I have had Nubert speakers including 3 ABL modules for more than 6 years now. Now one of the latter's power supply units has broken, presumably because of a power strip with fuse caps. I just wanted to ask if it would be possible to send me a replacement part and how much it would cost me. 12 hours later, the replacement part was on its way without any discussion. And as a gesture of goodwill! 🙂

Another great service from Nubert. Respect and thank you!

The nuPro family is growing and growing. Very much so! But one product is still missing:

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, build active, slim stereo wall speakers for TVs only!

As flat as the nuLine WS-14 (approx. 11 cm), for example, as wide as the speaker chassis need to be, high enough to fit the most common TV sizes (approx. 80 cm), with a bass reflex port facing downwards (or closed), with a vertically recessed HDMI connection.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! I would also pre-order and pay in advance? 😂

Answer from the Nubert-Team

Thank you for your "request". If it were that easy, we would be happy to comply with your request. As we have already explained several times in the nuForum, the integration of an HDMI interface and wireless functions in our current nuPro platform is not possible for various reasons. And it is currently not an option for us to take any of the run-of-the-mill active electronics available on the market and use them to build a flat-panel loudspeaker. In the medium term, we will unfortunately have to pass.

A few months ago I wanted to fulfill a dream and bought the NAD C326Bee integrated amplifier and the nuBox683. After a lot of experimenting with the nuBox tone selector switches, the speaker location and the bass/treble controls, I finally found a sound that I was happy with - but nothing more. To be honest, the sound was a little too dull for my taste, with too little brilliance. The bass, especially the low bass, was overwhelming. But bass was/is less important to me.
It was more by chance that I became aware of the corresponding ATM module. The customer reviews and the very friendly and knowledgeable Nubert service convinced me. The delivery arrived two days after ordering, fast and good as always with Nubert.
I connected the module between the preamplifier and power amplifier. As the sound was a little too dull for me, I turned the mid/treble control approx. 2 mm to the right on suspicion, left the bass control in the middle position and switched the system on. The first song was Infidelity by Skunk Anansie.
What I then heard was not the same system. The band was standing about seven meters in front of me and playing live. The already good, deep bass was even clearer and more powerful. The mids and highs are unbeatable in terms of brilliance, resolution and clarity. How does that work? If you close your eyes, you can hear the exact positions of the individual instruments and the singer. Absolute madness.
The price/performance ratio is outstanding. A clear recommendation to buy.

We are delighted that you have found the perfect sound for your particular listening environment with our "magic box" ATM. The ATM modules are designed precisely for such fine sound tuning in addition to the familiar bass extension and control options. We and certainly most of our customers cannot understand why a nuBox 683 sounds 'a little too dull, not brilliant enough'.

I've owned the nuPro A-100 for about a week now and I'm more than thrilled. No distortion even at high volumes, lots of accessories included and many connection options. I previously had a product from a competitor, but had to send it back and this time I wanted to test the nuPro. At first I thought that they might be a little too small, but no, these great speakers are more than enough for my space! (4mx4m room)

The only thing I find a little crass are the shipping costs, with an amount of 560? still 17? shipping? P/L is as I said more than ok from the LS speakers, but shipping as I said quite high.

I've owned the NuLine 284 for more than 3 years now and have never really been convinced by the loudspeakers, but I recently received a pair of old NuBox 390s as a gift from a friend. When I connected them to my amplifier, I was amazed to discover that the NuBox sounded worlds better in my living room than the NuLine. It may be due to the bass reflex port, which is at the front of the NuBox, or something else, but for me this is exactly the right speaker. I have experimented a lot with the NuLine 284, be it absorbers, amplifiers, etc. It may be that the NuLine 284 is an excellent loudspeaker, but it is extremely sensitive as far as the room is concerned.

Thank you for your feedback - even if it expresses your disappointment. It is precisely because space plays such an important role that we offer our customers a 30-day exchange or return policy. Unfortunately, we cannot offer this after 3 years. However, you may be able to find a buyer at nuMarkt and then switch to nuBox 483 or nuLine 84?

I bought a second AW 17 subwoofer. During testing I noticed that the automatic switch-on was defective.
It was repaired in Duisburg by Mr. Gereon Krause and Simon Hinsenhofen in a very short time . I liked this solution better than sending it to UPS.
The bass reproduction is already excellent with an AW 17 , but two reproduce the low tones even more differentiated .
No movie theater I know of can do that .

Unfortunately, Nubert was not at the High End Swiss 2015 trade fair in Regensdorf, Switzerland this year. I would have loved to hear the new NuVero. Maybe next year again?

Answer from the Nubert-Team

Organizing and staging a trade fair - especially abroad - is very time-consuming and costly. We have decided to alternate our nuPresence at the trade fairs in Switzerland and Austria. So there is good hope for 2016!

I switched from the nuBox 481 to the nuLine 84 and the upgrade was definitely worth it! The workmanship of the speaker is impeccable and the walnut veneer makes a very classy impression. The most important thing is of course the sound, and here the 2.5-way speaker delivers a very good result:

- Clear beautiful treble but not too aggressive, very pleasant.
- Mids are reproduced cleanly.
- The small floorstanding speaker can handle bass, and how.

My expectations have once again been met to my complete satisfaction with the Nubert nuLine 84. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a small floorstanding speaker in this price range.

Dear Nubert team, please keep up the good work!

I recently took the opportunity to visit Nubert in Aalen. After making an appointment by phone, I wanted to get my own impression of Nubert speakers. Result: I left with the NuLine 34 and the ATM 34.
Very friendly advice and plenty of time in the listening room gave me and my wife the opportunity to test all the speakers in question. Set up at home, they more than stood up to comparison with the almost 27-year-old ALR No. 4 floorstanding speaker. I can only recommend that you see for yourself the quality of the speakers on offer.

I've had the nuPro A-300 for a good year now and I'm still delighted: excellent sound, lots of connection and adjustment options, and all at an extremely fair price. I was really worried about whether the speakers would be able to replace my previous fully active Linn Ninka, but that has now been resolved. Perhaps the voices have a touch less "fatness", but the whole sound spectrum is wonderfully airy and deep at the same time. The speaker stands supplied seem rather flimsy and wobbly and also lack any kind of resonance damping. Perhaps there is still room for improvement. If I had three wishes:
- Possibility of limiting the frequency range at 35 Hz as well. It's quite a big step from 30 to 40 Hz, and you want to make the most of the great bass capabilities of these speakers.
- Wood veneer as another option
- A 3-way floorstanding speaker without bass reflex, otherwise based on the same principle - that should be an absolute hoot. But I already suspect that it could "cannibalize" some of our own products...

Keep up the good work, dear Nubert team, you've given me a lot of pleasure!
