An authentic analogue turntable with belt drive and balanced XLR output
Supporting a balanced MC output, this analogue turntable features a hybrid cabinet that combines synthetic marble, washi paper and MDF materials, and a 9-inch S-shaped universal arm that uses a knife-edge bearing. Turntables are the stages to highlight the passion of artists and the magic of their engineers that went into records.
With jet black synthetic marble and piano black MDF, the TN-5BB is a truly worthy stage that achieves both functional suppression of unwanted vibrations and a stately and modern design. By using the built-in XLR jacks in conjunction with a phono amplifier that supports a balanced connection, the slightest signals transmitted by the cartridge can be restored with even greater intensity.
The razor-sharp tonearm, a SAEC × TEAC collaboration, is another component that further enhances this musical stage. The 20 mm thick acrylic platter is driven by our original Platter Rotation Sensing Servo System (PRS3).
