After about 2 years of NuLine 82 with ATM, I am still thrilled with every new song. The design of the speakers is modern and simple, even after many years. Where else can you find such long product cycles?

In combination with my Cambridge Audio components and the Apple AirPort Express for streaming to Musical fidelity dac, the nubis simply sound fantastic in every situation. And that without putting too much strain on the normal middle-class wallet.

I would also like to buy a nuline combination for the living room at some point. So I'll soon be making another trip to Gmünd to hear the new family members live.

@ Stefan ...I'd be interested to hear what a car technician has in his living room......

Once again, a big compliment to Nubert's service!
I purchased another (number 4) Nubert AW-7 subwoofer second-hand. Unfortunately, the remote control turned out to be missing on delivery. OK, I had also forgotten to ask for it beforehand.
A call to the hotline and a few very nice conversations with Mr. Siegle revealed a good old remote control after all (I didn't want this "noble" cheque card part). It was there the next day and the cost - not worth mentioning.

I received the first Nubert speakers the day before yesterday. The nuBox 381 is a really successful product. I didn't expect them to sound so good. Hats off. They feel right at home between my big Tannoy DMT-15 MK2 speakers and the small Genelecs. I ordered the AW-441 subwoofer the day before yesterday. I can't wait to see how they play together.

In the next few weeks, when I'm in the vicinity of d+b audio, I'll venture into your demonstration studio to listen to the nuVero 14. I'm curious.

In any case, I now know what I can recommend to my circle of friends as a hi-fi shelf speaker 🙂).

Hello,

as I have read a lot about Nubert and their excellent loudspeakers on the I-net, I went to the headquarters a few weeks ago and had a longer listening session.

On the whole, I listened to the large NuVero 11 and 14 models and the NuLine 122.

But let's start from the beginning:

My first impression when I walked into the store was this:

From a distance, the boxes look quite good and of good quality for my taste, but I have to say that up close they look quite different. I should perhaps add that I work in automotive design, have been involved with show cars etc. for years and therefore perhaps have a high level of quality expectations. Unfortunately, Nubert's products don't seem to me to meet this standard. In my opinion, the workmanship of the NuVero series, which has been highly praised in the press and online, is particularly incomprehensible.

The body with the matt lacquer looks "unfinished", you keep thinking... there's still a layer missing... I also don't want to know how susceptible to dirt this rough paint is. The front part in high gloss looks so artificial... far too thin... as if the part actually belongs on a different box. The edges were chipped or scuffed on some models... clear... Exhibition goods... possibly even B-goods... but to me it looked like... that in a few years every speaker at home will look like this... because of wear and tear when moving... cleaning... rubbing it etc....

I'm just describing my impressions and tastes here, so please don't stone me... everyone can see things differently!

The speakers and subwoofers of the "older" series that were on display in the entrance area looked to me like furniture from these cheap discounters... Only the big subwoofer... NuLine AW1000... I didn't think it was so badly made. (I'm only talking about the exterior here... I didn't listen to the subwoofer!!) But you can't get the feeling of laminate flooring out of your head... and the cheap one from the special offers corner... unfortunately.

After this first disappointment and the question to me.... "and these are the speakers that regularly win tests for quality and sound?!?????"

After about 1.5 hours of listening test where we mainly listened to the speakers mentioned, I have to say that the whole thing doesn't suit my taste. Certainly, good, no question, but highly praised, outstanding as some newspapers write??? Interestingly, I liked the NuLine 122 better than the NuVero series for most of the songs... when I asked the salesman how the price difference between the NuLine 122 and the NuVero 14 could be justified (after all, it's almost twice as expensive)... he replied: "Yes, the NuVero 14 can do a whole lot more on top of that."... Aha... I thought to myself...

Well, since we didn't exactly listen "quietly" during our listening session... and even the loudest passages on the NuLine 122 came across cleanly and similarly... I ask myself... where in God's name do you want to turn up this double-priced speaker? Fortunately, I don't have a problem with neighbors in my house... but even there I don't hear as loud as I did during our Nubert test... let alone.... even louder!!!

We also noticed the incredibly big difference between the speakers... in connection with different recordings and songs.

If a jazz song sounds really good on the Nuline.... the same song on the NuVero disappoints across the board... you hear a certain song from the DireStrates... the other way around... 2 songs later, however, you want to hear the NuLine again... because the NuVero gives the impression... something doesn't fit.... All in all... for me not "very good" but rather....

You should be able to expect a high-class loudspeaker to reproduce the recording as authentically as possible. And that this varies so much between songs even with a CD... that you say: for this song please use the NuLine... for the other song please use the NuVero... well... unfortunately doesn't convince me.

OK, to cut a long story short:

For my understanding of product quality and sound characteristics, I am unfortunately mediocre to completely disappointed.

