Thanks for the techmoan link 😎

Answer from the Nubert-Team

With pleasure!
To understand: it's about a link tip in the new nu?s Letter?

The Youtube tip: ?Antique? HiFi technology: In this issue, we would like to introduce you to a YouTube channel that mainly deals with current and decommissioned consumer electronics. Techmoan? broadcasts in English, but most of the very descriptive contributions should be understandable even without any knowledge of the language. Techmoan? is particularly fond of antiquated hi-fi and home cinema technology, which he describes in detail in his videos and (sometimes literally) takes apart. How about the Tefifon, for example, a mixture of tape recorder and record player that promised hours of music entertainment without the hassle of changing media back in the 1940s and 1950s? Or the O?Casse from Teac, a compact cassette with interchangeable reels? And how does the legendary laserdisc compare with modern video formats? Just browse through the hi-fi playlist!

So, now I'm writing my first online entry in a guestbook ... because I've realized my long-cherished dream of active loudspeakers by purchasing a pair of nupro A-700 speakers and I'm completely thrilled.
The thought of "one day ..." suddenly became a reality when I read the test report in Stereoplay 11/15. The various available test reports speak for themselves. So, ordered, connected and tested in a direct A/B comparison against the existing truly high-quality passive chain (just before the 5-digit ?range): no chance ... for the "old one". The sound quality that the nupros conjure up in my relatively large listening room is simply stunning. Any doubts I had at the beginning were practically swept away with the first notes of the nupro A-700. Clapton's 70s concert in the Royal Albert Hall suddenly sounded exactly as a live concert should - and if you want, even at a level (almost) suitable for a concert. I'm thrilled with the direct, balanced, neutral sound, the control and also the bass foundation and bass reproduction. The diverse, well thought-out connection options are also brilliant. The only component I have added to the nupro is the Oppo BD 105D universal player - that's all you need for a complete hi-fi system to watch/listen to music or concerts and films at a very, very high level - whether from BD, DVD, CD, streaming or USB. Finally, no more discussions about cable sound or other hi-fi voodoo magic and a slim, tidy system to boot.
Sure, you can spend (much, much) more money to get the same level of sound - but you don't have to! I congratulate Mr. Nubert and his team on this development achievement. The value for money offered here in terms of sound and impeccable manufacturing quality for approx. 2,500 ? is actually unbelievable.

The time has now come for me to share a few thoughts here, which I am sure connect me with a large part of the Nubert customer base.

For someone like me, who is quite intensively involved in the passion of high-quality music reproduction, listening, comparing and scrutinizing is part of it.
People buy, sell, swap and ... above all, listen to music. I've listened to so much... at trade fairs, in studios, in countless living rooms... boxes carried, pushed around, turned, angled, tilted...

For some time now, however, I've noticed that I'm focusing more and more on the music...and that the technology is perceived as a matter of course, ...I'm less concerned about what's new in the loudspeaker sector being recommended by the usual media. It's actually a bit of a shame, because searching always has its own special charm...even compared to finding😉

The uncompromising way in which Günter Nubert's team has developed new products is now in my living room. And to make this perceptible to me, all I need to do is press two power switches and the volume control😉

Long live the music!

Best wishes from the north!

Dear Nubert Team !

