I've been a big home theater fan for 20 years. My equally old speaker equipment cost about the price of a small car back then (4 floorstanding speakers, center and subwoofer).

I was still quite satisfied with the home cinema sound, but somehow I was no longer happy with pure stereo operation. Without subwoofer support, there was a lack of bass foundation, the mids were somehow washed out and everything sounded somehow 'pressed'.

I already knew Nubert through my brother, who owns a surround set from the nuBox series. Even then I was amazed at how good these relatively inexpensive speakers sounded!

During the Whitsun vacations, which I spent in Italy, I studied the Nubert info package for days (compliments to nuMarketing!). In the end I decided on a nuLine set consisting of nuLine 102, nuLine AW-1000 and nuLine CS-42. 2 of my old floorstanding speakers still do a good job as rear speakers.

I have to say that I found the decision relatively difficult. And that's down to the honesty of the Nubert company! Nubert gives the frequency response of the nuLine 102 as 52 ? 24,000 Hz ±3 dB. My old speakers were specified with 33 ? 45,000 Hz. Should the Nubert speakers really have such a weak bass response?

OK, I now know what this is all about. If Nubert, like most of its competitors, were to specify the DIN frequency range, the nuLine 102 would be at 17 ? 30,000 Hz.

But now to my actual experiences. As I couldn't wait for my trip to Italy, I drove to Aalen on the first day after my vacation to listen to the speakers and take them home with me.

My impression in the listening studio was good, so I ordered and paid for the nuLines in black. The first shock came when the 'cart' arrived with my goods! Although I drive one of the most spacious estate cars, I wasn't sure at first whether I would be able to fit everything in. But I managed by the skin of my teeth!

When I arrived home, I unfortunately had to get my wife to help me carry (or rather heave) the boxes up the stairs into the house. What felt like 2 hours of quarry work and a slipped disc later, the new equipment was connected and in place! My compliments for the exemplary packaging and the excellent workmanship of the speakers!

The first listening test in my own living room almost blew me away! Although it is said that the nuLine 102 is "rather slim", it immediately impressed me with its fantastic low-frequency foundation, which comes across as punchy and powerful. But what impressed me most was the fine, precise and clean sound in the mid-range. This was practically non-existent with my old speakers! Not to mention the fact that I also really like the high frequencies. The fact is that I now really enjoy listening to music in stereo again, it's an absolute pleasure! Even my wife, who is rather uninterested in technology, had to admit (a little reluctantly) that the difference in sound compared to my old equipment is light years!

In home theater mode, the difference is not quite as great, but it is also clearly audible and, above all, noticeable! The AW-1000's brute bass power seems limitless! In the 9 o'clock position (25% volume according to the measuring system) the cannon duel in 'Master and Commander' makes the floor tremble and chases the bass pulses right into the pit of your stomach! The AW-1000 is a beast that needs to be tamed! I don't even want to know what it would do if you were to overdo it with the volume!

The CS-42 center speaker has the same frequency range as the front speakers. This ensures absolute harmony in combination with the nuLine 102 and the measurement system of my Denon AV receiver recognizes it as 'BIG'. The intelligibility of dialog is also a class above with this center speaker.

Conclusion: I am very happy with my decision and can recommend the nuLine Set 102 without hesitation! Here you get top sound at a fair price!

Dear Nubert team!

Thank you for building such great speakers.

As of today I am the proud owner of 2 681s and to be honest I am blown away by what a speaker in this price range is capable of.

It's really fun to listen to music!

Greetings from Carinthia / Moosburg (where it's pretty loud at the moment 😉)

I treated myself to a NUBERT SUB 441 for Christmas 2009 and have to say,
I have never heard a sub like this (previously AS10 from Canton). Something so brilliant, especially if you listen quietly.... simply brilliant... thanks to Mr. Nubert for this enrichment!!!

Yay,

I have recently acquired a fully equipped Nubert set! The Nuline 102 set with everything that goes with it now fills my home theater with sound.