The fact that the products regularly win test series in terms of both quality and sound characteristics only leads me to conclude that the testers don't seem to recognize the measure of all things after all... at least I have a different standard... in every respect.

Sorry that I can't sing their praises here like most people, I had expected and hoped for much more... unfortunately I was disappointed across the board and will therefore not be ordering any Nubert speakers.

Yours sincerely... Stefan

Hello ?Stefan?
No, we will not ?stone? you because of your opinion. We respect your critical comments. Fortunately, thousands of satisfied customers confirm that we are not entirely wrong about our products, as you can read in the many other guestbook entries. And NO, we do not filter out critical statements, as you can see.
You write: "The fact that the products regularly win test series in terms of both quality and sound characteristics only leads me to conclude that the testers do not seem to recognize the measure of all things after all.... ."
On the contrary: testers in our industry only know what is "feasible" in the handcrafted production of audio furniture and also see what our competitors can do. And in this comparison, we usually do very well. It is astonishing that our most critical customers come from the "automotive industry"? They like to scrutinize paint surfaces and components meticulously, photograph them with umpteen zooms and complain about them. But the audio furniture industry doesn't have millions of dollars' worth of automatic painting machines and speaker manufacturers can't put their suppliers under so much pressure to ensure that every component is flawlessly perfect. In our industry (and in the related furniture industry, by the way), perfection has a clear feasibility limit. And there is no endless choice of suppliers if price is also a factor. We have never claimed to build THE PERFECT loudspeakers. We build speakers that we would buy ourselves. Loudspeakers that we feel reproduce a HONEST sound and which, despite elaborate handcrafted production with a largely German value chain, should ultimately have a very good price-performance ratio.
Too bad we couldn't convince you.

Dear people at Nubert,
I would like to express my deepest thanks to you:
1) for the fast delivery of my nuVero 5.1 system (2x nuVero 14 (incl. ATM), 2x nuVero 3, nuVero 7 and a Musical Fidelity M6-PRX amplifier).
2) For the super support from Mr. Siegle, who always gave me friendly and perfect advice despite many questions and in the end helped me to get exactly what I wanted (thank you very much, your tip with the amplifier was worth its weight in gold),
3) for what ultimately comes out of the system: unbelievably great music. After several months of listening to music (from classical to jazz to pop and metal), I'm still sitting in front of the speakers transfigured. If the nuVeros have shown me one thing, it's what good music is and yes, what bad music is too. Because bad recordings are mercilessly exposed (and discarded by me). But good music sounds like it's not from this world.

I ordered the ATM module for the Nuwave 35 on 26.09. in the morning. It was delivered at noon the following day (which is record-breaking).
I was skeptical at first because I have to use it with my Yamaha RX - V1300RDS AV receiver. As the receiver (preamp/power amp) cannot be separated, I connected the module via the CD high level input.
I have connected my CD player and my digital satellite receiver to the module. The module causes no problems at all (in terms of hum interference).
The sound gain in the bass and mid/high range is very good. I mainly listen to music in double stereo in the DSP setting Pro Logic II Music.
Whether via the satellite receiver or CD, I have the impression that even my rear speakers (Neat Audio Continental II), which already sound very good normally (same characteristics as the NUWAVe 35, just monitor character), are even clearer and have a stronger bass. I'm toying with the idea of buying a power amplifier in the near future so that I can also enjoy the improved sound in Dolbysuround.
Best regards to Schwäbisch Gmünd, I'm toying with the idea of listening to the NULINE 284 (because of the sound and the look) at your place one day, I'll probably have to take it with me straight away!

Nubox 101 with Yamaha RX-V473.......
The absolute hammer the boxes ahh I am totally thrilled. Such a clear, rich sound and when you turn it up there's no scratching, no noise, nothing. They just get louder and the sound is really good.
A big compliment to the Nuber team, another very satisfied customer. ....

As a very satisfied owner of a nuBox 381 set with ABL module, I was looking for a lightweight and portable active system for iphone and notebook. As I had sold my Teufel Motiv2 system due to the unwieldy and heavy subwoofer, I had to find an alternative. I found the right system, the nuPro A-20, on the Nubert homepage.

I ordered it without further ado and it was delivered within two days. I unpacked the whole thing and connected it to my iPhone first. What comes out of these "little speakers" is almost unbelievable.
I would never have thought that this size of speaker could be heard beyond the party level. The dynamics, level and authentic sound are outstanding in this class.

Well, I thought there was no improvement, but when I connected my small but fine NAD 5325 CD player, the room was filled with a musicality that is second to none. Chris Rea's Blue Guitar, Mark Knopfler's Roadrunning Live, Johnny Cash's The man comes along or Katie Melua's Piece by Piece, to name just a few examples, are played incredibly vividly. I can't get the grin off my face just looking at the boxes.

Keep it up Mr. Nubert, this is the right way to go.
