I started looking around for floorstanding speakers two weeks ago. I then came across the nuBox 425 Jubilee which I would have liked to order.
Will there be a new edition or an alternative similar speaker in the near future?
Then I would wait.
Best regards
Bernhard Z.

Answer from the Nubert-Team

Thank you for your interest in the nuBox Jubilee 425. As this floorstanding loudspeaker was an anniversary edition, there are unfortunately no plans to re-produce it. The nuBox 483 or nuLine 84 come closest in terms of sound, but the latter is only available while stocks last.

I've been the happy owner of a nuConnect ampX since Wednesday. A fantastic device, superior to my TEAC in every respect, even without calibration (but I'm getting an iPad on loan in the next few days). Bass, tightness, dynamics - super. The USB port on the back has proved to be an extra treat for me. I've been using a Raspberry Pi with Volumio software for some time now and have stored my most important CDs as FLAC files on an SSD. The signal naturally goes into the USB input. The switching power supply for the RaspPi is of the simple variety, so I came up with the idea of supplying it with power via the port instead. I was initially concerned about the power required, as the simple power supply delivers a maximum of 2.5 amps. My hope was that the CPU would only be under a low load for such applications, and this was confirmed. So far there have been no problems with this solution.
Congratulations to the developers for this device and thanks to the staff at the dispatch department.

Oh yes, one more question: Other suppliers of devices with USB DACs always state in the technical data which converter component is used. Why not with the AmpX? I couldn't find any information about this.

Answer from the Nubert-Team

Thank you for your praise of the nuConnect. We will address your question regarding the converter module with our development department and, if necessary, add the information in the technical data or in the description.

So now I have to add my two cents.
I've been the proud owner of this great little NU Connect AMPX integrated amplifier for two days now and I'm absolutely thrilled.
I use it as a second system with two Nubox 313 in the hobby room, TV connected via HDMI adapter, my old Technics Tangential turntable also still connected. Great sound and easy to use, also thanks to the Nubert app. Stream music etc. etc. A real all-rounder for a fair price.
I can only say dear Nubis, keep up the good work.

Hello Nubert,

I have purchased the nuBox AS-225 soundbar. I am completely blown away. SO MUCH power. How can I describe it? The sound is raw, unpolished, so full of attitude, lively, a declaration of war.

I bow before this great achievement. Once Nubert, always Nubert. Thank you!

Nubert rating

Having long been annoyed by receivers with their millions of settings, I recently decided to take the step "back" to stereo. Listening to music in the best quality and having good movie sound was the goal.
New speakers had also been planned for a long time, but in the end the choice fell on the Nubert 264. And then the nuconnect ampX came out, my choice for an integrated amplifier.
The nuconnect ampX not only came in perfect packaging as always, all (!!) cables included and then also the adapter for hdmi. That's how it should be!
Connection: coax cable from the CD player, hdmi cable to the TV and optical digital cable from the TV to the nuconnect ampX. That's it. It can be that simple.
The remote control is brilliant: simple, everything where it needs to be, not overloaded and easy to understand even for a non-tech nerd like me.
But the app is even more ingenious: connect to the nuconnect ampX in no time at all, the app is so clear and easy to use! TOP! No more reading through 300 pages of operating instructions and not understanding half of them anyway. (One drawback: I had to ask the Nubert hotline about the password). Good technology must be self-explanatory, and the amplifier, remote control and app are exemplary in both respects.
Keeping to the playback time is a problem! ? After all, I had never heard the Nubert 264 (and the amplifier) before.
First movie sound: The sound is sensational. No more Dolby Digital with 7 speakers and the agony of the settings. All this is topped by the ingenious "wide" function. Save "Wide" to "3", put The Revenant in the Blu-ray player and a fabulously good movie sound lets me look forward to many great movie nights without anything getting on my nerves! The water splashing at the beginning of the movie alone! For me the ingenious solution.
Then stereo: The combination of Nubert 264 and nuconnect ampX provides a musicality, neutrality, for hearing the finest nuances, for voices and instruments, it's just fun!!! By the way, I think the nuline 264 is beautiful, especially in walnut, and you only briefly miss the man-sized speakers of the 80s that I grew up with. After that, you realize that the nuLIne 264s also blend in much better visually in the living room - after all, you don't have a hall to fill with sound and furnish.
A small 'fat eye': the bass is good. Detailed, precise. To be honest, I would have expected a little bit more. Do I need to add a bit more bass via the app? Do I need to consider a subwoofer (the size doesn't fit the set at all... only a very compact, "rack-compatible" one would be an option) or a Nubert tuning module? I would be interested in your opinion.

Apart from that: I'm looking forward to hours of listening to music in TOPP quality and movie nights with great sound (which many receivers don't offer me despite all the effort). Thank you very much.

Best regards, Geuer

Thank you very much for this first, enthusiastic feedback on the nuConnect ampX.
We are working on the "password question", a corresponding note is already in the download instructions. More help will follow.
If you sometimes wish for "even more bass" from the slim speakers: Try using the sound balance control, the loudness function or the equalizer. We are sure you will find settings (which you can also save via presets) that you will be completely satisfied with.

