Truly powerful of voice
The nuVero 70 is much more than a centre speaker. It was consistently developed for the reproduction of speech and music. The result is a speaker with a double D'Appolito arrangement and three-way system for wide dispersion. With 38 Hz lower cut-off frequency, it is not only the ideal complement for our floorstanding speakers in surround, but also a first-class stereo speaker.
More language

Tweeter
With the nuVero 70 the tweeter is coupled to the midrange at 1900 Hz. The tweeter of the nuVero series is designed for the widest possible dispersion. In combination with the optimised front plate, the dispersion is even wider. Your advantage: Larger sweet spot and wider stage coverage for a more authentic sound experience.
Midrange speaker
The midrange driver of the nuVero series is based on BMR (Balanced Mode Radiator) technology, which allows less intermodulation and a wider dispersion. In the nuVero 70 it operates in the range of 370 and 1900 Hz. Your advantage: More details in speech and instruments with a higher dynamic range at the same time.
Woofer
The woofer of the nuVero 70 works seamlessly below the midrange driver. It enables precise and voluminous low-frequency reproduction. Thanks to the ultra-longstroke technology in combination with a bass reflex port, the compact speaker achieves a lower cut-off frequency of 38 Hz. Your advantage: Unrivalled low-frequency sound for the available enclosure volume.
Crossover
The crossover is the heart of the nuVero 70. Elaborate components ensure exact reproduction and linear sound. The switches on the back directly influence the crossover, allowing seamless switching between sound modes. In addition, protective circuits are implemented on the crossover to protect the drivers in case of overload.
Colours
Our nuVero series is a real eye-catcher. The cabinet is coated with Nextel® in black or white. This lacquer has a matt and velvety surface that can set accents both visually and haptically. The front is lacquered metallic in the colours ruby red, diamond black and crystal white.
Design
In the nuVero series, the appearance follows the optimal sound reproduction. The curved and wider baffle compared to the cabinet width ensures reduced edge dispersion and a wider dispersion pattern. At the same time, the elegant curves make for a more living-room-friendly design, so the grille has the same radius as the baffle.

Aus der Mitte
Als es so weit war und ich mich fragte, welcher Center Speaker sich wohl einfügen möge (zwischen die nuVero 140, siehe dort meinen Kommentar), hatte ich das große Glück auch hier vom nervenstarken Simon Hinsenhofen (Duisburg) davon abgehalten worden zu sein, eine "Nummer kleiner" zu wählen... Die nuVero 70 ist ein Schallwandler, der eine wirklich beachtliche Leistung zu Ohren bringt - und damit meine ich nicht die Lautstärke, sondern die Akkuratesse. Diese einzufordern mag bei der Sprache (hier: Bewegtbilder) sicher berechtigt sein, ich möchte aber an dieser Stelle darauf hinaus, dass es ebenfalls mehrkanalige Audioproduktionen gibt - auch mch-SACD - die es Wert sein könnten mit einem Center Speaker in den Raum gebracht zu werden, der mit der gegebenenfalls vorliegenden Qualität jener Aufnahme auf Ohrenhöhe ist (ich finde "Augenhöhe" ist irgendwie nicht das korrekte Wort). Sollte jemand dieses Problem kennen oder haben und dem Verstärker nicht die Schuld in die Schuhe schieben will, dem mag ich die nuVero 70 dringend empfehlen.

Vollendet - Ehrliche Lautsprecher
Im Dezember 2021 habe ich mir endlich meinen Traum verwirklicht und meine in die Jahre gekommene Surroundlautsprecher gegen nubert-Lautsprecher ausgetauscht. Nachdem meine Frau bei der Größe der Lautsprecher mitreden wollte einigten wir uns letztendlich auf ein für mich gerade noch tragbares Ergebnis. Das kann sich aber Dank nubert und seinen ehrlichen Lautsprechern sehen lassen. Sie fügen sich perfekt in unsere Einrichtung ein. Wirken nicht aufdringlich, ganz im Gegenteil, sie strahlen Eleganz aus und werten unser Wohnzimmer auf. Ich habe mich für die Variante kristallweiß entschieden. Der nextel-Korpus ist vor der weißen Wand quasi unsichtbar und das Metallic-Klangsegel mit oder ohne Abdeckung ist ein echter Hingucker. Lange hab ich überlegt ob es die nuVero 70 oder nuVero 50 als Center werden soll. Ich hatte Angst, dass die Ausmaße unser Sideboard "erschlagen". Ich habe mich letztendlich für die nuVero 70 entschieden, weil mir bei Dolby Atmos eine besonders perfekte Stimmenwiedergabe sehr wichtig war. Und die nuVero 70 kann das ohne Abschläge. Auch das Sideboard wurde nicht abgewertet. Als Standlautsprecher kam die nuVero 110 zum Zug. Wie gesagt, ich musste einen Größenkompromiss eingehen. Ich finde aber, dass sie die Stereowiedergabe, trotz ihrer Größe, perfekt beherrscht. Als Surroundlautsprecher kommt die nuVero 50 zum Einsatz. Im gesamten eine für mich sehr gelungene Zusammenstellung. Ich bin vom Klangerlebnis und dem Zusammenspiel meiner Schätzchen total fasziniert. nubert kann das! Bin sehr glücklich mit meiner neuen Anlage. Möchte sie nicht mehr missen! Auf ein Subwoofer habe ich bewusst verzichtet. Meine Einzelkomponenten: Standlautsprecher: nuVero 110 Center: nuVero 70 Surround: nuVero 50 Angetrieben werden die Lautsprecher vom Pioneer SC-LX-901. Der kann HiRes und das hört man. Ich streame über Apple TV 4K, aktuell (leider) nur bis ALAC. Bin aber zuversichtlich, dass Apple auch HiRes schaffen wird. Hatte davor Qobuz. Hier hat mich aber Chromecast geärgert.

