A small addendum to the X3000 I bought 5 months ago. The speakers are still a lot of fun, I use them on my desk as PC speakers and as nearfield monitors for my Korg Triton. The bass is incredible, I turned it down to -6.0dB because otherwise there would be trouble with the neighbors 😉 I can't even imagine the bass that comes out of the big X models... Besides my pair of Nubox 311, these are the 2nd speakers from Nubert and it was the right decision again.

I listened to the new AmpX extensively at your place and was convinced. Both CD and vinyl sound brilliant on my nuVero 10. I have now retired my very good but aged Einstein amplifier. I have discovered a nice additional benefit for myself: Neither my old Einstein nor the AmpX have a headphone output. By connecting my DA converter (DAC Magic plus from Cambridge Audio) to the SPDIF output, I can use its headphone output. And the best thing is that it also works with vinyl. Now I can enjoy my vinyl treasures through headphones on Sunday mornings when everyone is still asleep.

Hello dear nubert team,
I received the nuBox 483 I ordered on Sunday today.
Super packaging, super optics and the first listening test is very promising.
Many thanks and a Merry Christmas to you all.

Hello nubert team,

after I treated myself to the A 300 a few years ago, I read in a test report that they sound better with the 350 subwoofer.
I thought that such a thing only booms, and the 300s already have good bass, but I always wanted to test it out.
Now the nusub came out, so I ordered the 700 and tried it out.
Yes, it booms from time to time, it's probably the room modes. But apart from that, I sat on the couch amazed, I had never heard such a spatial sound before. Even with my old system, speakers for DM 5500 at the time, I may have done something wrong. The bass foundation is insane.
The room calibration works great. I borrowed an Apple cell phone.
Now I have to be careful what I listen to when I listen to music. Some CD's are booming and I don't want the neighbors to hear that.
As recommended, Nusub stands at 1/5 of the room dimensions, so the little white box doesn't interfere with the middle of the room. ?
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I started looking around for floorstanding speakers two weeks ago. I then came across the nuBox 425 Jubilee which I would have liked to order.
Will there be a new edition or an alternative similar speaker in the near future?
Then I would wait.
Best regards
Bernhard Z.

Answer from the Nubert-Team

Thank you for your interest in the nuBox Jubilee 425. As this floorstanding loudspeaker was an anniversary edition, there are unfortunately no plans to re-produce it. The nuBox 483 or nuLine 84 come closest in terms of sound, but the latter is only available while stocks last.

I've been the happy owner of a nuConnect ampX since Wednesday. A fantastic device, superior to my TEAC in every respect, even without calibration (but I'm getting an iPad on loan in the next few days). Bass, tightness, dynamics - super. The USB port on the back has proved to be an extra treat for me. I've been using a Raspberry Pi with Volumio software for some time now and have stored my most important CDs as FLAC files on an SSD. The signal naturally goes into the USB input. The switching power supply for the RaspPi is of the simple variety, so I came up with the idea of supplying it with power via the port instead. I was initially concerned about the power required, as the simple power supply delivers a maximum of 2.5 amps. My hope was that the CPU would only be under a low load for such applications, and this was confirmed. So far there have been no problems with this solution.
Congratulations to the developers for this device and thanks to the staff at the dispatch department.

Oh yes, one more question: Other suppliers of devices with USB DACs always state in the technical data which converter component is used. Why not with the AmpX? I couldn't find any information about this.

Answer from the Nubert-Team

Thank you for your praise of the nuConnect. We will address your question regarding the converter module with our development department and, if necessary, add the information in the technical data or in the description.

So now I have to add my two cents.
I've been the proud owner of this great little NU Connect AMPX integrated amplifier for two days now and I'm absolutely thrilled.
I use it as a second system with two Nubox 313 in the hobby room, TV connected via HDMI adapter, my old Technics Tangential turntable also still connected. Great sound and easy to use, also thanks to the Nubert app. Stream music etc. etc. A real all-rounder for a fair price.
I can only say dear Nubis, keep up the good work.
