Hi Nubis, I was very surprised when I entered my surname as a URL for fun and ended up on your site - whether family or not, the next speaker purchase will certainly (given the references) fall on the Nubert brand. Who else can have hi-fi equipment with their surname in their room... Best regards from Offenbach, Martin Nubert 😂

Hi, I recently had the honor of owning the nu-wave cs-4, I was so obsessed with getting my hands on this speaker that I couldn't sleep through the nights from the time I ordered it until it arrived *g*, when it finally arrived I bunkered down in my apartment and unplugged my phone to finally start listening to music! When I turned on my amplifier and put in the CD, it blew me away! I had never heard anything so precise and accurate, and at such a price! I looked to the side, laughing at my EX-Center speaker, which now moved shamefully behind my couch because it probably never sounded like that itself!

After the delivery of the two Nubox 460s was slightly delayed due to a UPS error (see below), I am more than compensated by the music that the new Nubert speakers produce! As a skeptical person, I bought a pair of ASW Cantius V and a pair of B&W CDM 7NT from a specialist dealer and placed them in my living room for comparison. The Nubox 460 speakers passed this personal test with flying colors. If you also compare the price you have to pay for the other two pairs of speakers, you can only congratulate every Nubert speaker owner! So, dear Nubert team, you can wait a few days for this quality (but who knows beforehand?). Best regards 🙂

Answer to the entry by Roland Pumberger from 10.1.02: The question of a center speaker identical to the front main speakers is not as easy to answer as it is sometimes presented in the rather simplified information (especially in the THX League). - If it were not for the fact that the center speaker should be aurally located quite precisely in the middle of the screen (or projection screen), it would be much easier. - Then you could use 3 identical speakers at the front. - However, because the MIDDLE AND HIGH frequencies have to be reproduced at about ear height (1.10 to 1.30 m above the floor) for optimum sound, the center speaker unfortunately covers part of the screen (the upper part of which is also at this height). Floorstanding speakers usually also sound better than small speakers BECAUSE some of the bass is produced close to the floor, but the mids and highs are usually produced at about half the height of the room. - A floorstanding speaker placed across the floor doesn't sound good - it booms and hums. THREE floorstanding speakers placed crosswise may be quite homogeneous, but they are EVEN more grumpy! - A large center positioned diagonally under the TV, which is identical to the main speakers, harmonizes WORSE with standing main speakers than a much smaller center, which has a similar sound character in the mids and highs, but can be placed much further away from the floor. A center is often BETTER placed ABOVE the TV than below it. - I have never seen a center speaker of the size of a full-size floorstanding speaker above a TV - although this would be possible in principle. However, large center speakers placed too low have another problem: many THX-ULTRA speakers focus mids and highs so strongly that you would actually have to lie on your stomach to hear mids and highs without interference cancellation - another trick would be to tilt these speakers so that the highs actually reach your ears rather than your kneecaps. - But who does that? ... - Another problem with 3 identical front speakers is that the seating position has to be EXACTLY IN FRONT of the TV, because the sweet spot where you actually locate the center in the middle can be quite small (depending on the mix of the soundtrack). - If there is more than ONE viewer in the room, you can use a suitable center speaker, which may differ slightly from the two front main speakers, to improve the midrange localization, as is the case with our CS-330 and CS-4 models, for example. Regarding the other questions: TWO subwoofers are already significantly better (in terms of the spatial distribution of the bass) than a single sub. The same applies to the rear sub - however, we can almost count on one hand the FEW of our customers who REALLY have FOUR subwoofers in use. On the question of DIPOL / DIRECT rear speakers: With our RS-5 (or DS-50) and AW-550 combination, you have BOTH options, because these rear speakers can be switched between both operating modes. - Perhaps we will actually bring out remote-controlled switchable rear speakers, as some of our customers have already suggested... Regarding your layout plan: You couldn't have known that the software in our guestbook would compress all the blank spaces in the text and thus make your layout plan unrecognizable. Greetings Günther Nubert

Hello, I bought the NuLine 30 in Aalen on 10.01.02 and discovered at home that one of the tweeters was not working. I hope the problem can be solved in the next week. The great thing is that the NuLine 30 with only one tweeter sounded better than my old speakers (Canton 920 SC). Hats off to your loudspeakers.

Hello Nubis! You guys are really crazy to offer such speakers for home use 😬 This is really awesome, more precisely, the AW 850, I can't get over the amazement, what this woofer offers has far exceeded my expectations. The sound pressure and the purity with which the pressure comes across is simply phenomenal. my only concern is my windows, I can already see them lying in a thousand pieces. On the other hand, I wasn't surprised, as I already own a couple of NU Box 360s and an RS 300 from you, and these speakers are also of the finest quality 😬 😬 😬 😬 Likewise your prompt delivery, ordered on Monday, received on Tuesday. Excellent, very worthy of imitation, keep it up, a very satisfied customer, best regards Helmut Haspel 😬 😬 😬 😬

Hello guestbook users, hello Nubert team! I'll try to get rid of a few questions this way: I'm considering getting a surround set, but so far I've assumed that I'll be getting three equivalent and therefore identical speakers for the front speakers. Why should I go for a real center speaker and not get three identical compact or floorstanding speakers? What specifically speaks for/against a real center speaker and what speaks for/against three similar speakers? Secondly, does it make sense to use large floorstanding speakers for LCR and also operate one or two subwoofers? The crossover frequency could be lowered, the localization of the subs could be reduced and (I've heard) the bass power and experience could be additionally increased. Thirdly, do dipole rears really make sense? I'm leaning towards getting compact speakers for the rear area as well (the same as for the front). As I also have a fairly large room (over 35 m2), I would consider the following speaker set-up: R+SUB RE RE BA C O BA L+SUB RE RE O = listening position, RE= rears (i.e. 2 pairs of rears) BA= back What do you think of this setup? Would it also make sense to use a 3rd sub in the back area? Greetings Roland

Hello, I currently have a pair of active loudspeakers (Backes&Müller BM 6) with a Yamaha C 65 preamplifier. I would like to switch to a Nubert active subwoofer + 2 satellites, but who can recommend something comparable? Which power amplifier would be best for the satellites? Thanks for any tips.

Dear Dr. Aengenheister, we would like to apologize in advance for the inconvenience caused by the incorrect delivery! Due to a numerical/code error here at UPS, the order we processed on time was complicated. But there is a certain amount of pressure on all shipping companies during the Christmas period! In any case, we hope you enjoy the speakers that will be delivered to you tomorrow.
