Surround systems: discover a new soundscape
Music can be used to convey a wide range of emotions. We dance to lush beats full of joy in our living rooms or get all sentimental with ballads. Film music makes use of the same effect. What's more, playing different sound information creates a spatial effect that catapults us as viewers right into the centre of the action. Surround sound creates an even more immersive experience than stereo sound. To reproduce it with powerful sound, you need a suitable surround sound system.
How surround sound works
With stereo sound, the sound information comes from two loudspeakers. Songs or background music take on a spatial character when the speakers form an isosceles triangle with the listener. Surround sound reinforces the impression by using additional speakers that distribute the sound even further. You place them not only in front of you, but also next to and behind you so that you can also hear sounds from there. Accordingly, surround systems usually have a higher number of speakers.
Application range of the surround systems
With your new surround speakers, you can of course listen to your favourite music crystal clear on a new level. For film and series enthusiasts, this also opens up completely new possibilities in your own home cinema system. Surround systems are therefore often available as a set. This allows you to immerse yourself in the middle of the action and experience it, instead of just having the scenes presented to you from one direction.
Traditionally, a 5.1 system is used. This means that you set up five speakers and a subwoofer for the bass. However, various configurations are possible: from 2.1 to 7.1.4.

Wall-mounted loudspeaker
If you don't want to stand your speakers upright or don't have the space for them, then choose our wall-mounted speakers. They are quick to install and promise a great sound experience. The two-way speakers faithfully reproduce the entire spectrum. Some of the speakers can also be used as free-standing speakers.
Bookshelf speakers
Just like wall speakers, shelf speakers are a good solution if your living room is smaller. As their name suggests, you place them on your shelf or on a sideboard. Some models have an additional tweeter at the back in addition to the front drivers. This enables dipole operation, which enhances the spatial effect. This is a particularly interesting option when used as a rear speaker.
Centre speaker
Centre speakers form the middle of your speaker system. Place them directly under your television, for example. They are primarily responsible for the centre channel, through which the voice output is reproduced. They should therefore be of the highest possible quality so that you can follow the dialogue with ease. All of our models are characterised by excellent mid-range reproduction and even dispersion characteristics.
