuPro SP-200, two magnetically adhering covers are supplied, covered in mottled grey acoustic fabric. If you prefer a more technical, clean look, you can of course operate the speakers without the protective covers.
Suitable stands for the nuPro SP-200 are available in our accessories range. Alternatively, the operation is also possible in a shelf (with sufficient distance), on a lowboard or a similar piece of furniture. Self-adhesive plastic feet are included to decouple the speaker from the floor.
Chassis
The 15-centimetre chassis of the nuPro SP-200, which covers the mid/bass range, has already proven its worth in the models of the nuPro-X series. Thanks to its modern polypropylene cone, its wide excursion, its powerful magnet drive and effective cooling, it shines with impressive performance values that reveal themselves in outstanding impulse fidelity, impressive load stability and a profound bass response. This helps the nuPro SP-200 to achieve an astonishingly wide reproduction range, right down to the lower cut-off frequency of 46 Hertz (at minus three decibels).
The tweeter with its silk fabric dome tweeter with a diameter of 25 millimetres is also used in the bigger sisters of the nuPro X series. Among other things, it is characterised by a particularly wide, even dispersion, fine resolution in the upper frequency range and effective damping. Thus, the nuPro SP-200 shines with a detailed but harmonious high-frequency reproduction, even at higher levels.
Operation and setting options
The nuPro SP-200s can be controlled either with the included remote control or via a rotary knob on the master speaker. A multi-coloured LED ring illuminates the control knob and provides information about the operating mode and settings in both cases.
The remote control is characterised by its high-quality exterior, its ergonomic shape and its pleasant weight. It offers quick access to all settings, from volume control to source selection and sound tuning. Alternatively, the most important options can also be accessed via the precise rotary knob on the right speaker. If the nuPro SP-200s are connected to the (e)ARC port of a TV via HDMI, the volume can also be adjusted via the TV remote control.
Tone control
The SP sound pair's many adjustment options include a convenient tone control that can boost or attenuate bass and treble response. An adaptive loudness circuit improves low-frequency imaging at low levels, if desired.
The "Voice+" sound mode, which intensifies the voice reproduction and thus ensures better speech intelligibility, is particularly useful for films and TV programmes. In contrast, the multi-level "Audible Zone Expansion" ("Wide" on the remote control) offers a broader stereo effect and a more vivid stage image, primarily for music reproduction, without distorting the sound character of the recording.
Connections and decoding
There are four audio connections on the back of the master speaker. The analogue RCA input and the two digital inputs (one optical, one electrical) connect classic hi-fi players, entertainment systems and home cinema devices. The HDMI port is recommended for connection to a TV set, projector or AV receiver with a suitable ARC or eARC output, which transmits control commands in addition to audio signals. An external subwoofer can be operated at the sub-out to increase the low bass or sound pressure of the bass reproduction. In this case, the speaker is automatically operated with a crossover frequency of 80 Hertz.
Mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops can be paired wirelessly with the nuPro speakers via Bluetooth. Thanks to support for aptX HD (for Android devices) and AAC (for iOS devices) as well as aptX Low Latency, the signal is transmitted in high-resolution quality and with the shortest possible delay.
The nuPro SP-200s not only reproduce sound in PCM format, but also decode Dolby Digital (AC3) and DTS Digital Surround. This means that the speakers optimally prepare sound tracks from Blu-ray discs, DVDs or streaming videos for stereo playback. If necessary, the correct format, the correct output and the ARC function must be activated on the source player.
Energy
The nuPro SP-200s are equipped with a convenient automatic energy-saving feature that switches the speakers on independently or puts them into power-saving standby mode when not in use. When connected via HDMI/eARC, the active speakers follow the activation commands of the source device. In stand-by mode, which can also be activated manually via the remote control or the rotary control, the speakers consume less than 0.5 watts. If desired, the system can be completely disconnected from the mains by means of a rocker switch. The wide-range power supply allows these active speakers to be used with mains voltages of 110/120 or 230/240 volts.
