hio,

I ordered 2x Nubox 381 on Thursday afternoon. Transfer was made on Friday morning, boxes arrived on Wednesday.
=> rather average speed
Everything was fine with the packaging, well and securely packed, but how are you supposed to carry such a large box weighing over 20kg up to the 3rd floor without any problems. You could expect more comfort, just 2 holes in the sides would be enough, moving boxes also have them, and for good reason!
Then immediately unpacked and connected, after I had to strip the speaker cables (could have been done already). Immediately started playing music.
Before that I had no idea how low 50Hz actually is, I thought I needed a subwoofer for the music, for real bass, but that's not the case!!! 50Hz is already damn deep, deeper than I had ever hoped for and without the annoying scratching noises from the speakers, which I was used to from my old speakers (but some furniture starts to vibrate at these levels). They even play extra bass-test techno with artificially generated bass without any problems. Not to mention the sound resolution (better than with 3-way speakers) and the power handling (50W without problems, more was too loud for me 😉 )
I am 100% satisfied with the speakers. I was still wondering whether 400? was too much for the speakers, as I'm still a student, but it was definitely worth it!!!
Despite the small defects (which can easily be rectified), I would be very happy to buy again!!!!

Greetings

Benedict

Hello "Nubert Team"....

yesterday (07.02.06) I ordered a couple of wall brackets for my NuBox 360 via the Internet. This morning around 10.30 they were already delivered... that's what I call PROMPT... not to mention the shipping costs (absolutely fair). Other companies could take a leaf out of their book !!!!

THANKS !!!!!!

Greetings... Thomas

I've had a pair of Nubox 360LEs + a "third-party subwoofer" for 15 months. The sound of the Nubox 360 has always been great for me. What annoyed me was the combination with the subwoofer. Sometimes too loud, sometimes too spongy and so on. Despite intensive trial and error and moving the subwoofer back and forth, I couldn't get a satisfactory sound. Then I came to the decision to buy a larger speaker that I could also use without a sub. After a lot of research and several emails with H.Härer, I decided on the Nubox 681. I was able to get it at a slightly lower price from the bargain market and then ordered it and had it delivered very quickly. I'll try to describe how I perceive the speakers. I should perhaps mention that I am a professional musician and spend several hours a day dealing with real instruments and their sound. And that's where I come in: there are instruments that you pick up, play on or with, and they sound good. There are also instruments that you can try as hard as you like, but they don't sound good because they simply aren't good. The Nuboxes definitely belong to the first category. So now I come home in the evening, switch on my system and don't worry about which control, which equalizer or which level I need to adjust, I just enjoy the sound of the music that others have recorded to be played back through the Nuboxes 😬
Best regards from the Münsterland, U.Dirks

I have owned the Nubox511 since today. I am thrilled. These speakers sound very linear and balanced. The workmanship is top! One thing is clear, if I need good speakers again, I'll come back to you.

We have had our Nubox 481 for 2 weeks now. Nubert will not be getting them back. It took a while, I had to move the speakers several times, then I had to get used to the sound - I had a high-quality DIY system for almost 20 years. Now everything is fine. Yesterday I listened to a Faithless DVD in DTS format at a good level and I have to say I'm very satisfied. Unfortunately, I now also have to buy a center speaker from Nubert.

Everything is great!

My conclusion:

Hello,
can you say something about the power an amplifier needs to be equipped with in order to drive your speakers ? For example, I like the nuWave35 at first sight, but I read that it has a rated power handling of 150W. However, my amplifier only delivers approx. 30 W sine wave power per channel. Could this speaker be operated with this or does this play a subordinate role?
What about floorstanding speakers with this power?

AW-1000:
Unpacked, immediately convinced by the build quality and after the first movie with adequate background bass at original volume, the certainty that the money is not better spent anywhere and that I will not part with this device again. Four weeks of trial listening are superfluous 🙂

Hello,

Order: Ordered a pair of NuWave35 speakers, MS-97 stands and 4 mm2 speaker cable on Wednesday evening last week (ls-3-07-01319), everything arrived on Friday. very nice

Setting up: When setting up, threading the wide cable into the tube of the stand was very difficult. The combination of 4 mm2 cable and MS stand is not recommended. The assembly instructions are also somewhat cryptic and the assignment of parts/numbers is not correct.
Question: Should the boxes be screwed to the stand plate? and wouldn't it be better if there were already threads in the base of the boxes for this purpose?

Sound/evaluation: I first tested the speakers with my old amplifier, Denon PMA-715R. A beautiful, detailed sound and then with a NAD-352: additional details, bass range more finely resolved, analytical sound (good!). Familiar CDs come to new life. Listening is 'less encouraging for the ear'.
My wife and I liked the terracotta-colored front of the speakers so much that we won't be using the metal grilles.
Question: No screws were supplied for the grilles, is that correct?

Overall impression: An inexpensive product with which we look forward to many hours of music enjoyment. We are amateur musicians and appreciate the linear reproduction of the speakers. We had previously considered buying a pair of monitor speakers for the DAW for listening to music and are happy to have chosen NuBert.

Thank you very much!
