Attention classical music listeners!
Thanks to the 0% financing offer, I've owned a pair of nuBox 380s for a good week now. Together with the Harman-Kardon HK 970 integrated stereo amplifier and the HD 970 CD player, they produce an outstanding sound when listening to classical CDs. For example, Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 conducted by Daniele Gatti\ (in an incredibly dynamic interpretation) is a tremendous sound experience thanks to the speaker's properties. The delicate horn solo in the 2nd movement has the effect of the soloist himself standing in front of you. And the unleashed \"fff passages\" in the fourth movement reveal that even with such extreme dynamics, the nuBoxes reproduce the orchestral thunder with aplomb.
Ambitious classical music listeners who want to buy a system with an outstanding sound in the ? 1.200,- are well advised with the above mentioned components!
I am also very satisfied with Nubert's service. I was able to get an idea of the speakers for myself before my purchase when I visited the listening studio in Schwäbisch Gemünd and listened to them at my leisure. Classical music listeners who are looking for suitable speakers should definitely include Nubert in their purchasing decision.
With best regards!

🙂 I have owned a nuLine 80 Set1 including subwoofer for over a year now and can only confirm the very good playback quality. This loudspeaker system in combination with a multiout and SACD-capable playback system makes almost every type of music a listening pleasure. Instrumental virtuosos such as Mark Knopfler (Brothers in Arms) in particular really come into their own here. However, this system also separates the wheat from the chaff in terms of recording quality. It's worth buying SACDs, even if they cost a few euros more.

i decided to buy new speakers - because my old extremely cheap speakers had a shitty sound. nubert was recommended to me. i researched online for hours(!) and decided to make the investment and get the nubox 580. my buddy, however, really wanted to drive the 40 km to gmünd to check it out. we were terribly curious and excited.
we received a friendly welcome and were then allowed to take our cd's into the listening room equipped with all the series (alone!). we were overwhelmed - this sound blew us away. an absolute experience. for over an hour we played all the speakers up and down at almost all volumes. i actually wanted the nubox580. while listening we realized the following: the 580 is incredibly rich and dynamic in terms of bass. it went through the whole body. the nuwave85 and nuline80 couldn't do that in this form. on the other hand, they convinced us with greater precision and clarity in the mids and highs. a cleaner and absolutely balanced sound. easy to hear even for us as amateurs. especially at higher volumes. for a long time i was still leaning towards the nubox580, especially as i prefer rock`n roll and proper bass. off the top of my head, i liked the nuline80 better than the nuwave85. so it was nubox580 versus nuline80. i wasn't sure whether the nuline would bring enough \"boom and thunder\" into my den (approx. 40 m2 living room). it was a long tie. i was torn. i zapped back and forth between the speakers dozens of times. we were in there for over an hour. it got harder and harder. neither speaker would be a mistake. in the end, i opted for the clean and balanced sound of the nuline80. it's also a bit smaller and more living room friendly. the service/consulting from mr. kellner was everything you could wish for: not at all intrusive but always "at your disposal" and competent advice. even helped to load the speakers into the car.
what then happened at home, however, i would not have thought possible: after the direct comparison with my old speakers, i would have loved to throw them out of the window with joy (i'm not exaggerating). the nulines80 sounded even better at home. we were overwhelmed! goosebumps, waves of enthusiasm, disbelief. it didn't stop. i sat in front of my system with moist eyes of joy and enthusiasm. did that really come out of there? how do they do that? what's in there? unbelievable. we were overwhelmed and blown away. we both expected a lot, a lot. but that....ohne Worte...surpassed all expectations. that's why i have to share my experience here too. especially electr. music. well, i've also risen from the regional league to the champions league. but i've been to countless concerts and (techno) parties. but what came out of my speakers... this dynamic, this balance. this precision, fullness, color, clarity and spatiality. up to the highest levels. this sound! unique! the entire sound image. sounds to "touch" shot, flew or floated through the living room. i also speak for my buddy: we have never heard anything like it!!! wow. and i was wondering whether this speaker had enough bass power. i'm crazy!!! i made the absolutely right purchase. considering that the speakers should only develop their full sonic performance after approx. 20 hours of operation... the speaker is worth every euro. created a cd battlefield in the living room.
the following thoughts came to mind: my neighbors haven't complained for 7 years, and i have a very good relationship with them, but it takes a lot of care to keep it that way. actually, it's hard to imagine. i guess they noticed after 10 minutes that i had new speakers. you can feel sorry for them! really.
my buddy had the following thoughts:
- i can't listen to music at home anymore after knowing what music can sound like.
- damn, i need these things too!
- and: how do i make this clear to my neighbors?

so dear nubert team: keep up the good work. your speakers seem to be something very special.

ciao lu

we need a house!

😂 😂
It's here,
Experience report AW 1500 VS B&W ASW 3000.

As my ASW 3000 was getting on in years, I wanted to buy a new sub. The 3000 had also convinced me a lot and made me great friends for many years. This sub is approx. 65cm wide / 50cm deep / 60cm high and has a 38cm speaker and weighs approx. 55 KG.