It's indescribable what the overall tuning of the speakers does to each other. At first the surround was from another company, now it's Nubert. I am thrilled. The whole thing now harmonizes much better and music and film sound come across even better and more coherently.

The advice from Mr. Härer at Nubert is excellent. Thank you very much for the good advice on the phone and on site! You have to experience it.
You're in good hands here. Ordered, paid, 2 days later knock, knock, here are your speakers. Awesome! You can test everything in the listening studios. Simply great. AND: there's not always someone there pushing and shoving, no, here you sit quietly and relaxed in front of the hammer speakers and listen to some of the software you've brought with you. First-class customer confidence! That convinced me back then and I have no regrets. The Nuline is a great speaker. It produces endless pressure and, in my opinion, can reproduce any style of music.

I had received a "gift check" from Nubert for my birthday. I was wondering: why don't you call it a "NuScheck"?

Maybe I've just come up with an idea? Who knows?

I just think it's great that you don't end up in a service desert with Nubert, whether on site or on the phone. Simply top and always worthy of praise!

Keep up the good work,

Greetings from Hamburg

Hello,

I have also owned Nubert "Nubox 381" products for a year now and am very impressed with both the service and the sound quality.

Once Nubert always Nubert!

No Ultra Mr. Egon Struck can change that.

Greetings Jose

Hello "it doesn't matter at all". You're probably out of luck. I can only give Nubis top marks! Really nice people on the phone and competent advice! Just give them a call!
(I can say that because I don't think I'm an easy customer - with lots of questions)

Greetings

I would like to give a short report on my experiences for anyone interested in the NuVero 5. First of all, many thanks for the fast delivery, it's Nubert. I unpacked the speakers, mounted them as wall speakers and connected them to the AV Onkyo 905. First inserted a CD without the subwoofer and I have to say I'm delighted with the volume and clarity of the reproduction. With the AW 440 subwoofer switched on, I was even more impressed, even my wife was thrilled.
These speakers come very close to a good floorstanding speaker. I was also fascinated by the test in surround mode; in combination with the Dipol DS 301, home cinema is really fun. If you can't use a floorstanding speaker due to lack of space, the NuVero 5 is a very good choice. I will not be exercising my right of return (:-)

Unfortunately, no response to an order request to date, despite several requests by e-mail.

For me, a good supplier not only needs a reliable product but also good service, which is apparently not to be found at nubert.

Unfortunately a rather lazy team, what a pity.

Hello "it doesn't matter".
ALL email inquiries to the Nubert hotline are answered promptly and are usually answered at short notice! Perhaps you addressed your inquiry directly to an employee who is currently on vacation or sick? What address did you email to? Please at least give us the chance to check with you (you did not provide your e-mail address in this entry...).
Why don't you call the hotline and ask?

Hello dear Nubert team,
a big compliment for the great service. What has happened?

A week before the start of my vacation in South Tyrol, my good old AW-7 subwoofer (built in 2001) refused to work, the warranty had of course already expired.
A brief inquiry to Nubert as to whether a repair was worthwhile was answered in the affirmative.
The shipping costs for this 27 kilo part were too much for me: But because I was on my way to South Tyrol anyway, I was able to plan a stopover in Aalen.

Unfortunately, the store doesn't open until 9.30 a.m., by which time I wanted to be in Austria.

However, I knocked on the side window of the service center at 8:30 a.m. because employees were already there. A friendly young lady (hope your bike vacation in Switzerland was good and dry, by the way) then opened the door as a matter of course and accepted the subwoofer for repair and saved me an hour's wait, which I thought was very good.

My enthusiasm was further increased when, on my way back from vacation, I was able to pick up and receive the subwoofer in Aalen, fully functional, at a repair price that would probably not have exceeded the shipping costs.

The friendly gentleman at the service center told me that an AW-7 could not normally be broken. Just a few contacts were re-soldered and that was it.

When I got home, the AW-7 was put back into operation straight away, and now this fantastic speaker is giving my other Nuberts the bass they needed again, just like on the first day, wonderful!

Many thanks once again for the excellent service and a big thank you to the friendly staff at Nubert.
