I ordered an AW560 subwoofer in beech, simply on suspicion, because a friend advised me to do so and I was thoroughly convinced by the products at the High-End in Munich.
What can I say apart from "wow"?
The ordering process is simply ideal, very logical and easy to handle. Shipping super fast with corresponding confirmation and tracking option.
Punctual delivery! perfect, almost too sturdy packaging, with warnings and unpacking instructions. Extensive, beautifully and "lovingly" packaged accessories with a funny Nubert figure and very nicely finished subwoofer.
Sound: I am blown away, simply much more than I expected. The subwoofer sounds harmonious and very precise and I enjoy watching and listening to my DVD music collection on the TV. Much better than my Elac subwoofer before and if I had the space, I would swap the Elac Sat for Nuberts straight away, but unfortunately the satellites are not available in the possible size.
For this product at this price you probably can't find anything better in terms of size and sound, it's true honest speakers, although that's almost an understatement. For me, the sound of the AW560 is in the next category up.
I actually wanted two new speakers for a total of 1600 euros. Then I went to Nubert in Aalen and listened to the different speakers. I can only warn you not to go there, because you can quickly throw all your financial intentions overboard. Now I've had the nuVero 11 speakers plus a matching Denon amplifier since May. In the meantime, I would even be prepared to pay considerably more for nuVero 11. Fortunately for all potential nuVero 11 listeners, this is not necessary, as the excellent price-performance ratio still applies.
However, there are additional follow-up costs: many new CDs and a suitable armchair in front of the speakers. Like good music in general, they are simply too good to listen to on the side.
I was even a little disappointed at first. The speakers seemed to sound too 'metallic' to me. I now know the reason: my old listening habits with my previous speakers. Nubert speakers are a new sound experience.
The nuVero-11s are beautifully designed. They also fit perfectly into my room in terms of dimensions. If it were bigger, I would have chosen the nuVero-14.
I bought the nuVero 4 with ATM and BS-750 speaker stands a good 2 weeks ago. What can I say: I am absolutely thrilled with the speakers. After the break-in phase, the speakers are nothing but fun. The difference to my previous (not exactly slender!) stand-mount speakers from Infinity was already clearly audible during the break-in: much more contoured, more vivid, noticeably better treble, crisp, dry bass and by no means a little "boomy" as before. Mozart's horn concerto: a poem of brilliance and clearly localized instruments, much more "honest" and "tangible" than before. Joe Bonamassa's blues rock: here too, the mid and treble ranges are a revelation, almost to the point of tears. The crystal-clear style of Maeve O'Boyle: as if she were giving a private concert and sitting in my living room; I've never heard such plasticity in recordings before (well, I did at the High-End in Munich, but then for tens of times the price!!!). The jazzy soul of Melody Gardot: also a dream and an indication of the CD's outstanding production!!! And for the rough stuff: the snotty rock of Hellyeah, for example (by the way, they're the ones who would like to be the laughing stock of Boss Hoss if they were grown-ups! What the ATM gets out of these compact loudspeakers is simply phenomenal. Rich, deep, but clear and always contoured bass with an intensity that actually (and I didn't want to believe it!) outperforms most consumer floorstanding speakers up to EUR 2,000/pair or doesn't lag behind a bit!!! Are there any negative points? Depending on how you look at it: I was horrified when I heard how badly some of my favorite records were produced (e.g. the Metallica LP "Matser Of Puppets"); the sound on this dream LS is simply soulless and quite flat, quite different from Metallica's LP"...And Justice For All", for example, which really gets going!!! Even CD fare such as Rammstein's "Herzeleid" is not as good in terms of production as I thought it would be with the Infinitys. On the other hand, Mave O`Boyle, who hasn`t attracted much attention so far: waaahhhnsinn (see above). In other words: these speakers are simply honest without being analytical: good recordings sound good to great, bad ones simply sound bad. And if we hi-fi enthusiasts are honest: that's all that matters, isn't it? A huge compliment to the developers around Günter Nubert (no, I don't work there, I'm not related by blood or marriage and I don't know anyone who works there!!!) for creating a speaker like this (and the others in the portfolio are also supposed to be great)... er, stands. Keep it up !!!