Here is a short addendum to what I wrote yesterday.
I have now decided in favor of the Nuvero series 1x nuvero 70, 2x nuvero 110 and 2x nu vero 60. and not as originally intended for the nuline series 1x nuline174, 4x nuline 284, I would like to justify this comparatively from my point of view in the following:
- In my opinion, the Nu Vero 110 sounds fresher and more relaxed compared to the nuline 284, in other words the overall sound is simply more detached from the speakers into the room
and plays far more dynamically and sounds less strenuous at loud levels, even at low volume levels/ vocals are crystal clear, as are musical instruments, whether wind instruments, strings etc. In my opinion, the 284 nuline has a higher basic volume level due to its higher efficiency, but it doesn't come close to the nuveros' filigree sound, especially at loud volumes. Of course, we're talking at a very high level here, as the 284s also play in a higher league. In my opinion, the nuveros simply allow you to listen louder for longer without strain
because the sound doesn't stick to the speaker.
I have come to the following conclusion about the levels in the AVRs and how they are compatible with loudspeakers. Many users write that their speakers sound too quiet, e.g. their old speakers are louder, fuller etc.
With my Yamaha preamplifier, as with all Avantage Yamaha AVRs, you should perhaps call up the input settings via the options menu, confirm with Enter and then set the input adjustment with the right arrow key for each input, e.g. blue ray, set-up box, TV, etc., to the highest dB number. to the highest dB number in this case +6.0dB, so the highest input level per connected device is output and you don't need to turn up the volume control on the AVR much more than half depending on the recording, I'm only talking about Yamaha here, but I can imagine that other AVRs (Marantz, Deneon, Pioneer etc.) also offer such options. I already mentioned the many other possibilities of Yamaha devices to influence the basic volume of loudspeakers in my first comment yesterday.
However, everyone should make up their own mind about their loudspeakers, as everyone's listening habits are different. As I described yesterday, each Nubert series has its own sound characteristics and, in my opinion, is a serious alternative to many of its competitors, especially in terms of price/performance ratio.
Incidentally, my good friend Ulli D. shared his opinion of the nuvero 110 without hesitation.
-I use the nuvero 70 as a center speaker and in my personal comparison with the nuline 174 we had almost the same experience as with the nuvero 110.
Voices are even more detached from the speaker, the lateral dispersion angle is also more spatial, the speaker sounds even fuller in the mid-bass range and blends in perfectly with the nuvero 110.
The nuvero 60 is an absolute surprise for me, how a compact loudspeaker can sound so relaxed and detachedly grown-up. The efficiency of 83 dB is even lower than that of the 70 and 110, but with the right settings on the Yamaha preamplifier this can be wonderfully compensated for. Across the entire frequency range, this loudspeaker sounds suitable as a floorstanding speaker for this price of 785 euros per speaker
simply unbeatable, especially in the 11 channel stereo range, where all speakers are integrated, a wonderfully soft and warm sound, especially with classical music such as Mozart, Haydn etc. The
The two nuvero 60s are in my living room on the matching 64 cm high stands as rear surround speakers (in my opinion a great combination with the 70s and the 110s).
No matter what style of music, whether Adele, Udo Jürgens, Udo Lindenberg, Peter Maffay, Supertramp, big band, jazz or opera, these speakers give me and my wife a lot of pleasure with their natural, detached, top-quality sound. My good friend Ulli D., with whom I spent 6 hours in Schw.Gmünd, will also decide in favor of Nubert loudspeakers in due course.
He already has an AVR R, a Yamaha rx-a 3050 Avantage, as his 9 year old M.... Receiver has been out of action for 2 weeks. Then we'll meet again at Nubert and listen until the doctor comes.
Once again, many greetings to the entire Nubert company, especially to Mr. Andre, Mr. Dürr, Mr. Domaier, Mr. Bühler and Mr. Siegle.

Best regards, I remain a very satisfied and happy Nubert fan!!!
Your Manfred P.

Hello nubert team

We were in SG for the first time on Thursday as we have always been in Aalen in the past and wanted to see the other studio.
I had taken a vacation for this day because I wanted to exchange my AW 600 for a larger one and listen to the 1100 and the 1300.
So I went to SG full of anticipation.
Everything was always great in Aalen.
From the reception to the advice and everything.
When we arrived in SG, we were asked by ...... what we were interested in.
So we first discussed a few questions about the sub in question and the current stock sub. Then asked to listen to both.
Hmmm then came the sobering statement that the 1300 was not ready for demonstration... I would have expected otherwise if an existing customer wanted to buy something.
Well, I was able to buy the Aw 1100 in exchange for the AW 600.
Film in and the statement I'll be right back. The gentleman was gone.
I only got the remote control to switch between the subs. None for volume nor for the player to repeat sequences (which is what you do when listening to a movie)
He didn't come back for a while (Thursday lunchtime wasn't really busy)
So I went out and looked around again.
Then the gentleman came back and asked how it was! At least he was as uninterested as we thought he was the whole time.
Well, everyone has a bad day lol
Then we asked to listen to atmos and the 140 er. Ok then the friendly guy gave us a demo, this time there was no FB to switch to LS.... Then he said I'd be right back and stayed away until we were waiting outside the listening studio because the demo had been off for ages....?!????
We don't want to complain but we are very disappointed as we don't live around the corner!

