I've had my NuWave10 for about 6 weeks now and I'm quite enthusiastic about the clean sound (little bass ???!!???) But it's probably true that the movie theater experience in particular is probably enhanced with a subwoofer. Let's see, there's still some saving to be done. A word about the service . Wherever people work, mistakes can occur. The speed with which these errors are rectified and the goodwill shown by Nubert should set an example for the competition! Especially when things don't go so smoothly, you can recognize good service. I am very satisfied! Jörg Nixdorf

A brief word about Nubert: they have been developing excellent loudspeakers themselves for 20 years, primarily through direct sales, which is why their price-performance ratio is unbeatable and has already been reflected in various tests in various trade journals. The new nuLine series was announced for the beginning of August and after doing some research I decided to take the risk and order the speakers without hearing them first, in my case the nuLine80 in cherry veneer. Saturday delivery was no problem, the speakers arrived professionally packaged. First impression after unpacking: excellent workmanship, cherry veneer like expensive furniture. Spikes and the corresponding holes on the underside of the speakers included and the front cover fits perfectly in terms of design. I set them up and connected them to my reference system (Denon VV PRA-1500 and Kenwood Basic M2 power amplifier), put on some CDs and my enthusiasm knows almost no bounds. For my taste, the nuLine80s definitely produce a very homogeneous, clean sound, somewhat bass-emphasized, which I personally like very much. No more subjective listening impressions, because this is really a matter of personal feeling/taste and depends on too many factors. My first conclusion: The nuLine 80s are 1. excellent in terms of sound and 2. also in terms of workmanship and Nubert's service is 3. exemplary anyway. By the way, I even received an email from a Nubert employee today, Saturday, asking if the shipment had arrived - nice touch, I think! By the way, power handling: I tested it briefly today, but the neighbors complained too much before I reached the critical limit, my power amplifier was almost yawning and the nuLine 80 was already putting out something dry and very clean, so also excellent efficiency and bass right into the belly. Incidentally, I also used speaker cables and the excellent terminals from Nubert, highly recommended

Subject: Sale of nuForm 60 I have owned the nuBox 300 for several years and use it universally for television, video and music. I think these speakers are the best you can buy for 200 DM. I have already posted about this in the guestbook. The nuForm 60 is now on sale at half price, then an e-mail and a phone call with Mr. Bühler, the nuForm 60 are now in my living room. First a comment on the shipping. I was a bit skeptical because the parcel services, well, sometimes things fall over. But I can reassure everyone that the packaging of the NUBERT speakers is perfect, it can be a bit bumpy, nothing happens to the speakers so quickly. So then unpacked and marveled at the workmanship and the things are chic and, yes, I'll stop. Now to compare them with the 300s. And what can I say, the first time I hear it quietly, the sound is amazingly similar. For me it was a direct hit as I also use the speakers for TV sound and was impressed by the clarity of voices and subtleties of the 300's. Now, the nuForm 60 can do even better without ever sounding sharp and intrusive. Now music: put the SPIKE CD in the player and press play. Up to moderate levels there are similarities to the 300, the nuForm 60 is a little more precise and relaxed, but when the level gets higher, the two are clearly separated, which was to be expected, there is a shock for the neighbors. Conclusion: Nubert's basic goals are recognizable, precision in sound compared to the original sound always within the framework of price-performance and speaker size. Some people find that the NUBERT speakers don't have enough bass; I can tell you that the speakers even have a powerful bass, but they only transmit it if the software contains it. Nubert speakers only bring to the ear what comes from the signal of the power amplifier, no less but also no more and that's a good thing, that's HiFi! This principle is followed and implemented in all Nubert series in the respective price range, I can now confirm it. When higher perfection and quality is sought, the costs for development and components rise disproportionately to the initial product, as is the case in all industries. This is also the case in speaker manufacturing, which is why a nuForm costs three times the price of a comparable nuBox, although there are even basic similarities between David and Goliath, as described above. The sale of the nuForm 60 has made it possible for me to own such a pair, and I have finally found my dream speakers. Stefan Redlich PS: I am not bribed, just convinced

Two weeks ago I bought the nuWave-10 surround set with CS-4, AW-7 and RS-5 and I'm extremely happy with it, even though the whole package wasn't exactly cheap. In any case, you should combine the nuWave-10, which offers incredible precision and brilliance in sound, with the AW7 subwoofer, as the nuWave-10 is somewhat weak in the bass range. You should also be aware that this nuWave set emphasizes natural sound, so that a big bass roar really only occurs when it is intended in the respective sound image. This makes acoustic shock effects in movies in particular a real horror experience, when the soft sound of natural voices turns into a loud roar or a bang without any warning. The spatial resolution is also tremendous. The sound is cleaner and more precise than in any movie theater I know. It was also surprising that the sound impression at home was much better than in the Nubert store in Aalen, where I bought my system. Many thanks to Mr. Schneider, who looked after me with great patience and competence during my two-hour listening test. This set clearly has its strengths in home theater and pop music, but it's not bad with classical music either. However, for die-hard classical music fans, a floorstanding speaker with more bass capacity would be more recommendable. Conclusion: An all-round recommendable speaker set, but one that should always be combined with a subwoofer.

Hello, I would like to take this opportunity to praise the website, which has improved considerably recently. And please stick to the simple design - short loading times, clear pages and good information are more important than colorful gimmicks. I would particularly like to emphasize the special technical information - hardly any other competitor lets you look into their cards like this. And the myths of high-end users are also thoroughly dispelled. By the way: did you see the photo in the Stiftung Warentest magazine of an expensive competitor's crossover wired to nails? You could get really B*SE if you looked directly at it! Want a link? Laugh along at http://home.foni.net/~gerald-vogt/bxse701.jpg

Hello to all ! I would like to buy new front speakers for my home theater system and came across this site! I have already read in various trade journals that Nubert offers really good quality speakers at fair prices. Now my question: Which speaker from the Nubert series can I recommend? I'm flirting with the Nubox 360, but I'm not sure if it's enough for my purposes! I mainly use my system for listening to music (from CD and TV) but also for watching DVDs! My taste in music is more in the direction of techno, crossover and R'nB. This means that I also like to listen a little louder and want a powerful bass! Can I use the Nubox 360 on a stand for such purposes? My room is 25 square meters, my digital amplifier is a Yamaha DSP - A 595a with about 100 watts sinus per channel, my subwoofer is a small Canton AS 20, my center is a Canton AV 700, as a rear speaker I currently (unfortunately) still use 2 speakers of my former compact system. Another question is the following: I have laid laminate flooring in my room, and the bass from the subwoofer sometimes booms quite unpleasantly! How can I prevent this ? perhaps by placing it in a special position in the room.....? I hope a reader or the Nubert team can give me an answer.... Thanks in advance! MfG Björn Schön

While looking through my files, I found the documents from the purchase of my Nubox 360 speakers 3 years ago. There's no need to comment on these speakers, because once I'd heard them, even my wife didn't want to give them up and these sound wonders have been part of the family ever since. Even though it's been a long time, we would still like to express our satisfaction, they are simply great and indispensable. Thank you

Dear Nubert employees, is there any Nubert speaker data for the CARA 1.1/2.0 room acoustics program? I am still trying out various positions for my NuWave speakers for a pentagonal room. Best regards, M. Thölking
