Now I have them, the nuVero14 in white.
In my search for the perfect floorstanding loudspeakers, I've had quite a few at home. I've also been to a number of dealers, listened to a lot, drank a lot of coffee, compared, loud, quiet ? whether the pair for 2000,-? or for 8.500,-? In some areas there was always outstanding performance, some were very finely resolved, others had a beautiful voice reproduction, some had a good bass range, some speakers even looked good.
In your own living room, of course, many things sound different than at the dealer, usually worse. It was often the bass range with bass exaggeration, but the stage imaging and high frequency reproduction were not always perfect either.

At the beginning of 2009, I had the opportunity to listen to the 14s extensively in the listening studio in Schwäbisch Gmünd. After that I was convinced that these would be my future speakers.

Unfortunately, I didn't take my wife and her color scheme into account. And in fact, none of the nuVero 14's colors matched at the time ? all the living room colors were coordinated with our cherry wood furniture.
A year ago, I decided on a so-called class leader for approx. 6,000? Most of the competitors up to approx. 10,000? did no better in the well-known test magazines. I felt comfortable, the speakers played really well, only the ?problem child? low bass range remained a bit of a problem. low bass range remained a little.

However, one question always remained unanswered in the back of my mind: Would the Nuvero14 be as good? Would it play even better?

The knot burst about 3 weeks ago:
During a rearrangement of the living area, my sweetheart (finally!!!!!) realized that we needed new furniture after all, it would be nice if it was really light??well, the boxes wouldn't fit quite as well.

OK!!!

72 hours later:
- white nuVero14 in the living room (we were lucky, they were available immediately)
- the Dynaudio's under the stairs
- me on the sofa ?took the day off.

After only about 3 hours it was clear: 1. the Dynaudio's have to go 2. I have the best wife in the world!

Everything is there! Fantastic high frequencies, the best resolution of the mids with brilliantly real-sounding voices, an absolute dream bass with precision and depth, no bass booms, no booming. Nothing, but absolutely nothing over-analytical or cool ? nevertheless extremely detailed, fine-dynamic and extremely fast. The very good room adjustment thanks to the bass, mid-range and treble switches offers multi-level options to suit your own listening tastes.

So your Highender:
If you are looking for new speakers in the price category up to approx. 10,000? then give yourself and your ears a chance and get the nuvero14 (4 weeks right of return) into your living room. And for the ?rest? please get the right furniture (if necessary) ;-)

highly satisfied and relaxed

After we moved into a new house with a large living room 2 years ago, the question of a new adequate audio environment arose. A tip from a friend brought Nubert to our attention. We combined a visit to the studio in Aalen with a weekend trip to Ulm. Originally, we (or rather my wife 😉 ) only wanted to listen to a few small nuLines. As always, the speakers were supposed to be invisible and yet transform the room into a concert hall ... squaring the circle, especially with over 40 square meters. But the friendly advice and several hours of testing in the studio helped us to purchase the nuLines 102 with ATM. After 2 years of intensive listening enjoyment and some serious upgrading of the amplifier and CD ... Well, what's the enemy of the good? The better ... so I've been flirting with the nuVero 14 for some time, which I then ordered two weeks ago purely on the basis of my previous experience with Nubert and the test reports. Unpacked, set up, turned on ... and just grinned. My wife was initially horrified by the one-day chaos in the living room - new speakers, old speakers, huge boxes, cables, etc. Now we have no more space at all, was that necessary, the old ones were good too, so much money, the huge parts ....
Well, I ignored all that for the time being, the nuLines were sold the same day at a good price, disposed of in the new boxes and when the status quo was reached again in the living room in the evening and we listened to a few records together, she just said ... like live in a concert hall ... She also just grinned and said that the mocha color would go much better with the furniture and that the speakers weren't that big compared to the sound ;-)

Conclusion:
Nubert speakers are first class and have a high resale value (over 20 reports within 5 hours of online advertisement here)
The nuVeros 14 is 1a *++++*
I can't subjectively understand the discussions here in the forums about efficiency and amplifier power etc.; I drive the nuVeros with less power than the nuLines with a significantly (!) better sound image/overall impression/subjective well-being
Nubert's support is first class; delivery was made within 3 days; some problems were solved directly by phone/email without any problems.
Please keep up the good work!

Hello dear NuTeam, dear readers,

I have had a pair of Nubox 481 speakers connected to my Yamaha Pianocraft 840 compact system for about a week now.
At first I was extremely skeptical about the comments about the great sound of the Nubert speakers, in particular I could not really imagine that the speakers reproduce "sounds/tones" that cannot be heard with other speakers.

But since I can return the speakers if I don't like them, I decided to order the above speakers as a "2nd choice".
Fast delivery, good packaging.

I couldn't understand why the boxes were 2nd choice. The boxes are superbly made, I couldn't find any faults.