Addendum: I heard the Canton Reference 9.2 DC a year ago, until then the non plus ultra for me in the area of "normal" affordability, cost approx. 2,200 EUR/pair. In terms of sound, the nuVeros and the Canton are even a little similar, at least both are honest and neutral, although the Canton has a tiny hint of "individual sound" that you may or may not like. In the bass range, however, the nuVero 4 is clearly and audibly better positioned, deeper and drier than the Canton. I actually wanted to get the Canton, but was ultimately convinced by the many positive statements/tests to try the nuberts and won't be giving them away again. With ATM still around 800 EUR cheaper than the Canton: I can only say: Chapeu Nubert!!!!
After such a detailed guestbook entry with noticeable "honest enthusiasm", we feel the need to once again express our heartfelt THANK YOU to ALL CUSTOMERS who take the trouble to express their valued opinion here or via e-mail or feedback form. Even after thousands of guestbook entries, we are always happy to receive feedback!
I bought the NuPro a-20.
After many years of recording and mixing in the studio,
I finally wanted something good for my home.
I know Adam, Genelec and the like pretty well, all fine speakers,
but the bottom line is that the NuPro is the most balanced and affordable piece of sound furniture I've ever heard. Unbelievable how precise and crisp, even relatively far down really very good to judge the bass.
Mistakes in the mix are mercilessly exposed, while good mixes sound phenomenal.
You look in vain for the subwoofer, everything comes out of the a-20.
If you are looking for an absolutely honest and balanced nearfield monitor, this is the right choice.
nuVero 11
What a bummer, I missed the return deadline because I was so busy listening to music 😬
The nuVero 11 is one of the best living room speakers I've ever heard, regardless of price, with no ifs or buts. The audibility, the bass, the whole musical experience literally clicks into place. I can now understand the enthusiasm of many "Nubert disciples".
If you are looking for an all-rounder without any airs and graces, you should definitely give the nuVero a chance, even if you are prepared to invest many times more. The distribution system, with sufficient trial listening time at home, is exemplary. Given the quality on offer, this is probably a win-win situation for both customer and company.
My heartfelt, honest recommendation for Nubert

I bought the nuLine DS 22 cherry speakers. The shipping, packaging and communication were fast, flawless and problem-free.
I was surprised at the quality value you can get for little money. Simply superb. I would be happy to buy again.
I listened to the NuVero 11 in Aalen in August, compared, ordered, paid and arranged a delivery date to my home address. I was back home a day earlier than planned - and the speakers also arrived a day earlier 😂 .
Unfortunately, one speaker was damaged at the sound cone. I sent an email with photos to Nubert and contacted Mr. R. in Aalen by phone the next day. What can I say: without any ifs or buts, he arranged for a new speaker to be delivered the same day, and it arrived the next day. The damaged speaker was collected by UPS a few days later at the agreed time, and the process was completely hassle-free via the Internet.
There is often talk of Germany being a service desert. The opposite is true for Nubert: I, for one, was in Nubert's service paradise. In this context, I would like to take this opportunity to once again praise Mr. R. in Aalen (Advantage Aalen!). You can't give a customer more exemplary and real advice than in my case. Without any 'fuss = voodoo' (unfortunately not entirely unknown in the hi-fi scene), he showed me solutions that I would not have come up with on my own despite many years of experience in hi-fi. Thank you, Mr. R., and best regards.
Hello
Customer reviews are not really my thing, but I occasionally make exceptions. In this case, I would like to comment on a product, in this case your nuvero4. After 23 years, I had to part with my Teufeln M200 due to circumstances and an alternative had to be found. After many listening tests in specialist shops, I was a little frustrated, as sound transducers that came close to the Teufel for my ears were considerably more expensive and were not within my budget. Furthermore, the structural dimensions should not exceed those of the Teufel and the efficiency should be such that they could be used with my Harman 665, built in '89, without any problems.
