The nuPro XI-2000 RC is a particularly flexible and clever Nubert innovation. The nuConnect X Surround is not only a flexible in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeaker with a powerful power amplifier, but also a particularly elegant lighting element that can be conveniently controlled via Zigbee 3.0. The minimalist front without screws is ideal for any living environment, but the focus is clearly on high acoustic performance. This is why no full range driver is used here, but genuine 3-way technology with silk dome tweeter, aluminium midrange driver and PP woofer. The nuPro XI-2000 RC can be easily combined with all active loudspeakers and subs from the Nubert portfolio. It is conveniently controlled via the X-Remote app.
Ceiling installation
The nuPro XI-2000 RC is the ideal partner for 3D audio. Directly connected wirelessly to the nuPro XS-8500 RC or nuXinema preAV, up to four ceiling speakers ensure full immersion with Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. Your next film will be a highlight.
Surround speakers
The XI-2000 RC also cuts a fine figure when integrated into a rear or side wall. Combined with the nuXinema preAV or nuPro XS-8500 RC, it creates a captivating surround sound almost invisibly.
Stereo solution with optional subwoofer
In stereo mode, the XI-2000 RC can be used as a high-quality active built-in speaker. With Bluetooth aptX HD and low latency, smartphones or smart TVs can be connected and take over the volume control. A subwoofer such as the nuSub XW-800 slim can extend the bass range wirelessly.
Additional ambient lighting
The XI-2000 RC can supplement the existing room lighting with pleasant ambient lighting - individually, in pairs or as a larger group. The smart home control via Zigbee 3.0 also allows the existing power connection to be used for several devices and conveniently controlled with new control elements.

Smart light with Zigbee 3.0
In addition to its main function as a loudspeaker, the nuPro XI-2000 RC is also an exciting addition to your room lighting and offers pleasant ambient lighting in warm white (2700K). It can be controlled via our Nubert X-Remote or via Zigbee 3.0 with any smart gateway. The XI-2000 RC light can even be controlled via voice control as an option.
X-Connect Surround
The X-Connect Surround standard allows the wireless transmission of up to 8 channels; ideal for setting up surround systems. The nuPro XI-2000 RC also supports this standard and can therefore be easily connected to the nuPro XS-8500 RC or nuXinema preAV. For further information see here
X-Remote
The Nubert X-Remote app is ideal for control. It works with the energy-saving Bluetooth LE standard and provides access to all the functions of your speaker. Your advantage: Full control at all times.
X-Room Calibration
Your smartphone is also the centrepiece of our X-Room Calibration measurement function, which automatically corrects the bass by ± 6dB with fully parametric equalisers in the range from 20 to 160 Hz. On iOS devices, the internal microphone is used for the calculations; on Android devices, the additional XRC Android Interface microphone is required due to different hardware equipment. Your benefit: Better bass reproduction for your listening position.
Color and installation
Our nuPro XI-2000 RC is black with a white front panel. As a built-in speaker, it blends unobtrusively into the living room. This makes it ideal for dry walls or ceilings where the focus is on sound as well as appearance.
Design
The trend is towards greater integration into living spaces and a more discreet look for loudspeakers. We take this into account with our built-in speaker: The clean front with gentle curves without visible screws allows discreet installation.

General Information
Never operate the device unattended!
Risk of Electric Shock!
To avoid the risk of electric shock, the device must not be opened by the user. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Service and repairs must be performed by qualified professionals authorized by Nubert. For service cases, please contact Nubert electronic GmbH directly!
Risk of Suffocation!
Never leave children unattended with the device or packaging materials! Children could become entangled in the packaging film and suffocate. Ensure that children cannot remove small parts from the devices! These parts could be swallowed and pose a choking hazard. If any parts are swallowed, contact a doctor immediately!
Risk of Injury or Damage!
When moving the device, handle it with the necessary caution to avoid injuries or damage!
Warning!
Since the device can only be completely disconnected from the power supply by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker, it must be positioned to ensure free access to the power plug or circuit breaker. If any of the following conditions occur, turn off the device immediately and disconnect it from the power supply. Contact Nubert electronic GmbH without delay!
- The device has been damaged or has fallen.
- The power cord or plug is damaged.
- Objects or liquids have entered the device.
- The device has been exposed to excessive moisture or rain.
- The device is not functioning properly or shows significant performance issues.
- The device emits a burning smell, smoke, or unusual noises.

