Hello Nubertforum!
I hereby continue my comment from 3.7.07. There I wrote
"... If you follow the relevant trade journals, or those that claim to do so, you will notice "anomalies" here and there that are not rationally comprehensible, at least not to me. For example, the current nuBox 381 is (certainly rightly) rated with 40 sound points in STEREOPLAY. But so did the "old" nuWave 35. The inexperienced reader now wonders whether it makes sense to upgrade from 380? to 530? for this pair of speakers!..."
Now I've had both speakers - the 381s and the 35s - sent to me.
This is a great advantage with (some) mail order companies in general and Nubert in particular (4 weeks to test): You can evaluate the sound in your own 4 walls in peace and then decide on the more suitable - not necessarily more expensive - model.
What did I notice in the direct comparison? As an old "reference", I added a pair of inexpensive branded speakers (street price per pair at 80?) from a competitor known from discount stores.
nuBox 381: Sounds voluminous, more bass-driven compared to the 35, plays really well, especially at slightly higher volumes, much better without fabric covering. In POP and rock applications or without a subwoofer, superior to the other speakers (superficially?). Best efficiency.
nuWave 35: More subtle, more neutral, but also more restrained in the bass. Its characteristics are closer to those of the much smaller "cheap speakers". The cabinet volume and the drivers obviously determine the basic character of a speaker. It shows its strengths with classical music, jazz and especially the reproduction of individual instruments (piano, guitar, ...). Here it clearly sets itself apart from the other speakers. Nevertheless, it takes some getting used to in comparison with "riot speakers". You have to get used to every new speaker and allow yourself some time to get used to it! Then - in the case of the 35 - you will discover its strengths.
Cheap speaker: Unbeatable value for money - even beats the Nuberts in this respect! The reviews in the test magazines are positive - but they don't have the "last word" in this case. Basically, the sound of this speaker is "restrained" compared to the Nuberts, neither achieving their neutrality nor their sound spectrum. Nevertheless, such a speaker can be the first step towards HIFI.
I cannot understand the equal rating of the 381 and the 35 in STEREOPLAY. These are two fundamentally different speakers, with the 35 clearly being the more audiophile.
In my opinion, both speakers are equally good value for money! It depends very much on the type of music you listen to frequently. For "electronic" instruments I would prefer the 381, for "classical" instruments the 35 and for good background sound a cheap branded speaker will do. A subwoofer is a good support for the 35 in particular.
Unfortunately, my room situation did not allow for a floorstanding speaker. However, attempts in this direction show that there is still a lot to be gained in terms of "balance". I would have liked to have listened to the 125 here - but unfortunately it's still beyond my budget :-( and the expectations of my better half ;-)
I now have a pair of nuWave 35s (on top of two BS-70s) and they are challenging the audio resolution of my ears :-)) They are supported by an AW-880, which "works wonders" in the low bass range. We recommend trying out different positions and angles.
Conclusion: Test results in specialist magazines are all well and good. But at best they only give a rough indication.

Hello all you Nubert friends. I started dreaming about ordering my speaker system from Nubert about 4 years ago. The many test reports I saw in the relevant magazines convinced me without having heard the speakers before. Then, three months ago, the moment came when I had no more rear speakers after clearing out my apartment, as I had left them as a souvenir for my ex, so I decided to buy my first Nubert speakers.
It went great, surfed the site a bit, called, got advice, order arrived after two days, connected and ....Super...
Now, after ordering a center two weeks ago, I also ordered the floorstanding speakers for my set yesterday and can't wait to get them. I'm going to leave the sub alone for the time being, as I'm sure the post *****aft won't be able to cope with it. So to all those who, like me, want to take things slowly and buy the speakers bit by bit. Forget it, once you've started you can't wait until you have the next speakers in your living room anyway...

