Hello Martin! A 20sqm room can't be that bad that your 660s, which together have a bass cone of approx. 1.6sqm, don't produce any pressure! You describe a large cone excursion without any perceptible bass, so I suspect some kind of polarity reversal. If the polarity reversal is not in the left-right ratio, this is said to have happened internally in loudspeakers or power amplifiers, literally horses have already been seen........!

I'm sorry to have to criticize something, but that's what the guestbook is for. I think that the NuBox 660 has a very good sound. But unfortunately the bass range still lacks a bit of punch. I don't know whether this is due to the positioning of the speakers, the fact that I have a sloping roof in my room or the fact that I have a carpeted floor. I've got used to the fact that I have to turn the bass control 90 degrees to the right in order to get a normal sound, so that's probably down to the room. But even when the woofers are making big thumps, you can't really feel the bass. And that's with a room size of around 20 square meters. I know loudspeakers that work quite differently, but maybe it really is the room, I don't want to spread false information about the speakers. But unfortunately I have to tell you that I won't be buying any more Nubert speakers, because I need speakers that don't have a VERY GOOD sound, but rather a GOOD sound with more movement in the air. I've kept the Nubox 660s anyway, because the sound is simply creamy, but I'm going to get a powerful subwoofer to go with them. To make it clear once again: The NuBox 600s are not for people who need full bass pressure or want bass that makes the sofa shake.

Hello, Today I received my nuLine RS-3 speakers, which I had ordered on Thursday afternoon. wow! they gave me friendly and competent information on the phone and the nice lady called me back after only 10 minutes to clarify some details. Since I already knew that I would probably keep my new NUBERTS anyway (I am already the proud owner of the CS-3 Centerbox), I had picked some from the bargain corner, with slight scratches, and thus saved 70.-DM (nevertheless of course with full warranty and the other services).when I unpacked the boxes then I found no blemishes on them. TOP CONDITION!!! Clean workmanship and where are these scratches??? (No, I'm not blind!) The first grin had already disappeared from my face when the actual line test came on.quickly and without any problems, I put in a few DVDS one after the other: Gladiator, THX-Trailer, Titan A.E., etc, etc, etc...and gave it a good gas :-))) And again, I was so happy: These speakers have a wonderfully diffuse and spacious sound image and an excellent sound!!! Even the small surround effects, such as raindrops, are reproduced very precisely and naturally.great!!! So, these RS-3 speakers are only small in size! Of course, I will experiment a little with the placement, but the speakers have already shown what they are made of: workmanship and sound QUALITY! In concrete terms, I can already say that these things will not be going back to NUBERT - sorry, you'll have to build new ones again :-) Finally, I would like to say that I have not been sponsored by Nubert and can only advise everyone to get Nubert speakers for themselves. After long months of listening (not testing, because that was done very quickly), my brief comment: I'm very happy with my Nuwave 10, especially as the low bass equalization at the bottom really makes the sun rise. It simply sounds more correct when the low frequencies are supplied in the correct ratio. You tend to listen less loudly, so that treble-heavy recordings are automatically less noticeable. The option of lowering the treble is brilliant for grating recordings or for correcting rooms that sound too bright (not necessary for me). You can find your ideal setting relatively quickly. The speakers should definitely be placed on spikes; I placed two under the front and one in the middle at the back. You should offer spikes at the same time! One point of criticism regarding your service: Yesterday I received 2 boxes instead of the one I ordered. There was only one box on the invoice. I then called the Nubert hotline today. The woman told me that she would send me a parcel (with a freeway ticket of course) in which I should embed the box and then take it to the post office. is taking a 10 kg parcel to the nearest post office a thank you for a mistake on your part? mfg, M. Due to the current situation, I would like to say a few words about Nubert (I own 'various' Nubert loudspeakers myself): Whether Nubert builds the best 'existing' loudspeakers in the respective price range is a matter of 'taste'/'hearing'. However, even competitors(!!) grudgingly admit that Günther Nubert builds good loudspeakers without exception. But one thing distinguishes Nubert even more from other manufacturers and suppliers: a service that is 110% customer-oriented. Not only is every question answered patiently and with professional competence on the phone, but every part of the 'Nubert service chain' from the initial inquiry to fast delivery to (very unlikely) returns or 'after-sales' support is carried out with an exceptionally high level of commitment at Nubert. Conclusion: This service and the very good loudspeakers give Nubert a unique position in the landscape of hi-fi and home cinema suppliers.

Hello Nubert team and interested parties, the time has come. After five weeks of testing, I would like to report on my experience with NUBERT (I noticed that almost all the guestbook entries were made almost immediately after the first sound impression, so I decided to test extensively first). I was looking for a good subwoofer to complement my Dolby Digital system. I had already listened to a few products from well-known manufacturers when I became aware of Nubert. As I couldn't really tell the difference between the AW 850 and the AW 900, I visited the NUBERT FACTORY 300 km away. And that was a good thing! What I experienced here deserves to be rated absolutely top class. The advice from Mr. Holger Nubert was just as you would expect: competent, unobtrusive, with plenty of time, friendly and so on. The listening studios, which also provide the right visual material for home cinema enthusiasts, are perfect for spending a whole day there. After much deliberation, I eventually decided on the AW 900, which I immediately took home with me and plugged in. My wife's first comment was: "Are you crazy to buy such a huge box? But then: The first listening impression at home also silenced my wife for a few minutes (maybe I just didn't hear her anymore). I already knew this from Schwäbisch Gemünd. But even now, after five weeks, I can only say that this was the best decision I could have made. The sound quality (both for music lovers and home theater fans) is almost impossible to describe. You have to try it out. Preferably in Schwäbisch Gemünd.