When I first connected them (with the old thin speaker cables), I was initially not satisfied with the sound of the speakers. The sound was clear, but the bass was clearly lacking.
Especially as I usually only listen to music at room volume.
Previously, I had connected small floorstanding speakers from Philips (approx. 20 years old), which delivered significantly more bass, but didn't have nearly as clear a sound.

After about two days, I liked the sound better and better, especially after I had also connected the speaker cables (2*2.5) I had ordered.

The bass is still weaker than with my old speakers, but much clearer and not so boomy.
The highs and mids are wonderfully clear.

However, not all CDs sound good. You can now recognize good and bad recordings.
With the good recordings, you can now really hear instruments that were not audible before. The comments that I was initially skeptical about are now completely true.

I am happy with the speakers and will be keeping them!

Finally, thank you very much for the new listening experience with the Nuboxes, keep up the good work!

I've been looking for good speakers for a long time. Now that I own the Nubox 311 + AW441 woofer, my search is over. I have never owned such incredibly high-quality speakers. Even I, as a layman, immediately realized that these are speakers made with heart. With all due respect, I would like to thank everyone at Nubert for making such good loudspeakers possible for little money.

Hello, dear NUBERT staff and readers of these lines, I would like to express the enormous joy I felt after connecting my 5.1 set (WS-12, CS-42, DS-22, AW-1000), calibrating it and slowly powering it up: almost unbelievable, incredible, almost incomprehensible, how it is possible to suddenly have such a great sound in the living room!!!! I used to own a T+A system, which didn't sound bad at all! But this NuLine set beats everything I've ever heard at home and in the listening rooms of renowned hi-fi dealers. The subwoofer is the real hit. Oh my goodness!!! - My reference DVD, a live concert by Jon Lord: Beyound the Notes, sounds a thousand times better than before. And my reference Blu-ray, The Dark Knight, makes the whole house shake!!! It's amazing! Dear people at NUBERT, you are the greatest! I was also particularly impressed by the first-class advice I received from several of your employees and the speed of shipping. Top! I can really recommend you without reservation. I'm looking forward to our party when I can delight the visitors with lots of decibels and bass power...
Best regards from the north of the republic!

Hello dear NuTeam,

I had the opportunity to visit your hearing studio in Aalen for the first time today.
For many years I have been enjoying my NuWave 10 and ABL module every day anew.
However, the NuVero 11 is already tickling my nose. After an extensive listening test, I and my better half realized that the NuVero's sound is already a big step up. Unfortunately, I couldn't decide to buy these wonderful-sounding speakers because none of the colors on offer matched our interior even slightly. The NuWaves are finished in the beautiful terracotta color. Unfortunately, this color is not (yet?) available for the Veros. A neutral "black" would be an alternative, but anthracite with the gray Nextel body is so hard to match with light natural wood.
Now I hope that after "Mocca", "Terracotta" will also be offered with a black body or as a variant at some point.
Should I really be the only one who feels this way?

Until then, I'll console myself with my NuWaves.

Many greetings and respect for such a sound.

Answer from the Nubert-Team

We are of course sorry that we could not meet your taste. However, we will stick to the design concept of the nuVeros (high-gloss front and Nextel body in one color tone).
(Unfortunately, deep black Nextel is not available). The problem of extending the range of color variants and the cost of individually manufactured speakers has already been discussed extensively in the nuForum...

COMPLAINTS

That's not how it works...

Have you gone mad?

Do you actually know what you're doing? Have you ever imagined
imagined what would happen if word got out about THIS?
And the consequences?
Have you ever thought about it?

No, of course not. Typical!!! Building great speakers and shirking responsibility.
responsibility.
Thousands of customers will ask themselves: "What did I listen to before Nubert?
Was my previous hi-fi life worth the time and money?"

Who will pay for all the psychologists needed to look after non-Nubert owners?

Then from an economic point of view. To sell such a transducer at such a price
borders on malice towards the other companies. The job center already has enough clientele.

Ecologically, your boxes are absolutely unsustainable. What happens to the millions and millions of "other" loudspeakers?
They are thrown away or shipped to the third world for dismantling. Can you take responsibility for that?

Politically speaking, your speakers pose a danger to the free audio world that should not be underestimated.
I would just like to pose the question here: Do you want audiophile world domination?

And ... these are just a few points from my catalog of complaints.

Well. Admittedly, your speakers do have a few good points.

They sound outstandingly good. I have to admit that after a few days of intensive enjoyment.
The staggering of the individual systems is balanced and coherent down to the smallest detail.

As a professional musician, I have rarely heard a sound like this.