Gentlemen. You could have written in your product description for the nuVero140 that there may be additional costs for new window panes. 😬 I finally got these wonderful new speakers this morning and of course set them up and connected them straight away. Well, the glazier is on his way 😂

Joking aside, now I know what the people before me who wrote a comment about these devices mean by powerful bass. I drive these speakers with Musical Fidelity M6s DAC preamp and a 30 year old Musical Fidelity P270 power amp. I've always known that these things have real punch, but now it's arriving in the living room (and basement). For 30 years, a pair of Mordaunt-Short speakers have been mine. They are still very good. But now I know what was missing from the midrange down to the bass. Due to the fact that I always had to watch out for my neighbors in rented apartments, that was OK. Now this living situation has changed and the "limit neighbor" is gone, but the low tones are there. Superb!

The speakers are really honest, Mr. Nubert compliments. I'm not saying they're cheap, but they're worth every penny. I've often heard speakers at trade fairs that easily cost 2 to 3 times as much, but none of them have ever convinced me like this and I know they'll get even better once I've got the position right and I've got used to the new ones. At the moment I don't even know where to listen at the same time. The sound is so spacious, harmonious and resolves so finely, I'm always listening there and then it's off to somewhere else. But that'll change and I'll be even happier in two weeks' time. I won't have to spend a lot of money on new music in the near future; rediscovering the "old" ones will take time. Today I listened to Mozart's piano sonatas, which I've had for a long time. What's new is that you can hear the quiet creaking of the bench on which the pianist is sitting. > Unbelievable, but true. The pianist also hums to himself while playing. I'm willing to bet that wasn't on the recording before. Also incredible how you can hear the different rooms. I like live music and now every live CD has its own room and yet the speakers don't dissect. It's always different, but remains harmonious. Extra great class.

I've spent the last few hours listening to a cross-section of classical, blues, rock, metal and electronic music and I'm blown away. I have to get used to the fact that these speakers sound insane, even if you don't turn the volume up that high, and I'm still fiddling around with the position and optimizing, but the first few tracks were just awesome. Rarely have I seen a product so praised in the press and by users. Well, it's true. It's not marketing, it's just like the people before me have reported. Nubert's: don't think you'll get the parts back > Mine! 😉

Now a little criticism at the end. I had to wait a whole 9 days for my new favorites. You should know that a delivery time of 9 minutes is really long for music freaks. > Joking aside :p But the wait was really worth it and we both can't help the border between you and me. However, I would suggest that you increase the delivery time (if available from stock) to 8 - 10 days in the information for Swiss customers.

I would like to thank you, the Nubert team. The website is great and the information is correct. The staff I got to know on the phone or by e-mail were friendly, customer-oriented and extremely competent. The delivery and the information are perfect.

Anyone who is currently struggling with whether to order or not > Order! You will not regret it.

Best wishes from Switzerland from a new, enthusiastic Nubert customer.

Enough now, must listen to music!

Stefan

Hi there!

I treated myself to the X-3000 for my new office along with feudal wall mounts and I'm absolutely blown away by the power of these little things - and without having to pull a single cable - apart from electricity, of course.

That's really 2019! The loudspeakers can connect themselves in no time at all. Announce once who is to be master and who is to be servant and the paint job is done.

Control via Bluetooth works immediately (once you have understood that you are in the menu with "like the rest of the technology world".
Yes, of course it's in the (very well written) instructions, but who reads them? 😬

Website, ordering, processing, packaging and shipping - all at the very highest level.

I bought both speakers as B-goods and even after almost 2 weeks I still haven't found the supposed paint defects. You're fooling customers and making them look for flaws that aren't even there... 😉

What generally impresses me about Nubert is the incredible attention to detail. The X-3000s are active speakers that both need to be plugged in individually. Bought as a pair, one package comes with a much longer power cable than the other. A smooth 120 out of 100 points!

And in addition to all the cutting-edge technology, these little cubes in white with the black drivers simply look great...

Oh yes - and when I asked a fairly general noobie question via the Facebook page at 10pm on Saturday evening during the discovery phase, I received a reply within 15 minutes, which turned into a very competent and friendly conversation. Not that this is to be expected in any way from now on, but I was definitely very impressed. And that's why I'm mentioning it here.

So, that's it from me... Not been around long, but already a loyal fan with nuLine 244 in the living room and more recently X-3000 in the office!

After buying an AS250 about 2 years ago, I wanted a bit more bass support. Long consideration of suitability for the living room vs. megabass, top advice from Nubert - the AW 600 was the choice, along with a premium y-cable. Unpacked - visually great; connected - contrary to expectations: disappointment. Where was the advertised bass? Phone call with Nubert, again top: the frequency had to be adjusted. As250 at 90hz and the AW 600 almost fully open. Result: bass at its finest, without any booming. Whether Metallica or Blue Monday, TV or PS4, our glasses are dancing. More than enough for me as a normal consumer, even in a large room (45 square meters). Once again top and many thanks to the Nubert team for the great advice. The only deduction in the B grade: I had wanted a Nubine but got another Nubi 😉

Answer from the Nubert-Team

We are sorry, but the mascot "Nubine" could not be reordered for some time due to production problems. In the meantime, our Nubi supplier has also changed its name and it is therefore not certain whether we will continue to produce Nubis at all. Could it be that Nubines and Nubis will become "collector's items"?
