Hello,
I've had the ABL 380 on my NuBoxes for about a week now.
I unpack it, plug it in ... and at first I'm disappointed.
Distorted bass, exaggerated cone excursion, no audible difference in bass depth, just low-frequency humming.
BUT
After reading through the manual I realized that I had my bass boost at +6db
I now have it at +3db and I'm totally blown away. These bass avalanches that are shoved in my face. And YES, it's a fact: deeper, richer, simply *awesomer* than the original NuBox already is and can be.
I personally use this combination in my production studio as monitoring monitors and have now been surprised once again by Günther Nubert 😂 You won't find such bass from such small speakers anywhere else with such precision and response from the diaphragm.
A full recommendation to buy from me and many thanks.
Yours sincerely
Brian Wolff

Hello dear NuTeam, hello fan community,
I have purchased from the Nuberts: Yamaha RX-V2700, 4 x NuBox 511, 1 x Center CS-411 and an AW-991. Great ensemble and kudos to the Nu team!!!
I've now heard that the 911 comes with a plug to close a bass reflex tunnel (or both?). Unfortunately not on mine (well, I can use an old fleece sweater!)! In which cases does this have advantages? Does the bass sound crisper but not as deep? Who has experience with this? The same applies to the 511s. Do they sound even better when the tunnel is sealed? The 991 makes the thunder anyway.
My 4 511s are almost picture-perfect and each at least 20cm away from the wall.
Does anyone have the YAM that I can talk to about settings?
Who has experience with the NuBoxes in conjunction with spikes or absorbers? What are the effects of the phase control potentiometer?
My listening room: WoZi, 7 x 4 meters, fairly reverberant, laminate, hardly any carpet/curtains, lots of glass.
If no one in the forum has any ideas, then perhaps the Nuberts???
PS. I'm currently trying to outwit the 991's automatic switch-on function by raising the AVR's "Gain Out" and using a Y-cinch cable. This regularly switches off at low volume (hopefully not a defect).
Would it perhaps make sense to use a master/slave socket strip here? (AVR as master and 991 switched to continuous operation)
Just by the way: I am very satisfied with the workmanship and sound quality of the NuBoxes. Almost perfect service in Studio Gmünd, finish of the NuBoxes: many others can learn a thing or two from this, living room-friendly and the WAF (woman-acceptance-factor) is right!
I'm still looking for a 40-inch LCD, possibly also plasma, black, with as few frames as possible (like Samsung LE40xxxx) Who has any tips? Doesn't have to be 1080p!
I am open to all suggestions and advice.
Many thanks in advance
Good vibrations

Many thanks for the fast delivery (ordered on Tuesday at 4.25 pm, delivered on Thursday at 10.00 am). I would also like to praise the telephone advice (nice, friendly and extremely helpful). The subwoofer (AW 560) in cherry wood is very well made and really fun to play.
A top product at an extremely fair price!

Hello Nubert Team,
A few weeks ago I received my second Nubert speaker after the AW 880, the CS70. To be honest, I have to say that there is a world of difference between running a small center in small and a full-blown, neatly finished and exceptionally good-sounding CS70 in large. It's as if almost a channel was missing before and now the full sound spectrum has been opened up. I couldn't believe that a TV weighing almost 60 kg could stand on this center, but it works wonderfully!
My thanks to Mr. Nubert for his innovative developments and to the team for their competent and friendly advice.
One thing is for sure, you have a new Nubert fan!