But that can't be down to your speakers. Because when I sit in front of my system, I don't hear the NuVero 11
as such. There's just music happening in the room. Before, the music came from my
old loudspeakers and they're now in the next room, deafened - so it can't be them. So the music must
just be there. It can't be speakers.
Interim question: Tell me, do I actually have to pay for speakers that I can't hear as such?
So... A word about the bass response. Even at low volumes, it is always correctly proportioned and powerful
powerful according to the power used. Never intrusive or bulky / spongy. Most speakers are
just loudspeakers... yours are also volume meters.
The mids and highs never become intrusive or shrill, even at high power. The bass remains completely fast and incredibly
precise.
This was also confirmed by my neighbors after a midnight extreme use - my phone is now disconnected
because I can't stand the constant questions like: Can you put that song on again?".
The spatial imaging is phenomenal. The musicians are so present in the room that I sometimes want to get up and say
want to get up and say: "Right guys. Come on, it's four o'clock in the morning. I'm tired and have to go to rehearsal in the morning.
Please put out all the fags, take the empty bottles with you and leave the cat here. You can't eat them".
As I listen to a very wide range of music, the spectrum tested ranges from classical to rock, jazz, funk and avant-garde.
Even sound material that is difficult for loudspeakers to process is reproduced with unconditional sensitivity. That
I had never experienced before.
They are also a visual and tactile experience. The Nubis.
I ordered a pair of the "second choice" from your homepage and asked where the "fault lies.
I was assured that it could only be a minor problem with the appearance.
Technically, the speakers were in perfect condition.
I have to vehemently disagree with you!
I checked the boxes thoroughly and neither the scanning electron microscope
nor gas chromatographic or ion resonance spectrometric measurements have shown any defects.
So what does class A look like? Do you sort these boxes according to the molecular structure, according to
left- or right-handed polymer?
The sales pitch.
Monday morning, the week before last. Half out of bed, unshaven, coffee in hand. "Hmmm, you could do with some new boxes.
There were these little Nubert's at a friend's house the other day. They sounded great. Give me a call". The big Lebowski.
No sooner said than done. We musicians also tend to act spontaneously.
When I turn up in a HiFi temple like this, they either think I'm the savior or say: "Used
jack plugs are in the bin at the back, next to the toilets". But...
My conversation partner was also a musician. We briefly discussed the technical details. What do I need, what is
Nubert's equivalent and then we told the usual musician jokes. Absolutely pleasant. Deal with a flick of the wrist.
Perfect.
Fact: Super service, great advice, brilliant speakers and lots and lots of fun.
This is how music should be. In my opinion. I expect the same from my instrument.
I go on stage, play it and it sounds good. That's how hi-fi should be.

Another thing... I've lost almost all my buddies. They're now sitting at home. Laying cables around, putting devices on top of each other - testing power amplifiers.

But, thank you Mr. Nubert. I've never heard anything so great. The NuVero are awesome.

Please finally use my credit card. Otherwise you might get the idea that I'll return the speakers. Nope.

Best regards

...from the red planet...

to you, your team - and the trombone

Yes, how should I start!
I don't think I'm the "standard" Nubert customer yet, but after hearing my friend's NuBox system the other day I was so convinced that I first had to have a look at the homepage to see what Nubert has to offer.
I can't say much about the price/performance "yet", I'm not familiar enough with the high-end/expensive loudspeaker scene for that, but I can say that after my dream motorcycle I've now found another good reason to save money!!!!
But I think this entry says a lot... 😉

So, don't laugh now!
I have 2 Nubox 381 on a compact system in the bedroom. They do their job to my complete satisfaction.
My colleague said, eh, they sound quite good, but there's certainly more to be gained from them. So far I've been too lazy to connect them to my Yamaha RX 3900 or my Integra 9711, but my colleague said. Watch out, I'm going to attach them to my Vincent SV 226.
Eyes roll! What are you doing? Do you want to scrap it?
Said and done.
... the words that followed were: "Fuck you, dude".
Uncle Nubert has built a loudspeaker that he sells to the public for a negligible amount of money and I asked myself what the point of all the testing in various magazines is if they demand that the loudspeakers have to be so and so expensive in relation to the electronics. All I can say is: absolute nonsense and Mr. Nubert: your Mega Chasis with a diameter of 22 cm is absolutely superb and it doesn't just belong in this speaker.
With the Vincent Hybrid AMP there is bass, clarity and stage feeling without end.

For me, the combination of Vincent + Nubert now really makes sense. They fit together like a ... on the bucket. 😬

What a pity,
as a long-time Nubert customer, I am more than disappointed by the development..... I used to buy everything in Aalen (more than 10 years ago) at "Nubert", but now, after "age problems" with the speakers...... Nubert is probably also developing into a "supermarket" like ..*... or...*... PITY

Answer from the Nubert-Team

We are very sorry that you were not satisfied with our service. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to clarify with you or internally what caused your dissatisfaction. We can repair almost all old Nubert speakers, but of course the material and labor costs are not worthwhile for all models. However, under no circumstances can we repair speakers that are more than 50 years old under warranty - perhaps that's what you were hoping for?
