...since December 23rd a nuWave 125 pair has been playing (working) in my home together with center and rear speakers from the same series and a Sony Dsp AZ2 (CD & DVD coaxial connection). I was more than curious to see what this loudspeaker (clearly not a good choice of words, musical instrument is a better choice!) would produce. So, first the Tindersticks Curtains-another night in rented rooms-very deep, dry bass, the whole room becomes a stage (attic, sloping ceilings), mid and high frequencies seem a bit busy on the first day, so let it play in and see or hear what the second day brings. 24.12. Christmas passes me by, freezing rain outside but in the apartment, a sound that slowly begins to inspire me. But it's not really the sound that delights me, it's the absence of speakers! I hear music as it was recorded and mixed. So it's going to be a classical music day, let's hear how the nuwaves take this offer? I'm sure speakers don't grimace, yet I think they smiled. (Respighi, Vivaldi, Satie, Bach, Ravel). On December 29th, my wife reminded me of her existence, so I had to put my music preferences on hold and let her take control of the remote controls (Mr. J. Cocker, Talking Heads, Al Di Meola, Zappa, Doors and George Winston). On 31.12. I reminded my wife of this.... Joking aside, where is the fly in the ointment? Ah, the side panel of the right speaker (sorry) shows the slightest concave deformations! They don't bother me, without a straightedge, magnifying glass and close observation there's nothing to see. My wife is happy again, and so am I. I don't want to say any more about the 5.1 qualities of this system, it's not worth it, just listen to it after you've played it in. mfG Wolf

Dear Nubert team, I am now the extremely happy owner of a Nuline CS-150 center speaker. I must praise the speedy dispatch (ordered on Friday at 1 pm, arrived on Saturday!), the outstanding workmanship (fine real wood veneer, flush-mounted drivers, metal grille without sharp edges), the excellent resolution in the mids and highs (without appearing sharp), the enormous precision and, given the size of the cabinet, the almost unbelievable depth of the bass. Voices come across very naturally, the whole sound image is extremely balanced and, above all, spatially very precise. They won the comparison with all other center speakers (T+A, Heco Mythos, Elac 201, Canton CM52 & Karat Center, Magnate Vintage, Teufel M300C). Price / performance very good, advice nice, even if a little short and urgent (a lot to do ?). I'll be ordering more speakers from you soon, I'm fed up with the well-known test winners at rock-bottom prices. Best regards Elmar BAttenberg, Oberaula

I bought the nuBox 310 some time ago. After an initial misplacement, these little wonders have now found the right place in my office. Although I have two floorstanding speakers (test winners) from a well-known German company in my living room, I am delighted with the impulsiveness of these bookshelf speakers. I would never have thought that a 2-way speaker like the Nubert 310 could be so capable of deep bass. Compliments Mr. Nubert!

Hello nubiFan! Thank you very much for this nasty insinuation! I hope you didn't really laugh yourself to death. It would be a shame to lose a real nubi fan... Nevertheless: Happy New Year!

Thank you again for the patient and detailed advice and flexibility to Mr. Siegle!!! The nuWave 125s (even with the slightly undersized Marantz PM 8000) are really fun after a certain break-in period and getting used to them (in my opinion, you have to learn to listen all over again!)! The presence of the music is incredible - I used to sit opposite the orchestra or the band - now I'm sitting right in the middle of it! I hear tones and sounds where before ... yes, what? Yes, what was that? Especially basses with a depth that I only knew live - and highs and mids that I find incredibly present. The whole room is full of music - what am I saying: the whole house! GreetinX'nBlezzinX P.S.: It seems to me that all I need now is an ABL module for stereophile happiness 😂

my nuwave 125 arrived today. i was already as excited as a little kid 😂 but then i was horrified 😱 they were coffins that were delivered by ups. if i didn't go to the gym, we wouldn't have got them into the apartment in the first place 🙂 so then the speakers were in my apartment. but i was alone and i am alone (single), so unpacking them took a lot of work. i was lucky and was able to get hold of the speakers for 868 euros a piece at the bargain market. i didn't find any faults (scratches, etc.) and that's a good thing 😬. my old t+a tas 2000e was unwired and then the nuwave 125 was plugged in. my power amplifier: Uher uma 2000a with a whopping 21.5 kilos in weight and an output of really 2 x420 watts into 4 ohms was already looking forward to it. 😂 what came next put everything in the basement. i no longer need my subwoofer from canton and you can now buy my t+a at auction on e-bay. hopefully no nuwave 150 will come along, because then i would go soft. greetings from hesse uli

Hi folks, here's a report on my (first) visit to Nubert: Despite the long journey (approx. 350 km), I can say that the visit was worthwhile in several respects. On the one hand, after purchasing my 310s about 10 months ago, I wanted to get an impression of whether and if so, what quantum leaps in terms of sound improvement would come with a new purchase. The following observations were made: 1. the quality of the 310s is truly outstanding considering their size. The neutral tuning and the surprisingly powerful bass (for this size) really make them a speaker with character, which is more than sufficient for a music lover without high-end ambitions and (like me) is capable of providing the listener with many hours of first-class musical enjoyment. However, the 310's limits are where you want a powerful low bass, which is also the reason for me to look around for something else. Now to the alternative in the shelf speaker range, the NuWave 3 or NuLine 30: I was disappointed by the gain in sound quality without ABL. I would have expected a little more from a speaker that costs almost twice as much (NuWave) or a little more than twice as much (NuLine). However, the situation is different with the ABL switched on: You actually think you have a speaker twice the size in front of you and the bass now really goes in the direction of real low bass and that dry and without distortion or booming. Brilliant! It's just a shame that the device has a really proud price. Perhaps NSF should consider integrating the ABL permanently into the LS, as has already been suggested several times in the forum. The other observation I made relates to the appearance and visual quality of the NuLine vs. NuWave series. The disappointment first: the real wood veneer of the NuLine only looks really classy to my taste in the cherry version; I was particularly disappointed by the beech version I had previously favored, which had a very artificial sheen due to the varnish used. On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by the high-quality appearance of the NuWave models. The presentation on the Internet and in the printed advertising material is very deceptive here. The differences in sound between the NuLine and NuWave were also clearer than expected. The NuWave sounds noticeably more balanced than the descriptions (e.g. from Mr. Nubert himself in the forum) suggest. A worthwhile listening comparison. Finally, a big word of praise for the service: although the store was packed and the (astonishing) number of consultants were sometimes running around like mad, I was never urged to hurry in the listening studios. It was also very positive to note that none of the consultants suggested or forced a judgment on me. Instead, they made a great effort to listen to my wishes and needs and tried to help me further. In short: the kind of advice you could only wish for. A Merry Christmas and a successful year 2003 to all NSF employees Kubrick