To cut a long story short: I heard a "Nubert" for the first time at a friend's house and was a little surprised a. at the sound and b. when I heard the price. So I spontaneously ordered a pair of nuvero4, thanks to the 4 week test at home. They were within my budget, the key data was right, the sound description and the great design were the deciding factors.
I now had ample opportunity to "test" the speakers with my system.
After a bit of trial and error, I found the right placement for me. The right height proved to be essential for the sound. The 65o speaker stand is still a little too high for my taste. I shortened it by 10 cm. In my opinion, the sound is much more balanced, precise and spacious. I mainly listen to jazz, classical music, synth pop and pop.
Conclusion: Amazing! On my Harman, the "4" plays jazz and classical music in particular, brilliantly. Rich in detail, precise, unobtrusive, great at any volume. A very great tuning. I still have a NAD amp in my collection, but it doesn't harmonize so well with the speakers.
Test music: Monty Alexander "Live in Montreux", Oscar Peterson Trio "We get Requests", Jocelyn B. Smith "Live in Berlin" (vocal presence is insane), Eva Cassidy (vocally also impressively reproduced), Yamamoto Trio "Midnight Sugar", Melody Gardot, Curt Cress "Avanti" (my test record for the response of the woofers, really good!) Beethoven "Violin Sonatas", Carl Loewe "Symphony No.2", Andreas Vollenweider, Pink Floyd, Schiller, Yello etc. Not "quite" as convincing overall with "normal" pop. For me, however, more than a worthy successor to the Teufel. A great product.

I've had the AW 1300 subwoofer for almost a year now and am very satisfied, as it can be adapted very well to satellite speakers. Speed and precision were the most important factors in my choice. I first had the AW 1000 to try out. This is also an excellent subwoofer with sheer bass power, the likes of which I have not yet experienced within four walls. But for me it was just too much of a good thing, because I always panicked that I'd upset the neighbors if I ever "took it out". There was also a quick drone due to the size of the room (approx. 27 square meters). But if you have a 70 square meter room, I would recommend the AW 1000. The second point was that I wasn't able to adjust the AW 1000 to my satellite speakers very well (only by adjusting the volume and limiting the frequency upwards). This is brilliantly solved with the AW 1300 with the Dsp control. I lowered the resonance frequency at 39Hz in my room by 8db so that the furniture, walls and door no longer tremble. 😎
I was initially worried that the AW 1300 wouldn't be able to keep up with the speed of my Intonation Terzian speakers - but it can 🙂 . And the Intontation is one of the fastest and most dynamic speakers I know. The AW 1000 was a bit too sluggish in comparison. In contrast, the AW 1300 is brilliantly fast and precise. This amazes me every time I listen to music or watch a movie. The sound of the system has become incredibly spacious as a result, and above all it has opened up in depth. The prerequisite for this is the crystal-clear and very fast bass, which does not dilute the transparency and enormous precision (of the Terzian). In my opinion, the AW 1300 does this with flying colors. The description in the Stereoplay test that you don't hear this subwoofer all the time, but only when low frequencies are being played, is also fitting. The AW 1300 is very neutral and has no sound of its own. It doesn't push itself to the fore like the AW 1000. Nevertheless, the AW 1000 is better suited for low bass beats (film) that can be clearly felt in the pit of the stomach. However, the AW 1300 is also good enough for me for movies.
At some point I want to buy a second AW 1300 and then put the Terzian intonation on top (decoupled of course), which I have already tested successfully with a subwoofer. But even now the system conveys the spaciousness and powerful authority of good symphony orchestras with such transparency that it leaves me speechless. I've heard some expensive systems, but nothing better so far.
My system consists of Revox b226, BAT VK 5 se, Nakamichi PA 7, plus a D/A converter from Nuforce HDP - this system sounds simply sensational to me.