I could go on writing but my conclusion is that we will go back to Aalen in the future, because on the one hand there are salespeople who want to present something to the customer, take their time, offer a little something to drink and most importantly demonstrate the LS that the customer wants to buy. They simply respond to the customer.

Too bad my birthday didn't come off that day.

Answer from the Nubert-Team

Hello "Ben"!
We are very sorry that you did not receive the service in Gmünd that you were used to from the advisors in Aalen. Of course, this should have been better! However, as you can see from the previous entry, other customers have also had better experiences here. Please understand that we have omitted the name of the employee - we do not want him to be "pilloried" here by name. However, we will talk to him about your criticism.

Dear Nubert Team !

On 01.02.2016, my good friend Ulli D. and I finally made our way to Schw.Gmünd to listen to my new Upgrade 2016 loudspeakers for a test drive
and then buy them and take some of them home with us to Kassel.
I also already owned Nubert speakers in 2013, and as a professional musician I can recommend them all without exception, whether Nu Box, Nu Line or Nu Vero series. You can read my report in the guestbook from March 7, 2013 since 43 v.316 entries 631 to 645 of currently 4734 about my Nu Box series at that time.
I have kept the nu line 1300 DSP subwoofer, last year I also bought an SVS 2000 SB, which is a closed subwoofer, this is connected to my Nubert sub with slave out, so I control both subwoofers via the 1300 DSP by remote control with the right setting, a great combination in terms of sound.
I have sold my Nu Box series 1x CS 411, 4x 511 and my AVR RX-A 3040 from Yamaha to a young musician (also a professional musician).
a dear young musician (also a professional musician - trumpet player - who is almost my successor in the orchestra where I played until I retired).
In 2014 I ordered 2 nu line 24 speakers from Nubert, which I use as front presents speakers, so I can use them with my Yamaha Cx-a5100 and Mx-a5000 front end combination as height speakers, e.g. for Dolby Atmos, by setting up rear virtual presents speakers via VPS on the preamplifier and not having to buy any extra, this effect is simply gigantic. With the Yamaha AVRs or the preamplifier you have a lot of possibilities to adjust the speakers exactly to your listening habits, e.g. via EQ, level, distances etc., even the slightly lower efficiency of the Nubert speakers can be perfectly adjusted (e.g. volume level increase or EQ).
My friend Ulli and I were let into the store at 9.15 a.m. I already knew where Nubert was, as I had already been to both Schw.Gmünd and Aalen with my wife in 2013. There my wife and I had listened to the Nu line 284 and the nu line 174 center where we both noticed an improvement in sound compared to the Nu Box series.