After some consideration, I wanted a sub that was not so wide, as my room is about 5.50m wide. With a width of 35cm, for example, I could move my "left\" front speaker further away from the wall. I didn't care about the height.
There were three "candidates": SVS PB12/Plus2, ACT with three 25 cm speakers and the AW 1500.
Unfortunately, the SVS was ruled out due to its very large depth of 71 cm (this sub would simply reach too far into the living room).

But the ACT would probably also have been extremely good, but at a price of 2400 euros I would have had to stretch myself financially. Furthermore, I could have got two AW 1500s for that price. So I ordered the AW 1500 as a bargain for testing.

Here is my report at last:
Ordered and arrived the next day. Super well packaged. The sub only had a small defect of 3mm on the veneer. As a bargain, a lucky purchase.
This is how I set up the AW 1500: Volume: 9 o'clock position, frequency 160 Hz, phase 180 degrees, low cut 20 Hz, soft clipping off, power ON auto, bass reflex tube all open.
On the Yamaha RV-X1600: Cross Over: 60Hz, automatic leveling of the entire system (5.1) All large speakers.
I used the software for testing: Batman Begins, Lord of the Rings 3 and War of the Worlds.
The AW 1500 has an insane/extreme bass. This sub is capable of stimulating the room volume / building statics in a 30 square meter room to such an extent that it is a pleasure to "experience" home cinema. It celebrates a lightness in bass reproduction that is simply hard to describe. Absolutely dry / precise / powerful bass that I have never heard before (especially when using the two plugs) My ASW 3000 can retire with peace of mind. Since I don't need two AW 1500s (one AW 1500 is enough), I can invest the financial difference to the ACT in two new front speakers (NuLine 120).
I'm not the technical specialist, I just have to be immediately enthusiastic and convinced by the devices without any ifs and buts. That's enough for me. What I get here for 1200 euros (as a bargain) is just great. I don't want to start a discussion about what is the best etc. It was just important to me to give people who have such a nice hobby as we do some help and tips.
I am more than satisfied and in no way regret my decision and approach.

To the guestbook entry of H. Carsten Blees:

Dear Mr. Blees,

the assessment you made in your article:
'I am supposed to bear the shipping costs for the first pair, which in my opinion violates the \'Distance Selling Act\' or the EU directive now in force?
prompts us to make a correction.
We are well aware of the judgment of the Karlsruhe Regional Court. This judgment, which is not (!) legally binding in the first instance, contradicts all previous case law on this topic known to us.
The terms of delivery described in our General Terms and Conditions and accepted by you when placing your order are therefore valid without restriction.
Also for reasons of fairness, we do not wish to deviate from our previous shipping conditions.
At first glance, a regulation in which direct senders also reimburse you for the costs of the outward shipment seems very customer-friendly. However, these costs have to be calculated somewhere. They are actually there. The sender must therefore include them in the sales price of his products. This means that every customer who does not return goods pays the return shipping costs of a few?

We hope for your understanding and remain with kind regards

Hello, Nubert team!

...... and again everything as usual, good advice, 38 hours later I received the goods in top packaging. Once again delighted with the goods, this time an ATM electronic part, super workmanship.

To the assertion
\"Membrane area can be replaced by nothing but even more membrane area\"
in the hi-fi forum I wrote the following

The saying is as wrong as it is old!

After long consideration I bought the ATM system.
It is anything but a bass hammer and bass boost!
There was no Aha Wooh ooh experience with my CS 70. The extended frequency response is only audible on CDs with low bass.
It never ceases to amaze me how clean, not effect-like
and not audible with every recording. But it only works properly with the Nuberts speakers.
Conclusion: high quality fine-tuning, but no bass effect device.
So test it yourself first.
______________________________________________________

My fear that the \"frequency response will be bent\" is in no way true, the Nubert product description ATM is accurate and good.
But what excites me the most is the \"sound balance\", i.e. the
Mid/High control is simply brilliant!

Many thanks again, Mr. Siegle, but also to the whole team
good luck with the Nubert philosophy.

Best regards from Heidelberg

REFUND OF SHIPPING COSTS ???

I ordered a pair of nubox 400 at the end of last year. Due to negative listening experiences in my room, I sent the pair back within a week.

I then had a pair of nuline 30s sent to me, which I kept.

I am supposed to pay the shipping costs for the first pair, which in my opinion violates the \'Distance Selling Act\' or the EU directive now in force.

I am generally very satisfied with the nubert service, but other direct mail order companies also refund the shipping costs!

Hello,

I would like to thank you for the outstanding Nubert service:
On Saturday, I was immediately called back by Mr. Bühler regarding my questions about the speaker configuration. The conversation lasted over half an hour and was very informative.
I never had the impression that the \"most expensive\" speakers; I was recommended a set-up that was tailored to my room!
Mr. Bühler's efforts were definitely worthwhile: I will save some more money and then order by mid-April at the latest -- I promise!!!
