You won't like this one:
I bought the Nuwave 10 together in a complete set with AW1000, Center Wave-something and rear dipole (can't remember which) a few years ago.
When I wanted to listen to music really loud, the amplifier switched off.
I then wrote to your support team, but the (then?) head of technology was of the opinion that Nubert speakers are faultless, I should buy a proper amplifier, he didn't know the Yamaha DSP-A1, it was probably a cheap device. He had a great Onkyo for so much more on offer.
But at the time I was happy with my Yamaha DSP-A1, and I also liked the champagne-colored design with the polished real wood sides.
In addition, the Onkyo (I then read test reports) didn't perform nearly as well as the Yamaha, and the Onkyo was in a different performance and price class (DSP-A1 approx. DM 3,800, Onkyo approx. DM 1,200).
I now know what defective Nubert tweeters sound like, but if Nubert had their way, I would have to change my hearing. After all, Nubert loudspeakers are beyond reproach.
What a pity, really.

Hello "The heretic"!
Of course we would "like" a positive response from you better. Whether the statement at the time actually came from the "head of technology" (that would be Günther Nubert) is doubtful. We can only apologize retrospectively for this employee response, should it actually have been formulated in exactly the same way...
And NO, Nubert speakers are not beyond reproach. We build speakers that we would buy ourselves. But we can't please all tastes...

Last week I bought a second-hand AW 880 SE subwoofer as a suitable update for my Nubox 481. I was aware of the discussions about the SE version. I can't understand the concerns.
What can I say, the sub is an absolute blast! The dimensions are already huge, but the performance is even more brutal. Actually, I can only use it to its full potential as a homeowner and only when my wife and daughter are away from home... I recently listened to Rita Ora with R.I.P. at a very high volume: FUNDAMENTAL how the bone-dry basses push through the room! You can always turn it up a notch, the sound is crystal clear and incredibly deep. You should also feel Yello By Yello really loud: the song Stay goes through and through. I've always been waiting for this sound. :p

Hello dear Nubert team,

what lasts long ?

About 2 months ago I decided to give up my 20 year old stereo system and upgrade to 5.1.
After some research, I decided on a Yamaha RX-V671 as my AV receiver (it was actually supposed to be the 771, but it was no longer available), as I also wanted to connect my 'old' record player directly. record player directly.
Now it was time to look for speakers that would be suitable for both music and home theater. After some searching on the Internet, I stumbled across Nubert more or less by chance and was struck by the enthusiastic comments.
After a phone call to Schwäbisch Gmünd and extensive advice from Mr. Bühler, I was leaning towards the Nubox 511 as the front, the CS-411, the DS-301 as the rear and the AW-441.
But despite being able to test the speakers at home in peace and quiet, I was really keen to try them out beforehand.
And so, a few days later, I set off with my wife to Schwäbisch Gmünd, about 200 km away. This gave me the opportunity to test whether my wife would accept the considerable increase in speakers visually.
Mr. Dürr in SG then took exemplary care of us and we were able to listen through various loudspeakers at our leisure, ultimately settling on the above-mentioned combination.
At the end, we were also given a great tip on where we could go for a good bite to eat before driving home.
Of course, I would have loved to have packed the speakers straight away, but unfortunately the 511 in the color we wanted wasn't immediately available and so I had to wait another 4 weeks.
But now I've had the speakers at home for a week and I can't get the grin off my face.
My other half is also totally thrilled.
I can only confirm Mr. Nubert's recommendation: Listen to your CDs at your leisure and you will discover sounds that you were never aware of before.

Many thanks to the staff at Nubert for the great service, which is unfortunately no longer a matter of course these days. Keep up the good work!
Should I ever upgrade to 7.1 or need speakers in my study or anywhere else, there's definitely only one choice: NUBERT

So, I'm a little perplexed.

A few days ago I started with two nuLine WS-12s, followed by another WS-12 and two nuLine DS-22 ...... and now, two days ago, two nuLine AW-560s.

I've always read about a "completely new listening experience" in your forum and guestbook, or even "I hear something you don't". To be honest, I didn't quite believe it, I suspected too much Nubi fanboy posturing and rose-tinted ears.

Nope, nothing like that! These loudspeakers (what a horrible word for such works of art in terms of feel and acoustics!!!) really open up new perspectives in terms of sound. Old familiar things suddenly sound completely different, airier, clearer, more detailed, more dynamic, more natural, simply better (despite not really optimal placement options). At the time, my Denon AVR was expressly praised for its exceptionally good stereo properties .... and now it can finally prove this to me with the nuLine combination.

Conclusion: Although only the "small" nuLine solution was feasible for me for spatial reasons, I am convinced for the first time that my money has been very well invested from a musical point of view.

I would also like to praise the friendly staff, who gave me expert and uncomplicated advice and also took my orders.

