The REKKORD F400 is a fully automatic sub-chassis turntable that is not only convincing in terms of sound, but is also a real eye-catcher. The entire automatic system as well as the tone arm and the damped aluminium platter are built on a floating subchassis platform that is decoupled from the rest of the chassis. The F400 features a massless tracking system that optimises the centre of gravity directly in the storage centre.
The automatic system is adjusted and refined by experienced technicians and is based on a highly complex mechanism that has been traditionally perfected and refined over decades.
The pre-adjusted high-quality Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is mounted on a carbon-fibre-reinforced headshell, which provides the perfect connection to the aluminium tonearm. The 2M Red is an all-purpose cartridge that delivers an open and dynamic sound with a slight hint of warmth.
The chassis is made of MDF and is available in 4 different finishes: satin black, high gloss black and real wood veneers cherry or macassar.
Cable, dust cover and a single adapter are supplied with the turntable.
