Critical Safety Precautions

These precautions alert you to the possibility of death or serious injury to yourself or others.

If You Notice Any Abnormality

• If any of the following abnormalities occur, immediately shut down the power:
  • The power cord or plug becomes damaged.
  • Unusual smells, noises, or smoke are emitted from the product.
  • An object or some water has been dropped into the product.
  • Cracks or other damage appear on the product.
  • There is a sudden loss of sound during use of the product.
• Steps to shut down the power:
  1. Turn off the power to this product.
  2. Disconnect the power cord plug from the AC outlet.
• Continuing to use the product in this state may result in fire, electrical shock, or further damage. Request immediate inspection or repair.

Power Supply

• Do not damage the power cord:
  • Do not place the power cord near heat sources such as heaters.
  • Do not forcefully bend or modify the power cord.
  • Do not place heavy objects on the power cord or staple it.
  Using a frayed power cord with the core wire exposed may result in fire, electrical shock, or damage to the product.
• During lightning or electrical storms, avoid touching this product, the power plug, or the power cord to prevent electrical shock.
• Use the voltage specified for this product. Using an incorrect voltage may result in fire, electrical shock, or product damage.
• Regularly check the power cord plug and clean any accumulated dirt or dust to prevent fire or electrical shock.
• Fully insert the power cord plug into the AC outlet to avoid electrical shock, fire, or short circuit-related damage.
• Ensure the AC outlet is visible and easily accessible for quick disconnection in case of malfunction or emergencies.
• If the product will not be used for an extended period, remove the power cord plug from the AC outlet to prevent fire or damage.

Do Not Disassemble

• Do not modify or disassemble this product to avoid fire, electrical shock, injury, or damage to the product.

Water Warning

• Do not use this product in damp or wet conditions, such as bathrooms or rainy outdoor locations.
• Do not place containers with liquids (e.g., vases or medicine bottles) on this product. Spilled liquid may cause fire, electrical shock, or damage.
• Avoid inserting or removing the power cord plug from the AC outlet with wet hands. Do not handle the product with wet hands to prevent electrical shock or damage.

Fire Warning

Handling

• Do not drop this product or apply strong impact to it. Otherwise, fire, electrical shock, or damage to the product may result.

Batteries

• Do not swallow batteries.
• Keep batteries away from children.
  • If swallowed, batteries can cause serious chemical burns or tissue damage within two hours, potentially leading to death. Consult a physician immediately if this occurs.
• Do not throw batteries into an open fire.
• Do not expose batteries to high temperatures such as direct sunlight or open flames. This can cause them to explode, resulting in fire or injury.
• If battery liquid leaks, do not touch it.
  • If contact occurs, wash the affected area with water immediately and consult a physician. Battery liquid can cause vision loss or chemical burns.
• Only use the specified type of batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
• Always insert batteries according to the indicated polarity.
• Do not break down batteries.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable dry cell batteries.
  • Charging such batteries may cause explosions or leaks, leading to fires, burns, loss of vision, or inflammation.
• Do not carry batteries in pockets or bags alongside metal objects to avoid short circuits that may result in explosions or leaks, causing fire, loss of vision, or injuries.
• If not using the product for an extended period, or if the batteries are discharged, remove them from the device to prevent leaks and potential damage or injuries.
• Before storing or discarding batteries, tape over their connectors to insulate them and prevent contact with other batteries or metallic objects.

Wireless Unit

• Do not use this product in areas where radio waves are restricted, such as near medical devices. Otherwise, emitted radio waves may interfere with medical equipment operation.
• Maintain at least a 15 cm (6 in) distance between this product and individuals with pacemaker or defibrillator implants to prevent interference with their functionality.

Precautions to Prevent Physical Injury

Power Supply

• Do not use an AC outlet where the power cord plug fits loosely or wiggles.
  • Otherwise, fire, electrical shock, or burns may be caused.
• When unplugging the power cord, always hold the plug itself and not the cord.
  • Otherwise, the power cord may be damaged, resulting in fire or electrical shock.

Installation

• Do not place this product in an unstable position or location subject to vibration.
  • Otherwise, the product may fall or tip over, causing injuries or damage.
• Ensure proper ventilation when installing the product:
  • Do not cover the product with a cloth or table cloth.
  • Do not install the product on a carpet or rug.
  • Do not block the vents (heat dissipation slits).
  • Ensure the product's top surface faces up; do not install it on its side or upside down.
  • Avoid using the product in a confined, poorly ventilated space.

  Inadequate ventilation may cause overheating, potentially leading to damage, fire, or malfunction. Ensure at least 30 cm above, 20 cm on the sides, and 20 cm behind the product.

• Follow installation instructions in the owner's manual to ensure proper setup.
  • Failure to do so may result in the product falling or tipping over, causing injuries or damage.
• During earthquakes, stay away from the product to prevent injuries from falling or tipping over.
• Avoid installing the product in places exposed to salt air, corrosive gases, oily fumes, or steam to prevent injuries or damage.
• Turn off the power switch and disconnect all cables before moving the product.
  • Otherwise, cables might catch, causing the product to fall or tip over, resulting in injuries or damage.

Connections

• Read and follow the owner's manual for all devices you plan to connect to this product.
  • Failure to follow instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

Hearing Loss

• Avoid exposure to high-volume sound for extended periods.
  • Prolonged exposure can result in hearing loss. Consult a physician if you experience hearing abnormalities.
• Before connecting this product to other devices, turn off the power to all devices.
  • Otherwise, hearing loss, electrical shock, or damage to the product may result.
• Do not set the volume level too high before turning on the power to this product. Reduce the volume levels of all connected devices before turning off the power.
  • Failure to do so may result in hearing loss or damage to the product.

Power Amplifier Usage

• When powering on the audio system:
  • Turn on the power amplifier LAST.
• When powering off the audio system:
  • Turn off the power amplifier FIRST.

Failure to follow this order may result in hearing loss or damage to the product.

Maintenance

• Before cleaning the product, disconnect the power cord plug from the AC outlet.
  • Failure to do so may result in electrical shock.

Handling

• Avoid touching surfaces labeled with heat warnings during use.
  • These surfaces may become hot and cause burns.
• Do not allow foreign objects, such as metal or paper, to enter any gaps or openings in the product.
  • Doing so may cause fire, electrical shock, or damage to the product.
• Keep small parts out of reach of infants.
