why i am "entering" here: maybe someone has similar requirements/ideas and maybe he/she will find what he/she is looking for at nubert.
so far i was a \"direct-sales-cost-despiser\", especially with regard to the quality of the products, service of such a company and of course the hifidelity - a misconception!
i am a passionate stereo listener and was looking for my \"old heldin\" ALR NUMBER 4 (1994) a supplement in the lower frequency range. an initially considered full alternative was ultimately out of the question due to the still existing presence qualities (and ideal values) of the ALRs. this led to the desire for a stereo-capable subwoofer with sophisticated processing quality, which would not "blow my 16 sqm listening room around my ears" and integrate itself warmly and unobtrusively into the existing sound image. in my opinion, a particularly good complement to the natural, transparent and delicate sound character of the ALRs.
that's how i came across the AW-550 - can such a small-volume subwoofer perform as expected with the ALRs, i asked myself - in short: it can!
it played almost too bass-heavy - however: the listening room is, i think, at the lower limit of the room size for this sub. the challenge for me (meanwhile) is to adjust the level and, if necessary, the crossover frequency almost every time a new cd is inserted, but this is easily possible thanks to the supplied remote control. (at this point i had to change my habits, i am not \"keen to experiment\" and prefer the source-direct way: only power+volume-on)
i hope my presentation is not misinterpreted, because i would buy the AW-550 again!
by the way, as far as i can tell, i also like the company philosophy.
many thanks to the nubert team!
(for those who are interested: the sub is connected separately to the pre-out with the nuCable Audio 8)
p.s.
for other purposes i had already ordered the nuBox 380 before - what can i say, with only \"average playback\" the aw-550 would probably not have been seriously considered ...

I have finally ordered the matching subwoofer for my other Nubi's (2X380,2X310,CS 330). I had previously connected a Magnat subwoofer and was actually quite satisfied. After 2 working days, the AW880 was delivered. Unpacked, set up and roughly adjusted, favorite DVD of Fleetwood Mac in the player and off we go. I think I need about a week to get the big grin off my face and get rid of the goose bumps. I never expected such a big difference, this thing not only produces sounds but also feelings. I will probably relive my CDs and DVDs from now on. But under no circumstances will I make use of my right of return. I will never give it back!!!

Greetings also to my bosom buddy Wolly, who infected me with the Nubert virus.

Hello dear Nubert team!!!

Now that my 4-week test period for my Nuwave 105 speakers has come to an end, I'm more than euphoric to get back to you.
In the meantime, I've made various fine adjustments and am still convinced that I haven't gotten the maximum out of it. Firstly, because I am now heavily infected with Nubert and secondly, because I still have to experiment further, it is not reasonable for my well-being to return these speakers.

Many thanks again for: first-class advice, smooth shipping, incomparable product quality, etc. etc.

best regards from Vienna

For a few weeks now, I have been able to call two nuline 80s my own. Every day I look forward to being able to listen to music again and, like many others, I ask myself how I was able to put up with my previous speakers all these years. My record player (Rega Planar) is being used properly again and for the first time I can listen to what vinyl is capable of at home. A real pleasure.
And these things are chic!!! The workmanship is really excellent!
Thank you very much!

I am very impressed with the Nubert speakers!

During my research, the range of products very quickly narrowed down to 2 suppliers: Nubert and Teufel. The competent telephone advice, the very clear and easy-to-understand website and the variable combination of different types of speakers into a set tipped the scales in favor of Nubert. The strong hi-fi characteristics confirmed my decision.

For my first order, I chose the NuBox CS-330 as a center, 4x NuBox 380 as front and surround speakers and the NuBox AW-880 as a subwoofer. I was absolutely overwhelmed after the first listen. A neighbor came to the door the very first evening and asked me to turn the bass down a little.
😬
Last week, I took a day off work and drove to Schwäbisch Gmünd to get an overview of possible expansion options. I was allowed to spend about 3 hours in one of the listening studios and listen to the CDs I had brought with me in peace and quiet. The demonstration in the large home theater room was also very impressive. You could hear what the state of the art is today. I've never experienced sound like that in a movie theater!
In the end, I decided to buy 2 NuBox RS-300s to use as rear surround speakers. I then also bought the digitally remastered Star Wars trilogy (Episode IV-VI). An absolute must for the surround test.

So keep up the good work. I will also recommend you to others.

Thank you very much for this aha experience!
After my parents moved house, the good old GDR hi-fi system had to be replaced, and after the excellent advice from the nice man on the phone, a couple of nuBox 380 and a couple of RS300 (as center and surround back) have now been sounding in this small room of just under 20m² for a good month and provide really impressive soundscapes - in stereo mode it is simply unbelievable how precisely you can locate the instruments!
I myself have been making and mixing music for about 10 years and can claim to have a little experience and at least a reasonably practiced ear - the nuBoxes' reproduction is so linear and precise that they would undoubtedly do an excellent job as monitor speakers. Admittedly, I'm a bit jealous of the sound in my parents' living room - whenever I come to visit, it's off to the living room to listen to music 😂 .

Kudos also for the lightning-fast shipping. Given the quality and the wonderful design, there's no way I'll be returning the Denon 1705! The only thing missing for the perfect listening experience is better room acoustics (the 380s even stimulate an eigenmode at 34Hz - I didn't want to believe it at first when I checked), but I have already found very good starting points for this in the Nuforum.

Respect and many thanks to the entire Nubert team, I'm thrilled!

Hello!

I ordered the NuBox 310 as a stereo pair last week and received it two days later. Service, speed etc. - exemplary.

But the little black boxes themselves are the most convincing; it's amazing what comes out of them. You wouldn't expect such a small speaker to do that. Respect. The 310s have already passed the first party with flying colors, the level stability is remarkable.

Thank you so much, the Speaker Factory will never see these speakers again!

Greetings from the (still) double city ;-P

😬 Yes! Last week I bought 2 nuline CS70s.
I use them upright as front speakers in my surround system. It's hard to believe what a powerful sound comes out of such a relatively small speaker. I can only recommend the nuline series to everyone. The sound is simply brilliant. 😱

Thanks to the Nube team for the good advice.

Hello, I have owned the AW 880 since 20.12.2004.
it with Canton Carat M 80 DC on NAD C 372 amp.
The Canton is considered to have a strong bass, but what the AW 880 produces,
is simply unbelievable. I can now hear basses that I
never suspected before on CDs and vinyl records.
And my upgraded Thorens TD 320 with Ortofon Vinyl
Master Silver is in top form. But there is one drawback:
the neighbors ... grin. Too bad for them: I've already got my eye on the new top woofer
from Nubert already in their sights... grin.

What the AW 880 produces is unbelievable. The test in stereoplay 08/2004 is a joke. A device like this must receive at least 8 in the rating, as the bass is much better than that of many other participants and the workmanship is top. 56 points would be appropriate!

I would particularly like to praise the super service,
the telephone advice and support is excellent. You can tell
that the whole team puts its heart and soul into it!

Best regards!

Carl Hermann
