hello, i'd like to write something so that this doesn't turn into a pure adulation. i had an 880 subwoofer a long time ago and was very dissatisfied with it. it couldn't distinguish a thunderstorm from a plucked double bass side, no matter what setting. i tried everything: spikes, damping the bass reflex port, other main speakers, another room, etc....
nothing to be done. conclusion: unsuitable for music, at least if you want to hear it precisely. it was a pure rumble. admittedly, the apartment shook, but that can't be the goal. at least not with music.
in addition, the 880 hummed to fill the room. all the tips from the technician I called did nothing to change this. most subwoofers hum a little, but not as loudly as the nubert. overall, of the 10 subwoofers I tested, it was the most expensive and the second worst in terms of sound quality. it really makes you wonder how the good test results come about...
when i wanted to send it back i had to realize that this is only possible with ups (because of the size and weight). it cost me half a day of vacation because i had to have it picked up (no possibility to return it)
positive: the service: hard-working and friendly staff. the visual finish was very good. my conclusion: next time i buy, i'd rather listen to what i want to buy in the store. i was very disappointed after all the hype about nubert.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of Nubert Speaker Factory, I feel the need to send you some feedback on your products and service. I became aware of you through an acquaintance who recommended you as a manufacturer with a very good price/performance ratio. The numerous positive test reports, opinions in Internet forums and customer feedback on your website (are you actually brainwashing people?) finally led me to order the NuBox 681 with ABL in July of this year. Your staff were extremely friendly and competent during the telephone order and technical advice. The process was uncomplicated and the delivery fast (only a production-related delay with the ABL). But now a little about your loudspeaker: After trying out various setups in my room, which is a bit small for the 681, and a brief disappointment (only caused by incorrect placement), I then found an adequate solution and I have to tell you... I am thrilled! The combination with my NAD c372 unfolds a musicality that is probably unparalleled in this price range - and that with ANY kind of music and volume! I don't want to give a test report at this point, but the speakers have absolutely fulfilled, if not exceeded, my expectations. I was won over not only by their excellent service, but also by the quality of their products - their philosophy of cheap but much more for the money speaks for itself. I am happy to advertise this to my circle of friends! Maybe soon it will also be Nubert for me - always Nubert! Kind regards from Aachen

Dear Mr. Bühler, dear Nubert team,
Thank you very much for the speedy dispatch of the replacement remote control for my AW-880.
I particularly appreciate this kind of service, it still makes you feel like "king" as a customer!
With kind regards

🙂 Now that I've had my "darling" AW-991 since the end of Nov. 2007, I have something to say again:
I watched the movie "Van Helsing" on RTL yesterday, 10.2.08 - via my 5.1 system (Onkyo TX SR605+B&W DM ? 604 S3).
Sitting downstairs in the living room (35m^2), my wife one floor up in the bedroom.
Amplifier set to "50" of 99 possible dB - sub at 10 o'clock.
Result: despite the parlor door being closed, my wife said that the bedroom door was still vibrating !!!!!
--Saaaaaagenhaft---
Gosh, that wasn't even a movie DVD!
And I haven't even really turned it up yet!
If my wife wasn't already "served" - I'd buy another one!
(Well, the Nubi fever has infected me - and I tell you: sometime, sometime, when my mistress has calmed down again, then I'll strike again.I just have to have more of it)
Oh, the bachelor days were so nice - I wouldn't have been too shy and bought what I could afford.......
Nubi is divine 🙂

I've had the NuWave 35 for some time now and I'm very happy with the sound (I also have Dynaudio Contour and Canton ergo speakers). What I don't like, however, is the connection terminal! Instead of a bi-wiring terminal, which probably makes little sense for a 2-way compact speaker, a better quality single-wiring terminal that actually holds banana plugs by means of a corresponding hollow hole would be appropriate here! Unfortunately, the installed sockets only have a corresponding "input hole", behind which the plug then flaps around unsteadily, i.e. has no "full contact". In other words: you can forget about banana plugs or hollow bananas on the box. And thus probably also on the identical terminals of the other models. Worthy of improvement!

I started about 5 years ago with a center of the Nubox series, which in itself was the hammer back then. Then I got the predecessor model of the NuWave 85. Of course, the sound didn't match. I asked nubert if I could exchange the Nubox Center again, which went without a hitch, and ordered a NuWave CS-65. Now everything was in tonal harmony again. Incidentally, the NuWave series sounds a whole lot better than the NuBox series, to put it simply. I then got myself the small RS-5 rear speakers. They weren't bad, but didn't come out with enough power for my taste (I'm a consolero, play X-Box 360 and a movie buff). I was able to exchange them for DS-55 without any problems and my dear man, these speakers are among the best rear speakers ever. After a while I got myself the AW-1500. That was the first time I could not only hear music, but also feel it. I was so enthusiastic about this monster speaker that I bought another one shortly afterwards!!! I no longer need to worry about the bass. I live above a pub, and if I turn the music up loud, nothing can be heard from downstairs. This year I'll be thinking about how I can expand my existing set even further, but I know for sure that I'll remain a Nubert fan for the rest of my life. For me, Günther Nubert is one of the best loudspeaker manufacturers in the world !!!
It would be an honor to meet this man. Oh yes, and before I forget, give the Nubert hotline a call. The women have really sexy voices.

