Ladies and gentlemen, after four weeks I have now received my Nubert 360 speakers in the normal version. It was worth the wait, the speakers look very good and the sound is a pleasure. After the ordering process was a little bumpy at first, I have to say that Nubert's customer orientation is always there, even for customers who can't cope with the different versions of the products. After all, ordering from a catalog is not the same as picking up a few speakers in a department store. Perhaps you could consider making the order form foolproof. Incidentally, you should delete my first entry in your guestbook. The matter has been settled. Yours sincerely, Erko Grömig

Actually, I didn't want to comment on Mr. Grömig's entry. We undoubtedly made the mistake of processing the order for normal-colored boxes immediately and sending the statistically best-selling (black) boxes. We should have made an inquiry and possibly left the order so long. Sorry, Mr. Grömig! But why am I still writing? Isn't it wonderful to have customers who support the Nubert Speaker Factory of their own free will? Thank you very much, Mr. Guenther !!!!

This may not belong here, but I would like to comment on a publication by Mr. Erko Grömig Friday, 17.08.2001 at 09:23. As a very satisfied Nubert customer, I wrote him the following email: Dear Mr. Grömig, I am extremely satisfied with the Nubert company and wonder, not only for this reason, why you publish your undefined complaint in the guestbook ? Perhaps you just wanted to vent ? You have neither written how and which speakers you ordered nor any other details of interest to prospective Nubert customers. However, you have provided your complete address details. Such an unreflective opinion is nevertheless published unseen by Nubert, which speaks for the company's ability to deal with conflict, doesn't it? If I were Mr. Nubert, however, I would not have published your pamphlet, as it is definitely of no use to anyone except possibly you. I just find it annoying to write such subjective statements in a guestbook that are in no way comprehensible. However, I consider it extremely tolerant that Ms. Völkel from Nubert responded immediately and in a friendly manner, and perhaps you will reconsider your approach, Mr. Grömig? Yours sincerely, Roland Günther

Another positive entry: My NuLine80s, which I've owned for three weeks now, continue to give me new, unexpected listening pleasure every day, and the look/design also makes me happy every day anew. And today again a very positive message in the Nubert service area: as I use a relatively powerful, bass-emphasized power amplifier (Kenwood Basic M2) with my NL80s, I had the impression that the NL80s were doing a bit too much of a good thing, i.e. booming a bit in the bass range, although I had switched off the sound control of my preamplifier (Denon PRA 1500).I wrote an email to Nubert describing my (subjective) impression and the next day received an extremely satisfactory solution from Mr. Bühler (product consultant), who immediately offered me 3 real solutions.that's what I call service! in my case I decided to buy the ABL-8/80 module, which should considerably extend the low bass and eliminate the bass boost at 80Hz, which is probably responsible for my booming.I'll wait and see what it does and then report back.

I've been a proud user of the ABL 3 magic box for a few days now and I'm running out of superlatives. I was already completely enthusiastic about the nuWave 3 - and secretly dreamed of a floorstanding speaker. When I heard about the bass linearization module - what else could I do but try it out! This was preceded by a patient consultation with Mr. Bühler, which revolved around one question in particular: subwoofer or ABL 3. I am overwhelmed! The bass extension is phenomenal with jazz and pop. At first I put on CDs where the bass sounds quite mature even without the ABL 3, at least at higher volumes. But even Stevie Wonder (Motown sound), for example, is a completely new experience with ABL 3 - it's got low bass on it! With classical music, the effect is more subtle, the orchestra seems wider, you can hear the gentle murmur of the room and, with live recordings, the 100-fold heartbeat of the audience. The bass extension never seems artificial, I prefer it to a subwoofer, unpack it, plug it in and be amazed. The controllability is also a fine thing. The power requirement of the circuit is less than I feared, the impression of a cleanly working floorstanding speaker is maintained up to tolerable volumes (amp with 60 watts). In addition, the mature bass reproduction means that a lower volume is sufficient for authentic impressions. Despite the higher load on the amplifier and the considerably greater excursion at the cones, there is no deterioration in the overall impression - on the contrary! Male voices sound more mature and realistic, they lose the last bit of cardboard in the sound, which is probably due to the linearization of the usual and otherwise necessary upper bass boost in small speakers. The ripple of the bass intensity in the room also decreases, which is probably due to the same reason. At the same time, the spatial impression improves significantly with good recordings, an effect that I cannot explain. This raises the question of whether single-channel subwoofers are not rather detrimental to good stereo recordings. However, the ABL 3 also demonstrates the outstanding precision of the nuWave 3's bass-midrange driver. I think the floorstanding speakers should also benefit impressively from the bass linearization. Thanks to the built-in high-pass filter, the little box also eliminates the rumble of my record player almost in passing - the gentle rocking of the cones disappears and makes way for the impressive vibrato of deep organ pipes and plucked double basses. I used to think that Günther Nubert's speakers would push the technical and physical limits perfectly in their respective price ranges. The ABL module is a real surprise: Günther Nubert has found a new technical way to reproduce music even more realistically. Thank you very much for this wonderful gift!

So, today I got them. I was quite skeptical in view of all the advance praise, but what I heard after plugging them in was really great! Nubert should be sued for the addictive sound coming out of this pair of great looking speakers. Thank you very much for the individual advice/order by phone and thank you also for the fact that I can now listen to my entire vinyl/CD collection all over again.... because I think I have missed one or two subtleties up to now. With this in mind, keep up the good work and see you next time.

Three months ago I bought the AW-7 subwoofer (bargain site, a really small scratch on the front that was barely noticeable and disappeared immediately under the front panel -> 10% discount was justified). Again, this is not a really badly damaged unit being sold. I have a high-quality Linn active system and accordingly wanted a subwoofer (in terms of price and sound) to match, e.g. Linn or REL. Unfortunately, I had to switch to a cheaper subwoofer. As I had already read so many good things about Nubert speakers, I simply gave it a try. I ordered it on Friday and it arrived on Monday. First impression: The packaging is exceptionally good and secure. Nothing can really break. The documentation is exemplary. Installation/set-up options and room acoustics are described very well. At first I wasn't sure whether the bass might not lag a little behind the fast, active Linn speakers. Once the subwoofer was correctly adjusted, it rounded off the sound image very nicely at the bottom. The missing piece of the puzzle had finally been found. It blends unobtrusively into the sound, but also delivers a powerful punch when required. You should take your time setting it up -> the bass doesn't have to make your pants shake all the time, although it is perfectly capable of doing so. (The neighbors will thank you.) In the beginning you always want to hear and feel it... :o) I have one more comment: In my opinion, spikes/cones are better suited for decoupling than the dampers recommended by Nubert for DM 90. The bass gains noticeably in precision/control and is no longer so loud in some passages. The RCA cable to the bass speaker should also be taken into consideration. Depending on the quality of the cable, differences are definitely audible, although not as strong as with the Spikes rubber dampers. But this is more a matter of taste and a question of budget or preference. In any case, potential should not be wasted unnecessarily, because the subwoofer has plenty of it! I can recommend Nubert to anyone without hesitation, especially as the price/performance ratio is very good, you have 4 weeks to try them out and you get your money back promptly if the speakers don't suit your taste. P.S.: I really like the design and the clarity of the homepage. Keep up the good work!