Installation Instructions
This device must be installed in compliance with local, state, federal, and industrial regulations. It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that the installation of the device and its mounting system complies with all applicable regulations, including local building codes. Danger!
Unsafe mounting or suspension above head height or installation in unsuitable areas can result in severe injuries, fatalities, or property damage. It is the responsibility of the installer to evaluate the reliability of the mounting method for their application. Only attempt to install this device if you have the appropriate knowledge and hardware. If unsure about the installation, consult a qualified professional installer. - Ensure the mounting surface is stable and capable of securely supporting the device!
- Do not install the device on surfaces or areas where hazards like electrical wiring or pipes may be concealed behind.
- The device must be installed only on non-combustible surfaces.
- Avoid exposing the device to strong mechanical shocks!
- Do not expose the device to chemical substances such as mineral oil, lubricants, or cleaning agents, as these can degrade the plastic. Degraded plastic may become unstable, posing a fall hazard.

Excessive heat buildup inside the device can shorten its lifespan or cause a fire.
- Never cover the device's cooling fins or ventilation openings! The device is not suitable for covering with thermal insulation material.
- Do not operate the device near heat sources such as radiators or stoves!
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
- Never place burning candles or similar open flames in the vicinity of the device.
Risk of Electric Shock!
The device operates with internal mains voltage and may contain voltages exceeding 35 V AC or DC in certain areas. It is not specially protected against the ingress of liquids or objects. This poses a risk of fatal electric shock.
- Never touch the device with wet hands!
- Use the device only in a dry location!
- Do not operate it outdoors or in damp rooms!
- Protect the device from liquids of all kinds, including dripping and splashing water.
- Do not place containers with liquids (e.g., flower vases) on or near the device!
- If the device is brought from a cold to a warm environment, condensation may form inside. Wait at least 4 hours before turning it on to ensure it has reached room temperature and is dry!
- Avoid using the device during rapid temperature changes!
- Do not allow objects or foreign materials to enter the device or touch its electronics or electrical components.
- If the device comes into contact with liquids or if objects enter the interior, disconnect it from the power supply immediately and contact Nubert electronic GmbH.
Connection Instructions
General Connection Instructions
- Unplug the power cord before making any changes to the system wiring!
- Ensure all connections are correctly made and all plugs are firmly seated before connecting the device to the power supply!
- Use only the designated cables and connectors for connections! Otherwise, damage or malfunctions may occur.
- When disconnecting connections on the device, always pull on the plug, never the cable!
- Ensure all plugs are firmly seated and tightly screwed into their sockets!
- Use only cables and accessories recommended by Nubert!
Warning!
Power surges (e.g., caused by lightning strikes) can damage or destroy the device and its power supply unit.
- A surge protection element can provide some safety against excessive voltages in the power grid.
- Maximum safety can only be achieved by completely disconnecting your devices from the power grid and antenna systems. In case of thunderstorms or risk of lightning strikes, disconnect any antenna plugs from your HiFi system and interrupt the power supply, e.g., by switching off the circuit breaker!
- If the device will not be used for an extended period or will be unattended, the power supply should be disconnected. Unplug the power cord or switch off the circuit breaker!
Care and Cleaning Tips

Improper handling of the device may cause damage.
- Always ensure the device is disconnected from the power supply before cleaning!
- Clean the device only with a dry, soft cotton cloth.
- Do not allow the device to come into contact with soap, mineral oil, alcohol, or other chemical cleaning agents or substances!
- Before resuming operation, ensure all connections are correctly made, no short circuits are present, and the device is completely dry.

nuPro XI-2000 RC - Ein Traum
Hallo zusammen, und wieder muss ich etwas loswerden ;-) Nach dem ich mir die "nuPro XS-8500 RC" und die "XS 3000 RX" als Rear und dann doch noch den "nuSub XW-900" zugelegt habe, wollte ich auch noch was an die Decke hängen. Gesagt getan, gestern kamen dann die beiden "nuPro XI-2000 RC" incl. dem passenden Gehäuse Set. Zum Gehäuse kann man sagen das alles vorhanden ist was Mann/Frau braucht, ob Einbau oder zum Abhängen, es fehlt nichts, einfach nur TOP. Wie immer war alles Top verpackt, da macht sogar das auspacken Spaß.....grins. Schnell die 4 Löcher in die Decke Dübel rein....................und dann ein Loch im System....OHA..... Nubert geht davon aus das dort wo die Boxen hinkommen auch das Kabel ist, das ist aber nicht so, es ist mir echt schwer gefallen ein Loch in den Anschlussring zu bohren das ich seitlich das Stromkabel reinziehen kann, aber schwubs war das Loch drin. Ab jetzt ging alles sehr schnell, einfach eine TOP Sache, ich habe alles alleine hinbekommen, es war keine helfende Hand nötig. Angeschlossen und gestaunt.......ich hätte nie gedacht das die zwei Dinger an der Decke so viel Spaß machen. Natürlich wieder alles schön eingemessen. Ab jetzt regnet es in meinem Kino ohne das ich nass werde ;-) Auch wenn viele meinen das die XI-2000 RC viel Geld kosten, glaubt mir jeden Cent wert. Es grüßt Michael
