Poor service

I was back in Schwäbisch Gmünd in November 2013 to listen to the NuVero 14 again and possibly give it to myself for Christmas. I've been involved with high-end for over fifty years and have really traveled a lot. Basically, I always try to be as purist as possible, so ideally no possibilities of influencing the sound. The problem that arises here is bad recordings or hard rock, they just don't sound good. Hence my hope: NuVero 14 with ATM. After repeated extensive listening tests, however, I realized that the NuVero 14 is an ingenious speaker, but that my desired effect did not materialize. A little frustrated, I wanted to move away, but then my wife noticed the NuPro "Böxla", so I gave them a try. The placement in the listening room was not yet optimal, but the sound was not bad. The decision was made to take the NuPro's A300 with me and use them in parallel with my full-size floorstanding speakers for the music described above. Once they were installed at home, it was time to try them out. At first I couldn't really believe what I was hearing! The A300s are incredible, the resolution, spatiality, fine detail and dynamics are just right. The biggest surprise, however, was the bass foundation, unbelievable what comes out of these small speakers. According to the specifications, the frequency range starts at around 30Hz and that is absolutely credible. I tested my existing speakers (German high-end product 160cm high, price range 8000.-? and tube amplifier) all over the place, what I heard I couldn't believe and above all I didn't want to believe, the sound of the NuPro's was simply better! In certain situations, the ?big? In certain situations, there is a little more bass foundation with the "big" speakers, but this small advantage does not outweigh the advantages of the A300. It may also have something to do with our living room acoustics (approx. 27m²) that the effect is so extreme. I imagine that I can perceive this often described effect of the point sound source with the NuPro's, simply super, i.e. my big ones have had their day and will be replaced.
There is only one small criticism: the remote control doesn't do the NuPro's justice, it works perfectly, but the feel is very cheap. Given the super low price, that's perfectly fine as an extra, but I wish you could buy a high-quality remote control (like the one for the DSP subwoofers) as an accessory, it would definitely be worth 100.

On Monday 13.01.14 I ordered the Nuvero AW-13 Sub. and on 14.01.14 it arrived by UPS. Thanks again for the super fast and very reliable delivery. Of course I unpacked it straight away and connected it up. Made a few basic settings and off I went. Yes, what can I say, it's a super sub that fits perfectly into my Nuvero chain (Nuvero 11,7,4). Now everything is perfect for home theater and music enjoyment.

Today something about the service concept at Nubert. On 13.1.2014 at 5.45 pm my call in Aalen. Unfortunately, the device was sold out on the same day. Ms. Reinecke called me back at 5.50 pm and told me that there was still a display unit available in Schwäbisch Gemünd. By 5.55 p.m. I had bought and paid for the appliance. Now the most important thing: I absolutely needed the AV receiver by 15.1.2014. Discussed, very friendly, done. Device delivered to my front door by UPS on 15.1.2014. WOW! Extra class. Many, many thanks, also expressly to Ms. Sandra Reinecke. I have already bought here and I will buy here again. And I will recommend Nubert to everyone who wants to know, and I will convince all skeptics of the opposite. Of course, I don't just mean the service. The products are beyond reproach anyway.

In terms of sound, the speakers are beyond reproach and I can only agree with the previous speakers. In contrast to my "old" A-10, the speakers have a more powerful sound and are even clearer in their presentation.

I bought a pair of NuPro A-200 for my study. The delivery was a little delayed. But it was worth the wait. After unpacking and switching them on, I immediately realized why the speakers are so popular. The workmanship is excellent. The A-200s are placed directly on my desk, they play dynamically and freshly, with very good spatiality. The bass is amazing for such small speakers, and considering the volume and price, excellent. In short, the speakers are simply great! The Logitech Squeezebox touch? is ideal as a playback device, as I mainly listen to 96Khz digitized sound records via the network server. The technical concept of the A-200 and the flexible adaptation to the digital infrastructure was the main reason for my purchase decision.
The decision was more than right.

Just for fun, I put the A-200 in my living room at the weekend to hear how they behave in a larger room. To be fair, I also connected a rudimentary subwoofer. My Lyngdorf DPA-1 allows me to quickly connect the various devices. I was amazed at the excellent sound of the small speakers in the 36 square meter room. Even without subwoofer support, the A-200s showed no weaknesses at moderate volumes. Two friends present couldn't help but grin at the minimal differences in sound compared to my expensive floorstanding speakers.

I hope that you are already working on a floorstanding speaker suitable for the living room with the same concept and technology. Then the conceptual problems (detour via analog inputs) of the AW-350 subwoofer could also be avoided. I am aware that the flexibility offered by the AW-350 would be quite challenging to realize purely digitally.

In conclusion, I can only congratulate you on the concept and design of the NuPro A-200 series.

Wow, the nuPro 300 really surprised me, and then in a positive way.

In my search for a wife-compatible speaker model to replace my slowly dying Backes+Müller, I tried the 300s as an active friend.

And .... really top notch! Voices, spatiality, everything top. And the bass reproduction: dry, tiiieeeef and clean. Processing and electronics/menus etc. are convincing.

Recommendation : listen at home and ...buy !

A little tip at the end: the speakers are the "cheapest" high-end solution because:
Amplifier costs: 0 ? > Connect an iPod, CD player or whatever and for just under 1100 ? of high-end sound.

In a nutshell, my nuBox 481 was delivered today, 2x of course 😉
Unpacked, wired up and ready to go. My Rotel RA-9608X in combination with the Cambridge D500 CD player is a real joy. The speakers still need some time to break in, but they are already an absolute pleasure.

Can only recommend nubert, best quality at a good price, fast order processing, securely packaged, only top marks from me. Gladly again....... 😉

First of all, I would like to say that I have never written a product review because I have always found it superfluous. But in this case I have to make an exception. I bought a pair of NuBox 101 just before Christmas 2013. Since I've had these speakers, the way I listen to music has changed somewhat. These little bangers play so much fun in my admittedly small (20sqm) listening room that even my taste in music has partly changed because I want and need to listen to new music. I'm currently still using the speakers together with a non-branded subwoofer (T....l from "C.....t E"), which plays me something below 70 HZ.........simply brilliant. If there's another interesting subwoofer in the Nubert range at a special price, I'll buy it. You can just hear it......