Hello everyone
I got hold of 2 nuBox 310 as 2nd choice in the bargain market and had to search for a very long time until I noticed that the underside of the speakers only have very slight "sliding marks" when exposed to sunlight. That's all. Ordered on Thursday and arrived the very next day in super packaging! I bought the speakers for my girlfriend's apartment so that I can also enjoy listening there. And since "women" (usually) don't like big speakers, I ordered the "smallest" ones. Small, but only in size. Because when I connected them to a small 20-year-old Akai amplifier (freshly tuned), we were both left spitting!!! Neither of us had expected such a powerful bass and such resolution in the mids and clear highs for this "dwarf". Everything plays so freshly and with such resolution.
I have my own nuLine 100 with ATM module and know what they can do, as does my girlfriend. She just grinned and said: what did you buy such big and expensive speakers for? and to be honest, if I could do without the low bass, I'd almost have to ask myself the same question !!! I'm really thrilled! I can only recommend this speaker and its successor, the 311, to anyone who doesn't have that much space or a big wallet, or who doesn't want to "clutter up" their room/apartment, but still won't have to do without (almost) anything in terms of good sound and music!
The workmanship and quality are unbeatable for the price range. Thanks to the Nubert team for such achievements and keep up the good work in the future. No matter when and what kind of speakers I buy in the future, it will always be Nubert speakers. That's for sure.
Many thanks to the whole team, to Mr. Bühler with whom I had a good conversation on the phone, and also to Mr. Spiegler (he knows why, 😉).
many greetings,
Bruno Zambounis

I have read many positive tests and reports on some Nubert models in various trade journals and as it was now time for me to buy new floorstanding speakers, I ordered the Nubox 481.
They were delivered in perfect condition 2 days after ordering. As I had previously used a relatively good subwoofer system from Canton, I was a little disappointed with the bass response of the Nubis at first. But after a few minutes of listening, I was and still am delighted. An absolutely dry and flawless sound. I can hear details in the music that were previously hidden from me. The music comes off the loudspeakers superbly and the Nubis can handle a volume level that is worthy of respect!
To be fair, I have to admit that my listening room doesn't allow for optimal positioning, so I probably won't be able to get the most out of the speakers. Still, they are great!!!
So, an absolute recommendation to buy, very precise sound!
Praise to the Nubert company, I am and remain a Nuberian, I have never experienced a manufacturer that offers as much loudspeaker and service for the money as Nubert.
Greetings from Bonn

Of course, I had already heard and read a lot about the Nubert company, its excellent products and the very good quality of service.
On the basis of this information, and very good and friendly advice on the phone, I then ordered a set of "Nuline32" speakers.
I sent the order by post on Thursday, received confirmation of receipt by telephone on Friday and the boxes arrived in Cologne on Saturday. Great!
About the boxes:
Never heard anything comparable before! Simply a top sound at a fair price.
Many thanks again to the friendly and helpful staff at Nubert!

I have been using speakers from the NuBox series for several years now.
The NuBox 400 with AW 440 on the "main system" are beyond reproach.
But the real hit in the range for me is the nuBox 310.
What a sound from these little shoeboxes!

The four-week trial period for the speakers (Nubox 400) is long over. Almost every evening I enjoy CDs that didn't sound as good, full and clear on the "old devices" (B.s. and Pion..r). A duo of Yamaha RX-797 and Nubox is now playing here. I didn't even think about exercising my right of return on the first evening.
The example of Nubert products impressively demonstrates that very good products with exemplary service can achieve more than just respectable success in customer acceptance and product sales in the "cheap is cool" landscape of Germany.
I would therefore like to thank all the employees who work at the Nubert Speaker Factory.

NS. The Nubox 400 will definitely not be my last order.

I ordered this product on monday, and it's already at my doorsteps on thursday!! Awesome delivery time, unbelievably good looking AW-991 subwoofer, a lot better than pictures can show. I got the black finish and it's fantastic. Hope it sounds as good, but seeing the size (a bit bigger than expected 😈 ) i don't think that will pose any problems.
ps very handy option is the payment through credit card, first company i ordered outside the netherlands that offered this service!

I would like to thank Mr. REICHELT very much for his extraordinary competence, as well as the time and friendliness that NUBERT has shown me.
For my next purchase I will definitely ask NUBERT first !!!
I couldn't get nearly as much help from Denon directly as I did here.
By the way, they also had the best price for my Denon 2930 at the time.
Thank you very much
Greetings Dirk

nuBox 511 + ABL 511 module
I would like to expressly thank the Nubert consultants (Schw.Gmünd). This is how I imagine competence and friendliness.
The speakers are simply fabulous and the additional module gives them an extra kick in terms of bass and purity.
Flawless sound in this price range, hard to believe but true.
Disadvantage: The neighbors are occasionally a little annoyed because you always have the urge to create a live concert atmosphere - brilliant.
This is how you win new customers who become and remain regular customers.
Thank you very much