Hello again!
Well, now I'm left spitting in my mouth.
I wrote 3 reports further down (No.897) that the pins for the protective grilles were not properly burnished.
And today I have 4 new ones in my letterbox. 2 days after I wrote this in the guestbook.
Dear Nubert team.
This should not be an invitation to send me new ones 🙂 .
But I was still so pleased that I would like to mention it here again!!!
In times where the word "service desert Germany" is heard again and again, you shine like a bright star in the sky with your service!!!!
I would like to buy a completely new surround set next year in addition to the subwoofer. You can guess 3 times who I'm going to order it from 😂 😂 😂
Thank you very much again!!!!!
Best regards from Spenge

Praise.
I have owned the Nuline 80 for about a year and was not really satisfied due to a difficult listening room with a tendency to drone. Despite countless changes to the speaker positions and using the toggle switches for bass/treble adjustment (and further attempts with spikes, absorbers,...), no coherent sound was achieved. Either the bass and mids were missing or the sound was boomy.
After reading about how the ATM modules work, I had the right module sent to me for a test despite my doubts. The part is a sensation.
The neutral characteristics of the speaker remain untouched. Highs and mids are not "manipulated" or altered. The bass is not louder overall, but only deeper. The ATM module works exactly as described. I can clearly hear the additional 25Hz low bass and all CDs contain what feels like 30% more music. None of my "problem CDs" tend to drone any more.
P.S. Incidentally, the mid/high adjustment is a dream come true for me as a fan of a smoother sound.

Hello dear Nubert team!
I have been thinking about which subwoofer I should buy. I haven't been able to sleep for nights. I searched the internet for hours and hours for test reports.
But somehow I kept coming back to your AW-1500 (although I didn't really want to spend that much money 😉 ).
Then I read the test report on Area Dvd. And there it was written: The AW-1500 left a thud in the room like there was no tomorrow. And that's when my decision was made. It was going to be the woofer. I went to your website and had a look. And lo and behold. As a bargain in black (joy).
So I called you immediately and received very friendly advice.
Unfortunately, I only made one mistake. I ordered on a Thursday. Can you imagine how long it took until this stupid weekend was finally over 😬 😬 😬 😬
Oh well. I survived it.
And then my subwoofer finally arrived 😂 😂 😂
Despite being my second choice, I can't find anything (but nothing at all) about the woofer that made it my second choice. Tip top workmanship. Thumbs up for that!!!!
I also had a subwoofer before and thought I could imagine what low tones sounded like. Fiddlesticks. Because I couldn't. Now I can not only hear them but also feel them. Can you imagine how long it took me to get that satisfied grin off my face again?
Great, great and great again.
I am very satisfied.
However, I did find one very tiny Minnimanko. It's the pins that hold the protective grille in place. The plate that sits on the grille seems to me to be burnished. Unfortunately, 3 of them didn't arrive here properly burnished. I would give your supplier a rap on the knuckles.
But now it's time to stop complaining.
I would like to thank you. For making someone happy and satisfied with your product. I will recommend you wherever I can.
And if you're still wondering whether to buy the AW-1500. Think no further. Your search is over. Order now.
Best regards from Spenge

P.S.: I hope it's ok that I've used your first names

Hello dear readers and Nubert team!
After 2 years of enthusiastic use of the NuWave 85
I would like to express my praise. After listening to Magnat for over 20 years
I bought the Nubert and don't regret a cent of it.
All the CDs I thought I knew are as good as new and I'm really looking forward to all the new CDs I bring home from the store,
to listen to them with the 85. Here's a tip on placement: make sure you point the speakers at the listening position and a little further away from the wall, as this makes the sound even more concise and pleasant. (Audio also recommended this).
Because I am so enthusiastic, I have of course recommended the Nubert speakers to others. A friend of mine ordered the NuLine 80 because they look better in her home.
Unfortunately, there are now 4 weeks! delivery time (Nubert must be doing well!?
but who's surprised)
Well, the anticipation is also nice and I'm really keen to connect the parts to her at home.
So Nubert women and men - keep up the good work and develop many more of these super products at affordable prices and fair test offers at home. Thank you!!!

I've owned the 400s for a good nine months.
They were powered by a newer Panasonic AV receiver.
The sound wasn't bad, but I was expecting a little more, especially in the bass range.
As I hardly ever watch movies, I bought a stereo system with a Denon PMA-500AE amplifier plus a matching Denon CD player.
Now the speakers really show what they can do. Full bass even at room volume, clean highs and without loudness. Listening for hours on end is now a real pleasure.
Nubert delivers what it promises, fast delivery and top quality at an affordable price.