Hello,
A big compliment to NSF. First-class telephone advice.
Ordered surround system on Thu, 03.01.08 at 22:00. (2 x NuBox 511, 1 x CS 411, 2 x DS 301 and 1 x AW 99). Received confirmation by e-mail on 04.01.08. Received the speakers on Mon, 07.01.08. That's what I call fast delivery. After I had connected the speakers, the big disappointment came. The bass was booming and the sound wasn't great either. But the online help for setting up the speakers and a new calibration with my receiver made me smile all the time.
The bass is so crisp and brute that it makes your stomach vibrate. But all without booming and distortion. The sound over stereo is simply unique. The whole thing is also extremely level stable. Conclusion: I am simply overwhelmed by the sound. 😬
Keyword customer service: When ordering, I asked for black instead of silver feet for the NuBox 511, which unfortunately weren't included. One phone call and 2 days later a pair was delivered. Another call to say that I needed 2 pairs for 2 speakers, and again 2 days later the 2nd pair arrived. Mistakes can happen. But such fast and competent customer service has been unique for me so far. 😂
Many thanks to the Nubert team.
I can only warmly recommend you.
Best regards
Niko

I wanted to thank NSF for the fact that I have a cute little system running on my PC.
Mr. M. Bühler and T. Bien gave me the tip to test the DS-301 in combination with the Dynavox CS-PA 1 and E-SA 18 mini amps.
My conclusion: Both amplifiers are really very well suited for PC operation. They also don't take up much space on the desk. In the end, I opted for the E-SA 18 because it has automatic input signal recognition. Which is of course an advantage with 2 PCs.
I don't need to write much more about the sound. Now I know how good the speakers are. The amp may be small, but it has enough power to easily fill a 20 square meter room with sound. This combination is worth a recommendation!!!
You could also use the amplifier with the NuBox 311 direct radiator. This is just as good or possibly even better than the DS-301. I only chose the DS-301 because I need a smaller speaker than the 311.
A test report will be published in the NuForum!!!
Greetings
Christian

First of all, many thanks for the detailed description on the homepage, in the forum and in the customer comments. This has all helped me in my decision to buy the NuBox381. I originally became aware of Nubert through my work colleague, who is already a convinced Nubi fan.
At the beginning of the year, I bought my new Onkyo TX-SR505E digital AV receiver, and all that was missing were the right speakers.
After extensive research and reading experience reports, comments etc., I decided on the NuBox381.
Ordered on Wednesday morning and delivered the very next day, Thursday afternoon. 100 points 🙂 That was really quick!
After I had unpacked the speakers and set them up/positioned them accordingly, it was time for extensive testing.
I have to say, it's really impressive how pure and clear the sound reproduction is. I dug out a few old CDs of mine that are very heavy on drums and guitars (e.g. Sigi Schwab & Percussion Project - Session 2000; Guns'N Roses - The Spaghetti Incident).
It was and is impressive to hear how clear and detailed the instruments can be reproduced, especially on Sigi Schwab's CD. It's almost like a live concert. This makes listening to music fun.
The speakers also sound great with DVDs, both with loud and quiet scenes. My LOTR collection had to hold out for a few listening tests 🙂.
Here, too, the speakers impressed me: voices, dialog etc. were always clear during the action scenes, but also during quiet scenes, and the bass from the speakers could be felt here and there.
At the moment I'm still considering whether it would make sense to buy an ABL module for the NuBox 381. Especially during the action scenes in LOTR, where the bass started to resonate, it sometimes didn't get deep enough or it seemed as if the bass was a little sluggish. It would therefore be interesting to know what the ABL module does.
All in all, the investment in the two NuBox 381s was 100% worthwhile. Over the next few days, I'll "play around" a bit with the various settings and measurements on my amplifier to see if I can get even more out of the speakers 🙂.
Many thanks and praise to the Nubert team and to the numerous people who have "immortalized" themselves in your forum. Keep up the good work.

Good morning Nubert Team
I have owned the Nubox 311 for a few months now.
I am very satisfied so far. Now I've treated myself to the AW441
Now I'm gobsmacked. What you can achieve with this combination is awesome!!!!!
Now connected the Nubox 311 downwards with the "less clean connection method" (according to the operating instructions*) and the slight discoloration has disappeared. Spatiality has increased by 50%
The AW441 is the best and fits perfectly with the 311s. You get the impression of having much larger speakers in front of you. The sound impression is dry, super clean, not to mention warm.
Greetings Ralf

Hello Jürgen!
As you can see, it's not just "adulation" here, we also publish your opinion. Of course we regret that we were not able to convince you with our most successful subwoofer. Was it just the woofer? Perhaps it was simply "too big" for your room? It's a pity that we apparently didn't have the opportunity to convince you with another woofer (e.g. our AW-560) or that we couldn't replace the AW-880, which was probably faulty (humming??). We are also sorry that you found the collection "inconvenient", but you can't just drop off a 26 kg bass at the nearest post office and UPS can't pick it up at your preferred time... But please consider one huge advantage: you were able to try out our product extensively at home and cancel your "bad purchase" without any problems. In principle, you cannot do this when buying in a shop (unless you are dealing with a very accommodating retailer). Nevertheless, we wish you lots of fun with your "right" woofer!