Now, on 01.02.2016, it was going to be 4x the nu line 284 and the center 174 for me.
Ulli and I spent 5 hours comparing music and sound (film) nuline 284, CS174 vs. nuvero 110, nuvero 60 and Cs nuvero 70, first with 2 speakers in Studio 3 as stereo,
then as home theater and music in studio 1 with all variations, I have been listening to speakers regularly for almost 1 year now (various companies e.g. Kassel, Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf and many more), but I have never experienced the peace and quiet with which you can take your time for your speakers at Nubert without time pressure - that's how it should be!
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Andre for the patience he had with us, he set up and rebuilt the speakers so that we could always listen to them. Another young employee also gave me very clear advice on how I could best integrate the subwoofer into the loudspeaker set, I think it was Mr. Dürr.
I would also like to thank Mr. Domaier, who, as in previous years, provided me with excellent advice over the phone and also referred me to Mr. Andre, as he was not available that day. In general, anyone who wants to buy loudspeakers should consider Nubert, from the website to the free hotline, where you can get great advice.
free hotline, where you get great advice, from the absolutely fast and reliable delivery to the top advice. Simply enter Nubert on Googel, the rest will
the rest will work itself out. This is not intended to be an advertisement on my part, these are simply my personal impressions that I have had with Nubert for over 3 years.
Apart from the price-performance ratio, for a loudspeaker such as a nuvero110 you pay a comparable 1000 euros more for a manufacturer from XXX, I say this because I have been intensively involved with loudspeakers and sound both professionally and in terms of listening since I was 14 years old.
loudspeakers and sound since I was 14 years old.
I would also like to thank Mr. M. Bühler and Mr. A. Siegle for their telephone advice.

Now I have decided on 1x nuvero 70 as center, 2x nuvero 110 as front speakers, 2x nuvero 60 as rear speakers. As feeders Yamaha cx-a 5100, Mx-a 5000 front and rear combination, Oppo 105 D BD, Samsung SUHD 65 JS 9090, PS 4, BD Rec.Panasonic 940C, Horizon Box, as front
Prensent LS, as already mentioned nuline 24, Subw. nuline 1300 DSP and SVS 2000 SB.

The speakers have now been played in for 2 weeks and simply offer the sound that is called live character.
See you soon Manfred P.

nuPro A200

Dear Nubert team,

I've been looking for clever loudspeakers for my PC for years. Various 2.1 systems have come and gone in that time. A lot of money was invested and the only reliable thing was my frustration with the sound of the systems. Even a higher-priced 2.1 system was a disappointment. They all lacked sound transparency. The mid-range tones and speech intelligibility in particular caused problems for all systems.

By chance, I came across nubert and the nuPro series in a forum. The many positive opinions about the speakers made me curious and so I decided on the nuPro series. I had the nuPro A100 in mind, as it doesn't take up too much space on my desk. But as they are not available at the moment, I ordered 2 nuPro A200s, which were delivered within 2 days. Even the packaging is impressive. The speakers are very securely packed and protected. All cables and remote controls are included. The speakers make a high-quality impression with their clean workmanship. Wiring and commissioning were completed quickly. It is a pity that only the left box can be the master box. A longer USB cable had to be purchased as the PC is on the right and the USB cable supplied is too short.

After installation, however, the fun began. The richness of sound the speakers deliver is impressive. Despite the many positive reports, I hadn't expected this. I've never heard my music on the PC like this before. You simply have to experience it for yourself. The speakers deliver a very transparent, spacious and clear sound. Even the bass sounds very crisp and doesn't miss a subwoofer. It's simply fun to listen to.

The only point of criticism on my part concerns the remote control supplied. It works on an IR basis and there must always be a line of sight to the left speaker. The feel is also not convincing. The buttons are somehow fiddly and spongy to operate and tend to bounce. I would like to see a higher quality design here. Perhaps also as an optional accessory, if it is not possible in terms of costing as an accessory supplied with the boxes.

To summarize, I can say that my decision to buy the nuPro A200 was the right one. The search for good PC speakers has - finally - come to an end
😂 Instead, I've been enjoying every sound for a good week now and I don't think these will be my last speakers from nubert.

Thank you very much for that.

Nubert nuLine 24

Amazing performance!
The speakers are very small, but deliver a lot. For this size, you get an extremely powerful bass. The mids and highs are also convincing across the board. The switchable dipole function creates a surround feeling. The workmanship is beyond reproach. The very elegant, matt platinum finish is very harmonious.
I do have one very small point of criticism, but it is of little consequence. It would be nice if the front grille could be attached magnetically.
Great speakers !!!

These compact speakers are hard to beat.
Very elegant workmanship in a matt finish (white). The sound is breathtaking, the stage is very wide. Very good bass foundation and silky performance. I can recommend these speakers without reservation. Very good value for money for the performance they offer.