Mein Bester
Über die letzten (über) 20 Jahre hatte ich schon einiges gehört, sei es von Nubert, oder auch von anderen Herstellern (Zuhause, bei Freunden, Hifi Geschäfte, Hifi Messen usw.). Gemessen an Preis/Leistung ist für mich der nuVero 70 Centerspeaker der beste den ich je zuhause hatte oder anderswo gehört habe. Wenn die Stimme des Drachen bei "DER HOBBIT" ertönt, ist das so dermassen raumfüllend und druckvoll, da bekomme ich immer eine Gänsehaut. Das ist aber nur ein Beispiel von vielen, der Center fügt sich so sauber in das Set ein, weshalb mein nuVero Gespann aus nuVero 110, 70, 30 und 50, jederzeit wie aus einem Guss spielt.

nuVero 110
Wie immer und wie gewohnt Qualität, Preis-Leistung und Lieferung von Nubert Top. Ich bin von nuLine auf nuVero umgestiegen, das hat sich gelohnt. Hatte die nuLine 284 u. CS-174 die spielten schon ganz oben mit. Aber die nuVero 110 u. nuVero 70 spielen in einer ganz anderen Liga. Habe noch die WS-14, aber das ändert sich dieses Jahr noch, alles auf nuVero. Mit Wums durch dieses Corona Jahr und das wir es hinter uns lassen und es wieder aufwärts geht. In diesen Sinne ein großes Dankeschön an alle Nubert Mitarbeiter und bleiben sie gesund. Box type and recommendations for use
The heart of every high-quality surround sound system is the centre speaker. It has the important task of reproducing speech, effects and music clearly and concisely. The nuVero 70 meets this requirement with flying colours: thanks to its wide dispersion pattern, it creates a particularly wide "sweet spot" in which the best speech intelligibility is guaranteed. With the help of a sound selector switch, the nuVero 70 can be optimised for placement close to the wall, for example, under a flat-screen TV or projector screen.
A second setting enables free-standing operation, so that the nuVero 70 can also shine upright in a stereo configuration, for example. With a suitable stand, the nuVero 70 is a slim alternative to the floorstanding models of the nuVero series. The D'Appolito arrangement of the two midrange and woofer drivers around the dome tweeter ensures an excellent sound image in any case.
So the nuVero 70 is recommended for home cinema enthusiasts as well as demanding music fans.

Tweeter
Designed from the ground up, the silk fabric dome extends the phenomenal resolving power of the speaker even further, achieving unprecedented transparency and audibility in the upper frequency range.
Midrange speaker
The nuVero 70 relies on two compact midrange drivers with an effective diaphragm diameter of only 52 millimetres, which are characterised by excellent omnidirectional sound dispersion. The flat diaphragm chassis is supported by a torsion-resistant die-cast aluminium basket with generous ventilation openings. Thanks to the powerful neodymium drive and the resilient voice coil, impressive levels can be achieved despite the small size.
Woofer
The woofers use a glass-fibre cone in sandwich construction, which produces amazingly deep and powerful bass due to its extremely wide excursion. The powerful magnet system guarantees enormous low-frequency performance and precision, especially in the lowest frequency range. The two 150-millimetre drivers have a die-cast aluminium basket and a generously ventilated voice coil that eliminates flow noise.
Crossover
The crossover network optimally controls the drivers used. The filter network relies on high-quality components, including film capacitors with tight tolerances and long-term stability. A sophisticated protection circuit cuts the amplifier current to the chassis and crossover in the event of an impending overload and then automatically resets itself to normal operation.
Sound options
This loudspeaker is equipped with sound selector switches that allow the dispersion behaviour to be adjusted to the environment or personal taste with a simple flick of the wrist. The bass reduction offered is recommended for placement close to the wall to avoid an exaggeration of low frequencies due to unwanted reflections.
Connection terminal
The extremely solid, gold-plated screw terminals of the bi-wiring terminal are also suitable for cables with a very large cross-section. Bi-wiring terminals allow the tweeter and low/midrange to be connected separately to the amplifier. A measure that can prevent sound losses with long cable lengths.
Housing and design
The cabinet of the nuVero 70 centre speaker is made of acoustically advantageous fibreboard (MDF) and has been elaborately braced and damped to avoid disturbing resonances. The elegantly curved sound sail on the front not only enriches the appearance, but also minimises sound-damaging edge dispersion in the midrange and treble range. The removable protective grille is securely fastened with spacers using tried-and-tested rubber bushings. Matching colour covers for the bushings are available as accessories on request.