Hello dear Nubert team,

I bought 2x NuBox 681 in Black&Black from you and replaced my 15 year old NuBox 360 (which already sounded good).

I thought long and hard about whether I should go for the NuBox 511 or the NuBox 681.
Advantage of the NuBox 681: More balanced sound (more depth),
Disadvantage of NuBox 681: More space required, slightly more expensive
In the end, as I will probably have the speakers for a few years, I decided in favor of the 681.

The first time I tried them out at room volume, I noticed that I couldn't hear certain tones in some of the music. Of course, I first set the sound controls on the amplifier to neutral (except EQ). The 681s sound very good and have a nice frequency spectrum.

Today I used the speakers with my Sony QS amplifier (with only 100W RMS), which I initially thought was too weak, and I have to say that it doesn't produce any clipping even at extreme volumes, which I wouldn't have expected.

I have to say that I am completely delighted with the speakers and would buy them again.

Many thanks to Mr. Nubert and the competent and friendly Nubert advisory team in Aalen

I've been the proud owner of a pair of nuBox 511s for 4 weeks now.

I would never have thought that these models are so unrivaled in terms of price/performance. Before that, I had been considering buying Teufel stereo speakers for about 3 years.

After reading a few tests, the Nubert speakers caught my eye:

Extremely true to sound and without distorting. This was to be the replacement for my old Magnat speakers (>15 years old).

A good year ago, I bought a Pioneer VSX-920 as an upgrade so that I was already prepared for good speakers.

In combination with the Nubert speakers, it is a real feast of sound, I have adopted the automatic sound calibration as far as possible - but deactivated the equalizer. The music and game effects (Xbox 360) are so clear - I'm absolutely thrilled.

The system will probably be upgraded to a 7.1, of course with your elements.

Thank you, Nubert!

Dear Nubert fans,

I have had the Nubox 681 for 2 weeks now and am having an incredible amount of fun with it.

However, it was only the beginning of a complete rejuvenation of my stereo system.
At the moment I still have my 17 year old Onkyo surround receiver connected, but unfortunately not everything works anymore.
I would like some good suggestions from you as to which amplifier I should buy (or which one you would recommend for my new speakers).
So far I'm interested in the Denon 1510 or 720 and the Yamaha 1000 or 700.
Would like to invest somewhere between 500 and 800 euros.... possibly also a used device......

Greetings from the Westerwald

Hello Nubi team

I ordered the 5.1 NuLine system on Wednesday late afternoon: Front DS22 (2nd choice, no defects found), Center CS42, Rear WS12, SW AW1000, all in white.
The equipment was delivered on Tuesday!!! Unfortunately it took a little longer... 😟

After connecting the speakers to my 8 year old AV receiver from Harman and Kardon, I was very disappointed. SW without function, front + center sounded more like a whimper.
It couldn't be that, so I called the hotline the next day: I would have to adjust the frequency range on the receiver. OK? No sooner said than done: Oh, ah, yes, very nice, a little fine-tuning here and a little more bass there and ooooh, yaaa!!!!

Next, put the DVD Master and Comander into the player. Oh how cool is that now, am I already on board or am I still sitting on the couch?
I really like the fact that the SW has a remote control, so I can take the bass out at any time if the cannonballs hit too close to my couch 😬
I can also only confirm (as so many have already described here in the guestbook) that the Nubis loudspeakers are "honest" and make all errors on a CD/DVD audible.

I'm definitely going to buy a new AV receiver next (the old one still works, but I have the feeling that it has reached its performance limits), so we'll see what happens.

Greetings Thomas

Hello.
After 3 years of listening to music with NuLine 32 and Sub NuLine AW560, but always having problems with the sub, I bought the NuBox 381.

I had bought the NuLine 32 because I had switched back from surround to stereo. However, as I primarily listen to black music and pop music, I didn't find the bass of the 32s very appealing. As I didn't want to add more cables and devices, a module was out of the question for me. It was already too late to exchange. I thought I'd get used to it.

So I got myself the AW 560. Certainly a great bass, but I was never really happy with it. When listening quietly (we have a small son) late at night, I found good settings, but when I turned up the volume, I had to adjust it. Annoying in the long run.

Now with NuBox 381 I don't need all that any more. I really enjoy the 381. With a listening room of just under 20 square meters, the bass is super and the dynamics are simply fun.
Perfect for me for R&B, soul / funk, rap, smooth jazz etc. 😬

I wish I'd got these sooner.

As always, delivery was fast and without any problems. Thanks for that.

If anyone is interested, I listen with the following system:
Onyo A-5VL (has 2 digital inputs)
EeePC R11CX ( has no fan ) + SSD = Silent +
M2Tech HiFace USB Digital Module
NuBox 381 in black /silver

Greetings

Allow us to make this comment: In certain spatial conditions, it may well be that a pair of nuBox 381s is the "personally better solution". In general, however, the nuLine 32 + AW-560 subwoofer combination is in a different league.
